My husband and I have visited this Chevron gas station over the past several months and have been very pleased with our experience every time. We also love that we can get our gas filled pretty much contact-free since we can pay through their app. It's incredibly convenient and ensures a quick and hassle-free transaction every time. What makes this Chevron station particularly cool and unique is that they have attendants who pump the gas for you (full service gas station). You really don't have to get out of your car, and the best part is, there's no need to tip! We've also noticed that their gas prices are sometimes (if not often) better than those of nearby competitors, which is an additional plus. Additionally, they offer a monthly car wash membership program, which is a great perk for keeping your car clean without needing to drive elsewhere for a wash. We haven't signed up for the car wash membership ourselves, but we always see a line for the car wash. I like the new perspective from this carwash! Full-service gas station! Yeah! They train their employees to be courteous and friendly. The hours are great; open a little later than others. I bought the monthly wash package but I rarely use it, so I do believe it is working out in their favor. If you have a black car... Get it! They need to be able to run your credit card at your car window for full service gas. Also, I need an interior service occasionally, so maybe an add-on option to add to my membership. The full service is a nice idea. Not necessary to me, but seemed like a fresh start to new ownership. I first visited on 8/8/23. The worker helping me was nice. He advertised the monthly car wash plan, which i declined. Because i declined, he offered to give me 2 free car washes to try. I was in a rush, so i had to go. He said they will put my license plate in the system and note that i will have 2 free car washes. As i drove away, another employee reminded me that i will have 2 free washes under my account. Awesome! I came back on 8/29/23 and wanted to use one of my car washes. This employee looked up my license plate, but said he found nothing and all he can offer was the first month membership for $1 (and there would be a whole pamphlet on how to cancel...) I was disappointed and felt they are just trying to get you to subscribe. Sounds like it's quite a process to cancel later. read more

The service is excellent but good luck if you ever want to cancel a membership. I tried to do and they acknowledged it was cancelled but they continue to charge my card. They even claim I signed up for a new membership 8 months later which is untrue. They charged my card in the interim and thereafter even though I don't have an active membership. Being a full service gas station there has to be a better way with how to pay, because going inside to pay is a little awkward for me. I mean I might as well pump my gas. Pro Tip: Read the wash options and pricing beforehand because the only chance you get to look at the menu is right before you go into the car wash from the attendant holding up the menu! Drive towards the wash, the attendant will run out and show some menu options. You also need to fold your mirrors in 3. Pay with card or cash handed to attendant 4. Drive through car wash 5. An attendant will wipe down your car at the end 6. Drive to the self vacuum stations and finish up with vacuuming Obviously if you want something full service then go elsewhere! So I come here to get my car washed and it's amazing and definitely does the job on a luxury vehicle without unnecessary damage. The people are friendly and they are serious hard workers meaning prideful in their work. It helps that it's a quick ride from my mall extravaganzas!! We stopped by this Chevron on Sunday, May 12th around 7pm. $3.999 regular $4.159 plus $4.259 supreme   Listed above were the prices per gallon that day, which wasn't too bad. After a long day in San Jose, I decided to get my car washed and vaccummed, full service. I'm on the road a lot, so I appreciate having a nice clean car. I paid $35, although pricey - I have had some great detailing work done for around that price. No worries there, I reeally wanted a nice clean car. While sitting there, I overheard one of the guys talking about me and my car. I speak and understand spanish, so I was quite upset to hear that I was being spoken of so poorly. Especially after paying so much and getting ready to tip on top of that. I made it known that I understood they were talking about me and left without giving another dollar. This was my go to station because it usually has the lowest prices in the area. But my last 4 times here, I was irritated especially my last stop because one of the full-service guys was so persistent to pump my gas and I told him that I would do it. It was the face he made and the way he said "ok" after he finally gave up and let me pump the gas that annoyed me. Also, they closed down 2 working pumps (with cones) and made me wait before letting me pull up to one of the 5 available pumps. Why? Why did you make me wait? There were 5 available pumps. Unless they change their ways, I'm gonna take my business to the Santa Teresa/Blossom Hill one even if I have to pay 30 cents more. I just wanna pump my gas and go. read more

Tried their carwash for the first time. I was a Classic Car Wash customer as of late and now in search of a new place to take my car. Wanted to check them out. I got their lowest package for inside and out cleaning: $29.99. Pretty pricey. They advertise service within 20 minutes. Slow service here when it's busy though. One thing I like though is that it's one worker per car. That person can focus on the whole car, instead of just focusing on one side or just the windows, etc. I thought my person did a fairly good job, even though a few areas were off the mark. Vacuuming is not as good here as Classic, but the tires are cleaned better here than Classic. The exterior and windows are pretty much given the same attention as Classic and rushed through. I won't come here again, but I like it here better than Classic. read more

