Wow!…read more Located to the far south of our beautiful Las Vegas valley this convenient store is that sparkling gem that is the answer to all of our prayers. Whether just starting that road trip or in the process of an incredible journey all of an individuals needs can be met here! It's been a minute since I've been in an Arco, let me pass along sound advice this one's worth a gander! As most of us prepare for our said excursion and get the car packed, that first stop out or in town is always planned for a the local convenient store. Everyone has a favorite one where the snacks and coffee are best! This is going to be my new favorite! Just the feel of the store from the parking lot has radical waves. If our road trip was to California then this store would be totally gnarly dude, ok brows. Unfortunately there are no waves or sand planned today! As we take that walk from the parking lot to the front doors the outside of the Arco has all that colorful signage that explains the details of new products or current promotions going on to save us some dough. The door to enter the store is a sliding door, so no awkward pulling of when I exit carrying all my loot! After walking through the middle of the store, I cannot help but notice how big this store is for a convenient store. When you walk through the different aisles their is so much room. No running into displays or awkward passing of other customers. The store has that new clean smell, even though it's been here for awhile. That means the store is "really really" truly clean. Theirs no faking genuine clean. Oh the burgers here at Arco AMPM, they are legendary. If you have sampled the burgers here you know what I'm celebrating. For those that are just finding out about these meat treats, now you have the information needed to go procure one. The cheeseburgers were beyond amazing, plus it seems a decade since I enjoyed one! We loaded our cheeseburgers with mustard, relish, and extra pickle. Pickles are essential to achieving that delicate balance between meat and cheese. Glad they had plenty of pickles in stock for this trip. Smiling, smiling, and cheerfulness did I just win big! No it's Team Arco! From when we walked through the door to dressing up our burgers the glee from the crew is contagious. You know that warm hearted smile that you make between a dog and their owner, such compassion. That is how I would compare the looks the staff has between each other, then they pass that same quality onto the customers when they look at them! One could get positive energy from the glows of the employees here. When I checked out the cashier demonstrated over and over again such courtesy. Asking me questions about my visit, their store, and such. One could not fake these qualities. While leaving the store I was thanked for coming and wished well by three different employees. Boy, whom ever trains the employees here should write a book, it would be a best seller! Loving the fun and playful professional presence that the employees share this is worth a trip out of my way. I know where the best and delicious soy cheeseburgers are with such great prices. The store is superb when it comes to cleaning, it would make mom proud. Not to mention when I ask the clerk behind the counter is rude and say we don't carry them anymore, seriously!!! So we pay for a deluxe car wash. And we don't get towels to dry. Nice! Then on top of it they have these hanging vacuums that have no air coming out. Some don't even have holes connected to them. Every time I come they have more and more missing. This will be my last time coming. For sure!!! Worst experience. I will be going across the street from now on.

Never in my life have I ever heard that or have been denied service because i used a passport instead of a driver's license, specially in Las Vegas , a tourist town. He said with an attitude, quote "since I cant scan your passport , I cant sell it to you". Which is totally a lie and more than anything gave racist vibes. Ive been coming to that chevron for over 5 years and never experienced that, since I live in the area. I was just there yesterday buying some beer and the other guy that has a disability looked at my passport and manually input my birthday like they do at every other gas station. Paul acted like the scanner is the only way he can verify age. I went across the street to Circle K and they had no problem accepting my passport, like any gas station. I even asked the clerk at Circle K, if he has ever heard that and he laughed and said no thats ridiculous. I will also be contacting corporate because what he did is not ok and can be considered a form of discrimination.

On my way out to head back home to So Cal, I stopped for gas at Costco. It's a huge gas station with 16 gas pumps. It has the green and red light indicators for available and occupied pumps. Nice! Very clean place. Aisles are spacious which is great. A pet peeve of mine is having to squeeze through the aisle to get to a pump or to get out of the station. I rather wait. There was barely any lines at the time which was a surprise actually. It may have been later in the evening. Not complaining. I'll take barely any lines any time of the day. It was a very quick visit. Tap credit card, pump gas, and go! Gas prices at Costco are usually one of the lowest around town. Thank you Costco Gas!
