I try to always get my gas when I'm doing my shopping in Elk Grove. I forgot to do that during the weekend and went to this shady gas station. Very unfriendly person inside when you try to pay for the pump, they didn't help me so I had to switch to a different pump because for some reason it was denying my card. 1. There card readers almost never work at the pump. 2. I got Dutch Cigars last week, and both packs had a bunch of white mold. 3. There's a girl that works at night, and she's always rude. I just went there, and she was too busy on her phone to notice I was standing at the window in front of her. I said excuse me, and she just answered "what." I'll just go to Arco or Shell from now on. This Chevron is located on the Northeast corner of Florin Road and S. Land Park Drive. It's one of the most pristine gas stations I've ever been to. They only allow one patron at a time in the small convenience store and masks are required. Should you decide to go inside you'll find a decent selection of cold beverages, coffee, and typical road food snacks. I usually go inside to pay for fuel and grab a soda to go. On the other hand, and as an option to going inside the store, there is a drawer attached to the small office where you can pay from outside with cash or credit card. Several times I've had issues with pump being broken or pumping at a snails pace, it's rarely an easy in and out for gas and sadly you'll be approached by homeless which is a far greater concern than than inefficient pump. read more

I went to pick up a few items at this location. I also needed some air in a tire of the car. I showed the cashier by the name of Kreasha my disabled placard and asked her if there was someone available to air the tire. She stated that the security guard would come out and do it. The guy came out talking on the phone, walked over to the air machine and stood there talking for about 3 minutes. He looked at the car and continued talking on the phone without saying a word to me or airing up the tire. I really feel like I was discriminated against due to the fact that I was walking with a cane and he really didn't wanna do his job. Very terrible service. read more

Legit the most annoying shit ever ! I pulled up and was walking legit walking up to the window and the guy hurried and put a 10-15 min BRB sign up . Mind you he saw me walking up !!!! Never really ever thought I'd review a gas station! To be honest I check-in here more than any of my other reviews! So why not? I've never had a bad customer service experience, well except that they're always out funyons! Lol. Chevron is the highest priced fuel in that area, but it has techron.. so it's worth it right? It won't "gunk" up my engine according to the commercials! For me it's just quick and convenient! I'll keep coming back! read more

Came in for gas and after filling up, the Prius wouldn't start. Dead battery. It was stuck besides the pumps and I'd forgotten my phone. Ugh! I went inside and explained to the friendly girl at the counter. She was a huge help in contacting AAA towing etc. Normally, not much to review about a gas station, but she went above normal service to help. read more

I have utilized this station on many occasions especially when my commute to and from work was a short driving distance away. It's convenience has often been a lifesaver when I find myself forgetting that I'm almost on empty until the last minute...(Confessions of an absent minded driving zombie). I'm also grateful for the air filling station that they have available which has helped me out on many stressful occasions when my cheapo brand tires would get low. A couple of the down sides about this particular gas station is that it is almost always busy, (good for them, inconvenient for customers). Patience is not my virtue! While accessing the station is easy, exiting can be a challenge if you try to leave on the South Land Park side of the street. Since the road quickly curves out of your view, it is hard to see approaching traffic, so be quick and alert to avoid oncoming cars that most likely aren't expecting you to pull out in front of them! If you leave onto Florin Road, you have to deal with heavy traffic during rush hours or a stop light that forces vehicles to block your path. Other than these two commonly found gas station set backs, the station is maintained, the pumps are always working, and the attendants have a good view of all the pumps which gives me a nice feeling of safety when I come here at night. This here is truly not the cheapest gas in the neighborhood. I never ever buy gas from chevron. I think I can honestly say I have only bought gas here one time. I was very low and had no choice in getting home. I believe it was $10.00 whole dollars and you can probably gas my gas hand didn't move very far, but it got me home. Why you ask do I not buy gas here? I'll tell you why, they are too dang on expensive and the lines are always long. But the truth of the matter is it don't matter if nobody is Ever in line. I just refuse to pay their prices when all I have to do is go down two more lights and get it so much cheaper. And I prefer Arco gas anywho! I guess the price of this gas don't matter to some people, because they are always extremely buzy, they offer a variety here. They have the little store and the air, not to mention they are in a wonderful location.. See I know all gas station prices are different, but the gas here be like $1.00-$1.50 more than most or should I say the Arco gas. That is the one I frequent, so I can only speak on their prices. So really what we use the most here is the air for the tires whenever their low. read more