That's not the situation here,situation is on the way home they realized the passenger mirror was cracked,they went back to the car wash,the staff said it was already broken. Note that my friend doesn't need money,she doing fine.She doesn't need to lie about a mirror or anything dishonest.That was an insult 1st of all.Then they go back and forth saying it was broken.Finally they admitted it and are sending her to get it fixed somewhere.(once I get details or results I will update,but can you believe that???? TLDR: This gas station has a unique business model (a nearly-full service gas station) that will appeal to some customers but irritate many others due to poor execution of the business model. I struggled with how many stars to award this Chevron station, because it does offer some unique benefits. Those benefits, however, come at a great cost as the station executes its business model (poorly). So let's start with the benefits/plusses: When the management and/or ownership changed hands earlier this year, they instituted a "radically conventional" business model that offers unique benefits. Yes, radically conventional. Conventional in the sense that management revived the very old, very traditional concept of a full (or nearly full) service gas station. Now, younger readers here on Yelp might wonder, "what the heck is a full service gas station?" Well, it is/was a model in which an attendant meets and greets you as you arrive at the station, pumps your gas, and sometimes cleans your windshield and checks your tire pressure. This Chevron station tries to replicate that model. Nostalgia immediately sets in as you head to the gas pumps: young attendants in white uniforms politely meet and greet you and offer to fill your gas tank as you remain in your car. You hand him (they were all men when I went there) your credit card and they pump gas, process your credit card payment right there at the pump, then return your card. Great experience ... until the next phase kicks in. Things get interesting. Read on.... The attendant(s) will try to sell you on a car wash subscription, and it's a HARD sell. As of several months ago, when I fell for this deal, subscribers were charged $12.99 per month for the first two months for unlimited car washes. (Note: the credit card that you hand the attendant will be entered in the gas station's database, along with your car's license plate number.) This charge is per vehicle, so if you enroll two cars, you'd be charged $25.98 monthly. After the first two months, your monthly fee jumps to $29.99 per month per vehicle ($59.98 per month for two vehicles). You'd get unlimited car washes every month for the duration of your subscription. If you visit the gas station at least twice per month (per vehicle), the subscription will probably pay off. However, if you don't, I think you won't benefit from the ongoing subscription. Meanwhile, your credit card will be charged monthly, until your subscription is formally canceled. Don't get me wrong: an ongoing monthly subscription WILL benefit some customers, namely those who plan to visit the car wash at least twice monthly. I think many customers, however, won't benefit. For them, the subscription would be a waste of money. (I'm one of them.) What I particularly dislike about the station's execution of this business model are (1) the HARD sell of the subscription and (2) the failure of the attendants to disclose the details of the subscription. They don't provide a copy of the written contract (at least didn't for me) that discloses the terms of the contract. In fact, I had never seen the written contract until I ran across another Yelper's review that included a snapshot of the contract. I thank that person, because I wouldn't have otherwise known how to cancel the subscriptions for my two cars, which I ended up doing. Suggestion for the management: Produce a tiny, colorful brochure that briefly spells out the terms and benefits of the subscription. Hand the brochure to all customers who aren't subscribers. Ask the customer if he/she has any questions, and engage him/her in a discussion ONLY IF he/she does. Stop the HARD sell immediately. You're losing customers and $$$ with constant hard sells of all customers/cars not in your database. Long-term, return customers are a blessing. Actions that annoy prospective customers on their first couple visits isn't good business practice. I've decided not to return to the station because I don't want to be given the hard sell every time. I don't want to prepare myself to tell the attendant "NO" every time. That would, and did, get old very quickly. read more

I like this new service of pumping the gas for me, but I do not like the fact that I told them I wanted only a certain amount and they decided to fill up my gas all the way. I did not complain because I had the funds to be able to afford that, I can't say that for other people in this economy so I would say they need more practice with listening to what the customer wants. read more

Definitely my to go spot for getting my car wash. I always purchase the $25 - Work Wash, because it includes everything including the tire cleaning. They also have the promotion of 2 car wash for $46. Saves you $4. The people here are very polite, genuine too. Also you got more discount on the gas price if you purchase car wash from the machine. I've been going here for the last three to four years, I don't think I can go to anywhere else. read more

