I get gas here every now and then, and the prices are always more expensive than others but at least it's good gas. This area is pretty well kept although there are some homeless people at the corner. Their car wash is finally open, but their prices are higher than before. Nowhere on their website did it post the prices, so I figured I would drive over and get gas and then check out how much things inflated too! Lol. I used to get my car washed here before when it was nine dollars for a standard wash but at $17 I guess I'll just go wash my car myself. There is a deal for the first month. It was fairly clean. Afterwards, I walked around the ExtraMile shop and looked at the snacks and candy. The hotdogs looked old and overcooked on the warmer. There was a sale on candy. The Indian lady with the short hair and the loud mouth is always b****ing at every customer. She's offensive to everyone, pushy, almost abusive. Saw her today being totally racist to another customer. She was very mean to me and being a chevron credit card holder and as a family spending at least $3,000 a month and paying it off in full, she should have a little respect for us. I hope she will be fired- she's been there for a while and if she's working in the shop I will turn around and walk out and go to another chevron. I don't know her name. Just a PSA that when the car wash expiry says a certain date, the car wash is no longer valid on that date (need to redeem the car wash by the day before the printed date). Hopefully the two different workers that I called earlier in the day that told me the car wash is still valid and wasted an hour of my time to drive out of my way to redeem an expired car wash will inform others better next time. No refund, no override to get a car wash, nothing except a "nothing we can do about it". read more

But overall it was the customer service I should've been given the 1st time around. I gave 4 stars because two of her family members have sent threats and have harassed to me via yelp. Unfortunately, this place is taking a turn for the worse. Are used to come here for car washes, but I've given them a couple of tries lately. First I paid for a wash and I got the wrong one when I drove the vehicle in. Just today I washed my car again to give them one last try and the car wash didn't spray down my car. It's soaped it down and then gave it a little trickle, despite me having washed my car there many other times and know that it should be a pressure wash. I went in to tell them that it wasn't working and ask if I could either try it again or get a refund. They took me into a back room to show me where you can clearly see that my car did not get pressure washed and the person told me that it's because I selected soft touch. It doesn't make any sense but basically my car is covered in a layer of soap and they wouldn't do anything about it. They basically said yeah that's the way our wash works. It's not a cheap car wash so if you're looking to get your car wash, I suggest you go someplace else. I will. read more

I was at this location recently for gas and thought I'd get car wash as well. For some reason the pump didn't print my receipt and I didn't realize I didn't have the code until I got to the car wash entrance. There were few other cars behind me at that point. I went to the store but the cashier wasn't there. I looked around inside and outside and yelled hello few times. And then the manager (I think his name was Ravi) came outside promptly, and he helped me . I was a little frustrated because the cars were honking by now and cashier not being there. I was there to fill air on my tire but it was my first time ever doing it and I had no idea how to. I requested a cashier to help me but he said they were not allowed to. I was stressed how to make the machine work but then the manager named Ravi came and he verbally told me all the steps and made sure he stayed there to watch me do everything correctly. Worst car wash and customer service ever. A lady in front of my parked her car in the car wash lane then walked into the gas station for help because her code would not work. The cashier gave her a new code and she walked back to her car and tried the code, which did not work either. She went back into the gas station and 10 minutes later came back out and the code finally worked. I waited behind her for 20 minutes while a long line formed behind me. Unacceptable. Honestly, I have no idea how a gas station can really get two stars, aside from expensive gas prices and rude service, which I have experienced neither here! The prices always seem to be fair, the employees are friendly (my cashier today was even wearing latex gloves when handling money!), and they have a freaking car wash! The car wash is regular prices and it's very quick. I've always thought the job was well done also! I mean, it's an automatic car wash, it's not being done by hand. And they use rain-x, which I really like! If you purchase a car wash you do not have to redeem it immediately. They give you one week to do so. This Chevron is less than a year old. Although it has a Saratoga Avenue street address, the gas station actually fronts Campbell Avenue. It's located at the corner of Saratoga & Campbell Avenue. Very centralized location across from the Century 25 dome theater, 76, Westgate Mall and faces Target. A Mimi's Cafe & a Red Robin are just a few doors down. What I like most about this Chevron is its brushless touch-free car wash in the back of the station. Nothing comes into contact with your car's precious paintwork except water, soap suds, liquid wax and air as the Laserwash 4000 works it's magic. Not even wheel guides which often mess up your chrome rims and 22" Pirellis. You have total control of your car during the whole wash cycle. The cycle starts with you rolling the car over powerful jets which washes the undercarriage. Then after you come to STOP, powerful rotating jets start blasting away all the grime, bird poop, dead bugs & other remnants of road kill. The jets first sweeps from right to left across the front and hood, then rotate 90 degrees to sweep from front to rear and repeats the cycle from rear left to right flushing all the loose debris and soap off the car. Your wash status i.e. 'car is soaking', 'clear coat protectant', 'spot free rinse' etc is shown by the lighted signs on the driver's side. I wouldn't be surprised if you feel the earth shake if you have a Mini Cooper. My car felt like it got hit by a tsunami. Next comes the pink soapy solution that rains all over the chassis. The wash cycle comes again followed by a nice rinse cycle. When the light turns green, you roll your entire car under air blowers to get it dry. I'd estimate the whole wash to be about 6-7minutes tops. HINT: To maximize the dry coverage, try inching your vehicle forward at an inch a minute. I mean REAL SLOOOW. There's nothing to prevent you from reversing to dry out any missed spot, but remember to pull forward after you're done or there'll be a major accident waiting to happen in that car wash. The basic express soap-rinse-dry cost $6 and goes up to $10 for the premium wash like the Rain X. For the convenience of not having to get out of the car, I think its competitive with the handwash places. I love it when I see the water beading 'coz that's when I know the rain repellent solution they use is effective. read more

