So, I came out and told him and the tall one looked through me like I didn't say anything. Completely ignored me. The other one acknowledged me but just to pacify me. I walked out and started to put gas in my car, it wasn't giving me my promotion. So, I walked back in and the guys are wrapped up in their conversation and the tall one moves slowly towards me because he's trying to hear the rest of the story. I said, that's okay because you didn't want anything to do with me a minute ago. He walks away, the other guy comes up and says that they're 7-11. I said this is Chevron and he said the gas is. We don't know anything about the Chevron app. I walked out and figured out how to get my $1.05/per gallon. After paying $76 to fill up a sedan- you'd think the bathroom would be clean and they'd provide some kind of customer service. No thanks, just stick to AMPM across the street. They may not always have the car wash up and running but you pay less, get clean bathrooms and better customer service directly across the street from this station. Yuck to this place- on so many levels. Misogynistic and toxic behavior.

I stopped by Power Market on Laguna Boulevard on my way to kiddo school pickup, and it reminded me…read morewhy I always like coming here. This is one of the few places where I can reliably find sugar-free Red Bull in stock, which isn't always the case at other convenience stores. They also carry the harder-to-find monk fruit version, which my husband loves and is surprisingly difficult to track down. But my personal little treasure hunt here is always the candy section. Every once in a while I find my hidden gem -- the Skor bar. And for anyone thinking it's basically the same as a Heath Bar, it's not. Totally different, and not many places carry Skor anymore. Today I looked all over the store thinking they were out... until I spotted the final three bars sitting right by the cashier. Another thing I appreciate here is the staff. The super tall guy who's often working the register is always friendly and welcoming, and he consistently reminds me to use my loyalty card, which I appreciate because I would absolutely forget otherwise. They also carry Sweet Tart Ropes in a bunch of different flavors, and I always grab the "flavor of the month" aka holiday ropes when I see it. It's a small thing, but I like slipping one into my kid's lunch box as a little surprise treat--just a tiny "thinking about you, hope this makes you smile" moment during their school day. Helpful tip: Check near the register for the Skor bars if you're hunting for one--they're sometimes stocked there instead of the main candy aisle. Between the hard-to-find snacks, the fun rotating treats, and genuinely friendly service, this is one of those neighborhood convenience stops that keeps me coming back.

No customer service to speak of since it's self-serve. I wouldn't come here at night either as it's not the safest and sadly, there's been more homeless folks some of whom (not all) may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol wandering around this gas station and parking lot so definitely avoid this Chevron after dark.

From what I've read, this used to be Spinners but has been taken over by different ownership and if currently Sutterville 76. They do still have hot food inside- when we visited they had a variety of egg rolls but apparently you need to stop in earlier in the day for cinnamon rolls. It's a bit tight inside, but they pack a good amount of drinks and snacks in, including some that I haven't seen in other places. When we visited the same person as running the food counter and the regular purchase counter, so you'll need to let someone know if you're looking for the hot food. Since they were out of cinnamon rolls, we ended up buying a couple drinks and some candy- we found Squashies here. Rolls were 6.95 each, croissant must have been avout 5 as my total was 20.40,price is a little high, but I was very happy that the quality is still fantastic The cinnamon with walnuts was just drilping with buttery richness and sweet, thus the walnuts playing a much needed role in cutting the sweetness. The Apple filled was maybe a notch below, but still fantastic. Ham and Swiss croissant reheated quite nicely and was a great savory bite. Im very happy that the quality hasn't changed with the new owners, I will return !
