The staff at this location are wonderful, especially the sweet little lady that runs the Laredo Taco portion! She is always so happy and friendly and I love coming here to grab some breakfast tacos. The picadillo tacos are my favorite. The rest of the staff are also wonderful and very helpful as well! My family and I love coming here for the slurpees and the ice cream machine also! Hopefully this location stays clean and keeps their 5 star rating! The one downfall I would say is that in the afternoon the store gets over run with teenagers! They're not always the friendliest and have no regard for other people's personal space. Other than that, this 7 Eleven is great!

The bathrooms are above-average clean for a gas station and are very modern. It looks like a great place to buy beer--they have a selection equivalent to a grocery store and a dedicated walk-in cooler. The food is another story. I've seen the food well-stocked, but I went in at noon on a Saturday for something hot and was disappointed. They didn't have the chopped beef sandwich or sriracha burger that they advertised as a special. I think they were understaffed and didn't manage to stock. I ended up with a sausage on a stick and a choice off the roller grill. They did have a good variety there, including a breakfast sausage that was tempting, but in the end I went with a pepperoni pizza grilled sausage, with some "chili" and cheese from the dispensers. Gourmet food it was not, but actually not half bad. The sanitary conditions for the food were good. The buns were individually wrapped, and the drink cup lids were in dispensers that cut down on fingering the stack. They had two Freestyle machines, and both appeared to be working properly, which you can't take for granted. The gas is a bit above average in price, but it's convenient and I'm happy to patronize it.

But pretty much a step back. They still warm the tortillas fresh on the grill and they have a nice char on them. I got barbacoa and alhambre (sausage). The tacos were OK, the beans were OK, the rice had not much flavor. One thing that did stand out was the salsa--the red salsa is flaming hot, I could only handle a few drops on my tacos, so if you are wanting really hot salsa it could be worth it. The taco business is separate from the gas station. You pay for the food at the food counter, and drinks and anything else at the register. The station is not kept up as well as the Stripes was. The bathrooms were not real clean and out of towels, and one of the drink machines was out of ice. Not terrible but you can do better.