I wished I bought Chevron gas, because this gas station is closer than the one I go to. My husband comes here often to wash his windshield and go to the lil store they have here at this gas station. I think this chevron is ideal because it's in a prime location. Its right here before you enter/existing the freeway.No competition on the opposite side. I think thats great for a gas station. Plus this whole lil intersection is busy. They also have an air machine, which is always functioning. That's rare, a lot of them be broken at some gas station. Relatively clean, pumps kept in working condition. Easy access. I don't ask for much when it comes to filling up my car will the evil stuff, but this was the very first time I've ever been approached at a gas station by someone carrying The Watchtower. I do, as a rule, appreciate the dedication of JW's but maybe a little less so at 8:30AM. We exchanged pleasantries such as my respect for them for standing up to the Nazi's. Then he went to go speak with a gentleman in the next aisle wearing a yellow turban. Weirdest gas station exchange ever. I just wanted to write about a little incident that I had a few weeks ago at one of your gas stations... When filling up my tank, I noticed that it had put in more gas than I thought was usual, but it eventually stopped. When I went to go pull the nozzle out, gas began pouring quickly out of the tank (which I assume was due to a nozzle sensor being broken, and it had overfilled), down my car and all over the ground. I ran inside to notify an attendant and he began acting as though I was an idiot. He repeatedly told me that my tank was full, to which I responded "I know it's full, but gas is pouring down the side of my car and onto the ground". He then again told me my tank was all filled and that I was fine. I told him he needed to come out and take a look at what was happening. He gave me an extremely annoyed look and told me I needed to wait and to just go to my car. I went back outside where gas was still pouring out of my tank. I had to wait for a while, and when the attendant finally decided to come out, he just rushed over to my car and ONCE AGAIN told me my tank was full (which, by this point I had told him at least 5 times that I knew). He told me to put my gas cap back on, which I told him I was unsure about because there was gas pooling inside of the filler door. He then proceeded to PUT HIS FINGER into the gas and then pulled it back out looking shocked. I was completely annoyed at this point and said "I TOLD you that there was gas pooling in there!" Now, I'm not entirely sure how this situation should have been handled, but I'm absolutely positive that it was not like that. I was carefully walking around as to not cause any friction, which could lead to me creating a spark and resulting in my car/the station possibly blowing up. I've been a regular at this gas station for years, but will no longer be using Chevron gas. The attendant was extremely rude and condescending to me, and seemed inadequately trained. read more

Worst chevron ever! Stopped in to get some gas, my son had to go to the bathroom REALLY bad. He ran in to get the key and they said the bathroom didn't work??? Half way back to the car I see a lady walk out. I guess they didn't want to give an 11 yr old the key. I got gas someplace else. read more

I've been going here for years, for gas and especially coffee. I have many options for gas and more so for coffee, since this chevron is not the only one near by or the cheapest. I choose to go to a chevron because I love chevron when I'm doing road trips, they are always clean and well lit. Seems safer than the other ones and I'm glad to pay the higher rate in gas. Well this one always have different people working. As if they can't keep them. There were these great blonde girls and a young man that goes to sac city also that just made my day when I went in. However, this Marlene needs to re take a course in customer service and be cordial towards customers. She had the audacity of not only being rude and not apologizing for the long wait, but also that I have to pay .20 for my coffee when I have all the stamps in the coffee card for a free coffee. The coffee redemption cards are a bit of a perk and excitement from my long days of school and work. I always get large and medium coffees and today felt like a large to cover friday. Never have I been told I had to get a small free coffee when I'm redeeming those cards. AMPM has the card redemption promo as well. As well as Starbucks with the app. So I'm livid when she wanted .20 out of me. It's the principle of it because I'm sure I have over a dollar in change in my truck. If this is company policy, then inform your employers of that or in bold letter on the card. The gas station I always go to. I always find a spot here and doesn't take long to get gas. Kind of hard to turn right back onto Florin, I usually don't go out right from the gas station but drive down a little further into the shopping area, it's a lot easier to go back onto the road from there. read more

This gas station is always busy with long congested lines. The prices are the highest, I found in the neighborhood. The customer service however, is pleasant and helpful. Outside of the actual gas station that annoys me most, is that every time I come here random stragglers have asked me for bus money, which I know is a scam. read more
