I filled my tank up for $162.97 and it only gave me 380 miles to empty. Proving that they are selling regular unleaded as Premium and screwing customers out of their money. My truck shakes and trembles when I put cheap gas in it and it started doing that soon after I left Shell. Damn, blue color thrives. Yes they sell it cheaper than other places but, I see why. It was still $4.89 a gallon!!!

The people at this particular location are great, however the facilities are a bit outdated. There tends to be problems with the bathrooms from time to time, it's a bit crowded, and the temperature control is not the greatest. However they've been making some improvements recently and completely redid the cafeteria, which has a good variety of food with plenty of healthy options, and have been adding additional parking spaces. It tends to get trafficy around rush hour, but if you live in the downtown/midtown area like me you are going against traffic so it's not bad.

I even tried telling her that I wanted tacos del pollo or however you say it in Spanish. She was all, okay!! And proceeded to grab a couple of tortillas and went straight to the beans. Cold stuff is always first so you have to start in the middle and then work your way out and walk the entire damn store to get to the cold stuff. This is like getting in your car without the keys and trying to go somewhere. Just doesn't make sense. I will say all of the staff are completely friendly. Even though they are younger because they are mostly high school students, they're very very helpful. So props to them for that. Not bad for only being half a mile away. I would prefer Kroger. But that is a longer drive and I am lazy ha ha. Usually, they're out of stock on a lot of items, but with the new H-E-B open on Bridgeland Parkway. And since they use pumps to put the oil it wasn't just a little spill either it was a big splash. They weren't even transparent about it, almost like they wanted to hide it. We asked the other worker to confirm what happened and he said she wiped it up. Come home and look under the hood and it's a hot mess. You don't spill oil all over the engine and just assume wiping it up is gonna be safe. My husband had to buy degreaser and take it to another shop to have them inspect that it was safe to drive. The guy who initiated the process didn't even ask to confirm my name or info. He just assumed my car was under whatever previous owner had already had an account with them. A simple question to confirm name would have made the paying process much more easier later. The only person here that helped the most was Joe, who did my inspection and changed the previous owner's account information to mine. I am livid about this experience, and we will never go back. Please be observant of what they are doing with your vehicles. Spilling oil all over your engine and in crevices you can't see is not okay.

I went here because it's close to my house, and I thought a coolant leak was probably a quick fix…read more I got a quote to fix my coolant leak, but they ran a full diagnosis on my car to make sure everything was working properly. When I got their diagnosis report, one thing stood out to me... my spark plugs? I had just gotten those fixed... interesting! I went to my usual mechanic, Nolls Auto, for a second opinion. He called me and explained that I only needed to replace a screw on the coolant hose--not the entire system, as they suggested. My rear shocks, struts, and spark plugs were also in perfect condition. This clearly shows that Sun Auto is dishonest and fraudulent. I called them twice for clarification, but the manager never returned my calls. They also charged me $165 for their fraudulent diagnosis. Their tactics are shady. I recommend finding a different, more trustworthy mechanic.
