This place sucks, pee on the side of the road and wait longer to get gas.

A small convenience store at the corner of 4th and Adams. I've never been sure whether the place…read moreis called "Adams Market" because it's at the intersection with Adams, is called "Adam's Market" after someone named Adam, or is called "Adam Market" as it's sometimes rendered in other online results. The great thing about this place is the owner, who is jolly and sarcastic and funny, although his wit does tend to run a little absurd and not a little dry. Almost as great, though, is the selection of Middle Eastern foods. It's a great place to stock up on boxes of mahmouls for cheap, or to get tins of stuffed grape leaves, which are a vastly better snack than the paltry selection of heavily-processed junk food. Fresh, but limited, but huge, baklavah. The real wonder, though, is a small row of sodas in the back. Not the fancy burdock-and-ass English stuff, but the selection of Lebanese fruit sodas by Kazouza, the best of which is the watermelon. None of them are HFCS-loaded crap, but the watermelon nonetheless captures the fanciful watermelon flavor of something like a Jolly Rancher without being too cloying (at least, for the first few bottles.) It's so wonderful. Like, it completely changed my view of carbonated beverages. It's also a reliable place to get ayran, which is good when the Kazouza gets too sickly-sweet. Also, the brand of ayran they stock is also very useful as a yogurt culture, and at least with the milk from my goats that I tried it with, it resulted in some absurdly-thick and wonderful stuff. Some of the staff other than the owner can be a bit grumpy or difficult, and some of them are quite sweet and outgoing. Still, it's hard to fault the gruff ones. It's the most centrally-located and only late-night convenience store in downtown Olympia. It's a great place to rub shoulders with people who are drunk at noon and people who are far gone in the middle of the night. It really functions as Olympia's only Middle Eastern market. International Spice and Halal used to carry much of the same stuff, and since it closed and its owner moved on to other things, this is the best place to go. And it does a good job of that, while also doing a good job of being a convenience store. A very cool place. Near and dear to my heart.

Yo... Why is this dude writing a decent review about a gas station? Because, they both filled up…read moreour gas tank when needed, and had an impressive array of ice cream available when my better half had a hankering for some Ben & Jerry's! Located just outside the parking lot at great Wolf Lodge, they have set themselves up nicely for those tracking back home, and who need to fill up before doing so. In addition, for those of us who need to Stock up on ice cream before going back to the room, they also feel that niche as well! After my better half requested some Ben & Jerry's, I figured this was the best place to look and boy was I right! They had a dozen or so flavors of everyone's favorite Carb with plenty of candy swimming inside. End of the day, anywhere that I can buy tonight dough and phish food is okay. They also had a surprising number of microbrews available. It was about 8 o'clock in the morning when I discovered this, so not a lot of beer was procured, however it's good to know for next time! We did find that the hot chocolate was particularly good, with a sugar to liquid ratio that was considerably higher than expected, much to the delight of all of the kids! As with the neighboring restaurant, this place was quite the surprise in an area where I assumed everything was going to be severely overpriced and the selection limited, simply due to the clientele. We were pleasantly surprised with what we found and will definitely plan to hit them up again in the future!

Most of the time, there is no window washing fluid. I've tried to tell a few workers. They don't care. In the end, this place really only cares about selling cheap cigs.

I shop here frequently and appreciate most of the staff. I'm friendly with many regulars, and the…read morelocation is incredibly convenient since I live just up the street. However, the owners seriously need to reevaluate their pricing strategy. I was utterly shocked when I stopped in to buy a gallon of milk for an outrageous $6.00. Typically, milk is around $3.00 per gallon in any grocery store, and I noticed this store carries the same brand that Costco sells for $3.98 for two gallons. This pricing is unacceptable, and even a staff member expressed disbelief at the cost. I told them $6.00 is too expensive and speculated that the owners must be throwing away a lot of milk since no one in their right mind would pay that price. Unfortunately, you've just lost a longtime customer who has spent considerable money at your store for the sake of convenience. Moving forward, that convenience isn't worth the excessive prices you're charging. You need to do better, especially since your primary clientele consists of local customers. If you priced items more fairly, considering the needs of your community, you'd likely see an increase in business. Greed does not reflect well on a local business. Until your prices align with the value of what you're selling, I won't be back for any convenience items.
