Former employee here. This place is filled with tons of micromanagement,internal bureaucracy and zero accountability. That's why the store is in the state it's in now. I was recently fired by text bc the manager was too cowardly to have a conversation over the phone or in person on the 27th. After filing for food stamps, I received a call on the 10th of January by my case worker saying the store manager Alex had mentioned me getting fired on the 26th which wasn't true ,bc I have the text message date showing her letting me go that Friday which was 27th and also she told the case worker she had no way of getting my check stubs for the month of December when in fact there is a way.So strange bc this all could have been avoided ..she has the capacity to do so.she prints the checks and pretty much does payroll. The same day Friday I called my ex store manager to speak briefly about the check stubs and you'll see that conversation below. I'm not going to have any hold up with my buisness because a sad person wants a power trip. You'll just be exposed. So to Alex,George and whoever else reading. Stop with the games and have your employee alex email all my check stubs from the month of December to that email that was provided to Alex Friday. I don't know what type of childish tactics you're on but this stops here. You fired me by text and by law you have to provide these documents i requested. So just do it and stop dragging this out. Chevron - Gas Stations Near Me - Vista, California

This is my go to spot, great staff and great customer service. Very clean , reasonable prices and a variety of craft beer to choose from .

Sadly after several visits I have to say that it just gets worse and worse starting with the rude clerks to the many items sold that "are not in the system" and sold at varying prices depending on who rings you up and that is NOT how it works with any business much less a major franchise such as CHEVRON!!! Also it has a small restaurant in the corner of the mart and it's obviously family owned based on the small children behind the counter. As far as gas prices what can one expect in Southern California?? It is what it is but the service you get will leave you feeling a bit dirty and there's no room for that in business. Final conclusion is I'm just going to not do business there. read more

Nice and friendly staff during the day. Nice and friendly staff during the night. Good selection of beers and liquor. Taking away a couple of stars because the guy with the shaved head and goatee will close the store before its 11:45 closing time if he is there by himself. I guess his time is more important than the customers, fellow colleagues who have to share the reputation of the place, and the ownership who lose current and future business as a result. Thats no way to run a business. If its 11:30 or later, save yourself the potential frustration if he is the only one working and head to the nearby Circle K or Arco up Shadowridge. These Guys saw me parked pumpin gas and clearly knew I was going to ask to use the restroom so they looked dead at me several times hoping my pump would not be done pumping gas not giving me time to ask them either that or they were hoping I would not ask, after I was done pumping gas before I could go in and asked they pulled their gates, turned all their lights off on me and closed Early, mind you they close at 12AM not 11:48PM, No wonder this place has a 1-star rating. The worst gas station I've been to. Nothing works! Out of all 12 pumps only like 4 work properly! And the owners tell the employees to park there cars on the pumps that don't work to make it sdem like they're in use. Pathetic! Its been like this since i moved herr 2 years ago. Its a liquor store and thats were i guess they make most of there money but they shouldn't have a non working gas station. Giving Chevron a horrible reputation! HORRIBLE! read more

The pumps are not very well maintained. I went to one pump and after 5 unsuccessful card swipes it did not work. I kept getting an error that said cardswipe is not allowed at this time. It was also very difficult to read the display because of all the graffiti scratched into the screen. I moved my car to a pump at another island and there was a sign posted that the price electronically displayed on they pump was incorrect but you'd be charged the correct price. No need to return here. read more

They don't allow customers to pay at the pump for gas. It's inconvenient because there's usually a long line

Sneaky advertising will never make anybody happy, and here I was surprised that the difference in cash and credit/debit card was a whopping twenty cents a gallon. That's an extra $2 for me, but what about for the bigger cars that come in here unsuspecting of the difference? While I do like the inside of the store they commonly false advertise the gas prices. On the street it will be less than the 7/11 gas station next door but at the pump it's 10 or more cents higher. read more

Card readers out of service every time I come here :/. Gas pumps out of service a lot. Unkept.

BE WARNED!!!! DO NOT try to buy gas here! The card readers on the pumps have skimmed my card 3 times now since May 2017. When you try to buy gas with a card, the screen on the pump is very slow, flickering often. After entering a PIN, it flickered again, processing very slowly, then says to go inside to pay. I called and told the guy working there what happened, and he hung up on me. I also could barely understand him since his English was horrible. Several weeks later I went back and looked closely at the card readers. Several were loose and not secure, and not matching the same color plastic as the rest of the machine like they had been changed out. I tried a debit card first, and when the screen acted up like I described above,I cancelled the transaction. Then I tried a credit card, same thing happened so I left and went to 7-Eleven across the street. Few days later both debit and credit cards had fraudulent charges on them. Go figure. This place needs to get investigated. I have filed a police report and will continue to warn others to stay away from this business. Like others have mentioned, most of the pumps aren't even in service and have caution tape around them. Probably because skimmers have been damaging the pumps and the owner doesn't care enough to fix. Next step will be to contact Chevron corporate. read more
