This is a very convenient gas station. At 5 AM, after being out with friends, I needed to stop by the restroom and to grab a drink for the road home. While most places were closed, or had their restrooms closed, this place provided all needed commodities. The place is pretty well kept. There are two fast food joints within the convenience store, and a well stocked assortment of snacks. I grabbed an iced tea and drove home. Now, as I wait in bumper to bumper traffic on the 110 south because some drunk caused a major accident, I can think back on the excellent customer service this place provided. This has always been a good Chevron station since I lived in North Hollywood back in the days. It's on a busy highway of Sherman Way and Whitsett. I stopped here to use my card, and I filled my tank. Place has been a little remolded since I was last here. Only problem I have with this Chevron location is the amount of space sometimes. It can become overcrowded here at a certain time of day. After a current experience this business now gets 1. First of all most of their pumps weren't working and wanted us to pay inside. Secondly be aware of their car wash. It will malfunction is someone who doesn't know the meaning of putting the car into neutral and not hitting the breaks. They dont have a manager on duty when asked for one. What kind of a business has no manager on duty? When serious things happen you all need a manager to run things. They either lied or they just don't know who the manager is. Hello ALL, I'd like to share my horrible story about the CAR WASH. The rude supervisor Mansor and the OWNER. I went into the car wash as I have many times before and long story short my rear view mirror got damaged. (ALL CAUGHT ON CAMERA BY THE WAY) My light popped off and you can clearly see me getting out of the car and looking confused as to what just happened since my car had NO damage on that mirror. Long story short I went in to speak with the supervisor and that led no where. He claimed I had damages before and that I was pretending that it happened at the car wash. You can clearly see in the cameras all of that was false. After a very long discussion turned into argument I was fed up and contacted the "OWNER" except the owners business card had the gas stations number not his number which was completely useless to me. After getting no where I went as far as to contact Chevrons HQ and make an official compliant. I received an email over two weeks later from the owner and he claimed that my rear view mirror had damages prior according to this video (which they refuse to show me by the way)... I had to pay for my damage rear view mirror and my blinker light since that got damaged in the wash. These people are AWFUL and are LIARS. They didn't think I would go so far as to contact HQ but this is the principal of the matter. I'm hoping Chevron tales matters into their own hands since I'm clearly not the only person whose experienced DAMAGES on my car at this location according to Yelp. I don't care, I'm here for the gas. I love that there are a bajillion stations so I rarely ever have to wait for one. Since my commute home takes between 1 to 1.5 hours, this location is conveniently on the way home and they have restrooms inside the small Food Mart that you can use without asking for a key. Yessss! And yes, the machines do ask you questions but it's not as bad as some reviews make it out to be. I believe it's only 3 questions (maybe there's a debit/credit question too) 1)Are you a Vons member 2)Do you want a car wash 3)Do you want a receipt See, that wasn't so bad was it...? I got my car washed today, and my car wasn't properly on the conveyor, so the rim of my tire was scraped and warped. When I called the store, the owner rudely told me that it "wasn't his responsibility" because he "put up a sign." This is definitely his responsibility when you do not see the sign until after you purchase a car wash at the pump. I hope that whoever reads this review takes this into caution because the damage could be much worse, the $12 car wash will end up costing MUCH more. This Chevron is neat and clean, the pumps work, it is well stocked and has a Mexican Restaurant inside. The staff is friendly and efficient. For this 4 Stars. What I don't like is that many times the music outside is blaring so loudly you can't hear yourself think let alone finish a conversation on the phone or with another person - that has got to stop!!! What is the worse than the music though, is the 20 questions you have to answer at the pump before you can get gas. They need a button that says "I just want to buy gas" and leave it at that. The Vons Points thing is a pain in the butt,it asks for your vons number and if you put your number in, but don't have points you have to start over, so I just skip that. I love this gas station because of the car wash and the little cafe they have. I have needed to review for a while now. The car wash is 10.00 dollars. It is a cheap automatic wash and dry. After you get done there is ample vaccuums and room to vaccuum and clean your car. I like to do most of the cleaning myself and there is no time limit. There always seems to be plenty or room. There is a little cafe inside. It is not a 5 star restaurant but it does the job. Plus the fresh conbread muffins are out of this world. I love this place. read more

This is my local gas station and I have a subscription for their car wash. Everyone in the car wash department is friendly and always helpful but the night shift staff inside the store are terrible. Specifically team member Majod. I came in with a low tire and requested for the air machine to turn on. (03/09/2018) Majod was on the cashier and on his phone when I came in. I asked him if he can please turn on the machine but he just waved me off. I went outside and the machine was not on. When I came back in he gave me attitude and was very unprofessional.
