I ended up waiting closer to half an hour. When I brought this up with the supervisor, she said that the wait time is only an estimate. I understand. So I suggested that they not promise to have a prescription ready in ten or fifteen minutes but that they give a more reasonable time--like half an hour. Instead of acknowledging what I was saying and even apologizing for the extra long wait the supervisor got defensive. I have had this happen at this CVS (Sahara and Valley View) get defensive repeatedly. I see why CVS has such a low rating. Unfortunately the nearby Walgreens isn't much better--or even worse. Not everyone in the pharmacy is equally rude. But the supervisor certainly has shown herself to be rude and so have some of the other personnel. What the supervisor should know is that she could have diffused a tense situation with a simple apology and acknowledgment of my inconvenience. That would have de-escalated the situation.