This station is perfect.... if you carry cash and not in a hurry. So, at any given time only one to two pumps actually work. There's 8 pumps, but not even half work. Who is this possible??? It's also annoying because it's one of those pull up stations where you drive in one way and exit opposite, if that makes sense? For example, my pump is on my drivers side. I can only go to pump 3,4, 7, or 8. If those aren't working, I have to flip B^^^^ to use the other pumps, then circle around. Sounds confusing, but when you're there you'll know what I'm talking about. Once you do get to a working pump, make sure you've got cash. The last several, like 5 times, only cash purchases. I almost never carry cash, like most folks these days. I have this station 2 stars because at least the people working their are super nice and attentive, especially the car wash care people. read more

WARNING! Only go through this car wash if you don't care about getting scratches all over your vehicle and if clean-ish is all you're looking for. I typically wash my car by hand, but ater being pelted with seagull poop, I headed to the nearest car wash. The basic wash was $7 and an additional $2 to deal with the poop. The cashier was friendly and all seemed fine. After taking my newer SUV through, I got out to readjust the mirrors and reattach my antennae. To my horror, I found fine scratches ALL OVER my vehicle. They were in the exact pattern you would expect from the swooshing strips of fabric that this car wash uses. What was even worse, I found deep scratches in one door which were not there just ten minutes prior (see photo). When I spoke with the cashier, she immediately got her manager. A man named Ramesh came and IMMEDIATELY was on the defense. Without even looking at the scratches, he started in on me about how their machine has no way of scratching and it couldn't ever possibly be his machine. He hadn't even looked at the scratches yet! When I finally got him to look at them and to see how they were in this swooshing pattern that's very similar to what their strips of fabric in the machine are doing, he continued to violently oppose the idea that it could've ever been from his machine. When I showed him the deep scratches on one of the doors, he practically started mocking me, saying that surely I wouldn't know all the scratches of my vehicle and that these were there the whole time and I just didn't realize it. When I told him that I know my scratches, he asked me to start pointing out every scratch that I had before I went through the car wash to prove it! When I explained that all I was looking for was to give him feedback in case something needed attention in his machine, he accused me of not knowing my vehicle and clearly not understanding his machinery. His absolute refusal to even consider my claims clearly showed that he has no intention of taking ownership for any error. This doesn't even begin to touch on the fact that my car was STILL DIRTY and the bird poop (which I paid extra for!) was STILL THERE! Ramesh wouldn't even extend a common courtesy of removing the remaining dirt and bird poop because he was so busy implying that I am an idiot who doesn't know anything. I wasn't looking for the repair of my vehicle or even a freebie -- I was simply trying to give him customer feedback to try and help his business be better. But after his violent and defensive lack of any customer service, it's clear he doesn't care about you or your car! read more

Ok, I know what you are saying.... a gas station review? Well, I am writing it really for the carwash. I love this place. 7bucks and you get a HAND DRIED car! WOW! And you get a token to vacuum (4 minutes, enough to do a quick clean). I really like this place and the people who work here. It is a bit hard to get in and out of BUT well worth it. My car always looks so nice when I leave and none of that stinky "my car was in the car wash" smell you sometimes get in your vents after a wash. Thumbs up peoples! read more

Took my car for a car wash today which I usually take but because they were so busy my car ended up with soap on it and had to go through the line again which was twice as long and with a baby crying in the car we went in again. There was a truck in the front of my car that was not paying attention nor the workers were paying any attention to how stacked up cars are and so I ended up bumping in the truck in front of me!!! This place is horribly managed! We won't be going there again even if they give us full refund which by the way they didn't offer. If you want to go there try week days not weekend! read more

So the car wash, first it's by chevron so you know they back up the gas. The car wash is no different, imagine a washing machine. The wash is great. I said washing machine because you get enough soap and get extras also (pay of course) but worth the extra. I've been to car washes and they have a lot of litter in the parking lot area, mainly people not using the trash can but to my surprise it was fairly clean here. I do enjoy this Chevron station. Every time I seem to go there, there never seems to be a line. I am always usually in and out. Not to mention, I believe this to be one of the cheaper Chevron's around, if that is the gas you prefer. There is also a car wash at this location. I have not used it before, but during the day, there are actual people to hand dry your car, if you are in to that. There is also an air pump, right when you enter, to get those tires up to suggested PSI. Haha read more

Gas! This station is located near the Oakridge Mall. The prices are decent, not the cheapest and not the most expensive. One issue is that they only allow one direction of car flow. So if your gas tank is on the left side (like most people), you have to wait in line. The lines for the cars with gas tanks on the right are usually open. If you're looking for a decent car wash, this is a nice place to go. They also give you a discount if you get gas beforehand. They make it convenient where you can buy the type of car wash after you finish filling. I got the most expensive wash because my car was super dirty. It wasn't the greatest cause I had a little spot of bird poop left, but my car is in better condition than before. Darn them birds. read more