Shell carwash on Winchester/Williams scratched my car so I am never doing that again, and I don't want to spend $20 on a car wash. At first this car wash (brush free) seemed like a great idea, but here are a few things you might want to know: 1) You will get no cost down by filling up at this station, so you might as well take advantage of cheaper prices elsewhere. 2) Their fill up is completely screwed up. Somehow my tank had about 60-80 miles less in it when I filled up here, than any other gas station. I reset my odometer during each fill up to track gas usage. At first I thought it was my car, but then I filled up somewhere else and it was back to normal. Considering $4/gal cost they owe me $12 3) If you accidentally choose the wrong wash, you better make sure the manager is on site or they won't fix it. Unless you want weather proofing, I suggest the $8 car wash option. 4) You have to time the drying time by driving through. The clock is fast, so you have about 10 more seconds than it says. Take your time. Overall, not bad for a cheap car wash, but I suggest you have a towel in your car for last drop drying. read more

Stole my money... essentially! I drove up to the carwash, but it didn't want to take my $5 bills, so I went and paid at the pump. Turned around to go get the carwash, and they'd closed it for maintenance. That was all well and good, but they REFUSED to reimburse the money I spent on the carwash, even though they admitted that it would not be available for at least 30 minutes! So, one star for the fact that the pumps took my money and gave me the car wash code. NEGATIVE stars for the machine that wouldn't accept my 'new' $5 bills. a simple car wash has never pissed me off so much.. first off, it takes forever to get inside if there is even the smallest of lines. There were three cars in front of me and I waited almost 40 minutes to get the hell out of there. I also had to wipe all the excess gunk off of my car afterwards. Yes, it is cheap but I have had car washes that were only 8 dollars that cleaned my car better than this place. It is a glorified rinse. Beware using your credit card on the car wash kiosk. It didn't give me a receipt though I pressed "Yes" when it asked. I just shrugged it off until I noticed an extra $126 pending charge on my card immediately following the $6 for the car wash. So I print out a copy of my online statement and brought it in to inquire about it. Just as my patience was about to run out the cashier lady tells me to come back on Monday (2 days later) to see her manager because she's just a cashier and can't really do anything. The pending charge disappeared by the end of the day so I guess the problem resolved itself? I will give benefit of the doubt that this was a flub in the system and not some shady business going on. I've been coming here for years without complaints because this is the closest Chevron to my house and I have a Chevron/Texaco business gas card, but I will be avoiding this place from now on because too much about this experience was off-putting. read more

I like how this Chevron has a car wash. Prices are reasonable. $10 for rain-x wash, $8 for deluxe and $6 for the basic wash. It's convenient, but it does tend to be busy on weekends. This gas station also has a vacuum cleaner. Not many people know this. They have one vacuum cleaner which takes quarters. Gas is a bit in the more expensive side because it is Chevron. Chevron gas is uber expensive and I only fill up there when my car needs a wash. If there is zero star, i would have give that. This is a scam. I went to get gas for my car. As usual, I would sit in my car for it to fill up. This time the pump was very very slow. After 15-20 mins, i checked and the gas was spilling out from both sides of the pump like sprinkler. I looked at the guy inside the gas station and he was staring at me as if he already noticed the spill for awhile. Why didn't he turn off the pump? Wasted all these gas. But the most important thing was i could have been killed if there was a spark. I feel like this is a scam so the gas station owner could get few extra bucks from their customers.
