Pulled up to the station, the station was on auto-pilot and I pumped my own gas. Quick note: Apparently, in the past, Oregon had a law requiring an attendant pump your gas for you, I was pleasantly surprised that this was no longer the case. I pumped my own gas; it was reasonably priced based on the comparable prices that showed up on Yelp. The station seemed quite clean and the pump worked well. The pump spit out a receipt (which is handy if you are travelling) or need further proof if the Car Rental place tries to charge you for gas! Seamless experience!

I live in town, and prefer to walk when I can. As such, I sometimes need to take a moment to rearrange and readjust whatever I may be carrying. I stopped in at the 76, grabbed a few drinks, and few other items, paid, then proceeded outside to arrange my purchases for the walk home. I walked over to the corner, so as to not be in the way of the pumps, and some apparent work being done on the underground storage tanks. It took me less than 3 minutes to get myself situated for my walk, but it was enough time for the kid to come over and tell me I was loitering, and he would call the law if I didn't move it along! If that is how a customer is treated after spending nearly $30 in store on actual profit bearing purchases, that taking 3 minutes extra time in their lot, is enough to get the law called on you...I can guarantee I won't be spending my money in there ever again!

I purchased a cup of coffee for $3 and told the older man his pot was empty. After my coffee purchase I parked across the Texaco parking lot next to street to drink my coffee at 2pm in a shaded spot that clearly had a sign that said Texaco Customer Parking only, the same man walked up to my car and said I've been there for an hour and had to leave when it was only 20 minutes, I said I'm a customer, he said you bought one cup of coffee, you have to leave, I said really, you just lost a customer, I then moved across the street in front of Home Health Chiropractic and he proceeded to walk across the street stating "did you say something" he then got another heavy set man and they stared at me for 10 plus minutes until my wife came out of her appt. and we pulled away, this was clearly a racist attack as I am full blooded Native American and Marine Vet. There were no other cars in the parking lot, I will never go to this Texaco station again and will share my experience with all social media.
