I came on to give this place a solid review and was quite surprised to see how many one-star reviews are here! Looking through them I realize they're from several years ago. So ... you can stop avoiding this chevron station now. Prices were on par with other gas stations around town. I got to use my Albertsons/Safeway points to bring it down in price per gallon. Jake was an awesome attendant. Quick, friendly, washed my windshield. Two thumbs up. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that I (personally) don't like pulling in and out of this station. Too cramped? Too busy of a street? Too many businesses around? I don't know for sure but I get kinda stressed out about it. read more

Had an extremely unpleasant experience with what turned out to be the owner of the Chevron in Eugene, OR on Willamette Street. If this is the quality of care and customer service you receive at Chevrons, I will never come back. I was on my way to the gym at 5 am and rolled into the location. As I was getting my car ready to pump, what turned out to be the owner angrily shouted from the door (I was on the pump closest to Willamette) that they were closed and that they opened at six. Naturally I thought nothing much of the interaction at the time and thought fair enough. So I came back after the gym on fumes, my tank was very close to empty, at six looking to fill up and get on with my day to help my family get to daycare and then go to work. I noticed the pumps were still off and I figured the location might be moving slow so I unscrewed my cap and was starting to wait when I saw the same man behind the glass of the office look at me angrily and petulantly point at his "closed" sign and then wave childishly "bye-bye" before turning on his heels and walking into the back. He did this without any conversation or really any thoughts to his deeply unprofessional behavior. I've been in customer facing industries for over 25 years and I have never dealt with someone who acted in this manner either as a customer or as an employee. I rarely give reviews and honestly give people in customer service industries a huge amount of latitude when I receive poor service but I couldn't believe the sheer arrogance and aggression I received as a potential customer. I couldn't let it stand so I walked from Willamette to the front door and motioned to the man, who is older than my father(!), to come talk to me where I discovered it was the owner of this particular location who was being this way. Will not be back to this Chevron. I would love to see this Owner/manager Ron get some sort of reprimand but I doubt that will happen. read more

Sunday 7/20/25, pulled in at 8:40 to fill up since they are supposed to close at 9 yet the pumps were all off. This isn't the first time they have closed early for no reason forcing me to drive across town with less than a gallon in my tank. Do your jobs as advertised and CLOSE AT YOUR STATED HOUR. read more

I encountered a older man name Ron. He had more time to talk with customers than help and acknowledge others. Lousy service

I drove into this station that I have used almost exclusively for upwards of 20 years with a cigarette in my hand which one of the attendants saw and shouted for me to put it out which I immediately complied with. The person continued to shout "put it out" over and over. I responded "it's out" whereupon he shouted at me "don't yell at me.. this is MY station followed by some expletives which were unclear to me as I had decided that I would not tolerate the bombast he was hurling at me at about 1:30 pm 7 november. The person was not familiar to me but was approximately 35 to 45 years old and heavy set. I would hope his supervisors would help him to understand his responsibilities. read more

Very helpful and nice attendants and lowest price gas in South Eugene. Cash or credit is the same price.

The Gas Attendants are friendly and professional. The CMart typically has one young person at cashier and I was there today as I am occasionally to purchase a few convenient items. The Attendant was pretty efficient and polite but there were 2 or 3 very belligerent and rude redneck impatient (one drunk) types trying to purchase their alcohol and proceeded to yell and intimidate to 'hurry the hell up.' If this had happened to an older or handicapped person it would be devastating. I strongly recommend a person of authority, size or experience perhaps a security guard be there as backup as the young attendant seemed afraid to speak up. I found this very disconcerting in a town such as Eugene which tends to have an older slower population. I am patient and efficient and this was disgusting to witness in my hometown. read more

