I often come to this gas station to fill up my gas since it's close to my work and the gas prices are fair. it is less expensive than all the other Chevron around the area. You have the option to pay by cash or Credit Card, cash is usually about 10 cents cheaper. It does get busy during the day but the in and out time are pretty fast since they have a lot of pumps available. Service and staff are great, the convenience store serves hot food and drinks as well. I'd suggest come after hours if you want to avoid the long line/wait. read more

Why do I always think I had written a review and it is not there any longer. This is one of my favorite gas locations. 2 main reasons: 1. gas prices are very competetive amongst the lowest prices in the SGV area. There are 3-4 other locations I consider lower prices. 2. the only location that I've seen that actually changes their windshield washing fluid every single night. The only thing is I seem to drop by here around the same time they do the change out. I don't get to wash my windows. Boo!! I usually pump 87 and it's usually to the far left so when I came to pump gas here, that's what I did; I chose the gas level to the far left as it was first nature. First of all, the credit card number pad wasn't working so I ended up going inside to pay. Then I chose the the level to the far left, as I thought it was 87. This turned out to be 89. When I realized, I was too lazy to walk in and deal with changing it to 87 so I ended up just pumping anyway. What a drag!! Sneaky pumps!! In what universe does the number "89" come before "87"? Its like having "3" come before"1" or "C" come before "A", well, you get the point. At this gas station the product keys are listed 89, 87 then 91. In my many years of filling up, I have never once encountered a gas pump in which regular is in the middle and plus is on the side. I wonder how many people came here and accidentally press the wrong button (or maybe it's just me -_-" FAIL)? But other than that, whats not to like about Chevron Gas, especially when its CHEAP! Its also conveniently located on the corner of Las Tunas and Rosemead Blvd, its clean, there are plenty of stations and they have a store that carries many of your on-the-road essentials (like peanut m&ms and gummy bears). Good quality gas and cheaper than Shell a block away. It is my preferred gas station and is convenient for me as it's a few blocks away from my house. This place usually gets packed during rush hours. So there must be a reason why everyone comes here and not to the Mobil across the street. Perhaps the gas is better than Mobil? All gases meet the state/fed minimum requirements but different companies add different additives to the mix which gives some brands of gas a slight edge such as in cleaning or mileage. Good gas station, but it's always packed. The area is big, but some people don't know how to drive, so it's so hard to navigate whenever there are a bunch of cars waiting in random spots to get to a pump. Because of that, I would suggest trying to get your gas here either early in the morning or late at night. Prices are good though. it's always lower than other places down the street. read more

This used to be better. At one time, the people were nice and the dispensers worked. Now, it's often that a pump or two are not working. The receipts strips are not refilled. 3 of the 4 last times I was here, I had to go in and wait in line just to get a receipt. And I'm here weekly. This past Friday June 30th this station was closed for over 30 minutes while the attendant took a meal break. There were at least 30 people outside waiting in their cars and standing by the doors. Always plenty of pumps. Easy to get in and out of. Well lit. Not dirty or shady at all like a lot of gas stations. Not any people hanging around in the parking lot etc. As a single mom it's important to feel that it's safe as I'm often gassing up at night on my way home with my kiddo. Not only rude employees, but if you pay them in cash, and they do not have the correct change coinage they owe you, they will try to stiff you unless you can make change for them. I've been going to this Chevron gas station ever since I first started driving back in 2003. The prices are very competitive and the service is excellent. The employees are always friendly and will even offer to activate the air/water for free if you ask politely. To top it off, it's open 24 hours, which is extremely convenient. read more