I dislike this fuel station very much. Chevron fuel has always been my choice and this being the closest fuel station to my house so nice, especially when they have the best gas prices in Eugene. However, I have a very high performance STi that demands premium fuel when not running on E85 and they clerk filled the tank with regular. Doesn't seem like to big of a deal, but when I asked the manager how he would like to handle his employee's mistake, he was extremely rude and refused to even talk to me. He even hung up on me while i was talking with him on the phone. Then when I got ahold of corporate they seemed uninterested in doing anything for this terrible experience. I can go about 200 miles on a tank at over $50 a fill. Thats a lot of business they are missing out on. They should focus on taking better care of their customers. read more

Do not support this business. This business is scam artist. I'll get you for whatever they can. There gas is way overpriced and they just ripped me off for my U Haul rental. Its not my first bad interaction with this company. Years ago there carwash severely damaged my car and they wouldn't do anything about it. This is not how to run a business. read more

This past Saturday I went to the Chevron on Willamette like I usually do when I have Safeway Rewards. This time I had 3 gas rewards! I was so excited and wanted to fill my tank with my discount. I asked the attendant to put $30 in. He came back with a receipt that said $19. Wtf?? I got out of my car and said that I didn't understand why he stopped it at $19 because my tank was not full. He said the pump stopped automatically. But, then when I tried to voice my concerns about losing my reward points, he looked at me with a blank stare and walked away to go help someone else. Needless to say, I was flaming by this point. I had not only lost my points, but now this dick was just going to ignore me and not even attempt to help in any way?? I got out a pen and asked him his name. Again, the blank stare. He finally did give me his name and I told him that I would be calling his supervisor on Monday (today). Okay, that was the shitty part. I was pissed all weekend and couldn't wait to call the superviser this morning, but when I did he was so nice and calm. He explained about the automatic stopping of the pump and that by law they can't continue. I accept that, but he said the attendant maybe should have asked me if that amount filled the tank or not just to be sure, but every attendant is different. He apologized for the guy and then informed me that he had just been let go due to that poor attitude. He also tried to help in suggesting I contact Safeway to see if they may give me back my points, or something along the lines. It may not work, but I just appreciated that he tried to help. I gave the place 4 stars only because of Dwight, the manager. He is always very sweet when I go there to get gas and was very professional on the phone when I spoke with him. Yesterday I had decided I would never go back because of that jerk, but today after talking with Dwight, I will be back. Thank you Dwight, even for just being supportive. read more

I will never go to this station again. Was told I did not have any Safeway points when in fact I had 2. The attendant was very rude and when I got home I found my gas cap hanging from the side of the car and the door open. When he saw my two dogs in the car he said sorry we don't give treats because our boss is too cheap. It is not even deserving of one star!!! read more

I once bought gas here and the pump overfilled and ran all over my car and the attendant told me I had to pay for it anyway and he couldn't refund me any money because everything was automated. Not Happy! read more

I have been purchasing gas at the Chevron station on Willamette for over 20 years, we have 4 vehicles in our family and we are all loyal customers. I drove into the station yesterday, I had a full tank, but I was out of windshield washer fluid and I was having trouble seeing out of my windshield. Admittedly, the station was busy at the time, but I asked the attendant if he wouldn't mind just washing my window for me. He stood there and argued that the station was too busy and It would be about 10 minutes before he could get to it. He walked away and stood by the next car just holding onto the nozzle waiting for their tank to fill and in the meantime went to speak to one of the other attendants. The next attendant came over to me and asked what he could do for me. I made the same simple request and he again refused and just walked away, dismissing me. Seriously? In the same amount of time that these 2 bozos took to discuss whether or not to wash my window, the job would have been done and I would have been on my way as a satisfied customer. Instead they chose to just stand there waiting for the adjacent car to finish, the smallest amount of hussle would have gotten the job done in 30 seconds! I will no longer patronize this station and neither will any of my family members. I have a HUGE local social network, I will never recommend this station and I will discourage my large contact list to do the same. There is no customer service or good will, and no value to their customers, they are not deserving on loyal customers. They are not the only station in town. It's obvious that these 2 employees are not smart enough to make a small "executive" decision to satisfy a customer, but what else can I expect from a gas station attendant. read more
