I can't speak for the gas station, but I despise the car wash. Raise the price to $35 for Gold wash and do a worst job!?! Unacceptable! Sign says wax is included but doesn't do anything to rain spots. I know it's not a full wax, but if spots come off the windows when I rub them with my finger, spray wax and window cleaner should at least take them off. They didn't even vacuum my back seat. Do not go to this car wash!! I went for a basic wash the girl said I have a special ($100) we'll do everything on the outside and inside including cleaning seat and window plus car freshener. They did a basic car was, used chemicals that damaged the rubber on my windows, didn't clean the seats, and so much more. Yes I said something about the seats they seemed annoyed about it and then the fragrance they forgot to put wash just some weird liquid in a spray bottle that they did two spritz of. I didn't notice the rubber on my window. They did say I could come back but I wouldn't let them touch my car again. HORRIBLE. It's also illegal to lie about pricing and services. read more

This is the last time I will be coming here. Had my "car wash" on Saturday morning. I emptied out the back seat so they would have no problems getting at it. I should not have bothered. They didn't. The backseat was untouched and the sides of the door still had dust on them. They put little to no effort and I paid $31.99 and gave a $5 tip before I realized what a crap job she did. The price for an oil change is reasonable especially since I need full synthetic, and it comes with a full car wash. I didn't have time for a car wash so they gave me a rain check to come back whenever I needed. I am shocked by the myriad of 1-star ratings for Westside! I've been coming here for years and have VERY few complaints. Once upon a time I was preparing for an overseas move and was hoping to ship my beloved 1991 Volvo 240, but the delivery service was worried that I had fluids leaking. Since the car was so old, they were not able to pinpoint where the leak(s) was coming from, so they suggested I get an engine steam clean. I had never heard of such a thing, but lo and behold, it's a REAL thing and Westside did a terrific job! I ultimately ended up NOT shipping that car across an ocean, but when I drove it to visit family in Mississippi, my cousin was SHOCKED at how beautiful and shiny the engine was! More recently, I have entrusted my new baby, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, to the fine folks at Westside. Every time I come here, I am beyond embarrassed at the shape this car is in--dog hair, sand, mud stains, bugs galore, you name it. Maybe this is why I think $30 for an exterior and interior wash (oh and that's before the military discount) is a heck of a deal and I find myself tipping generously as a partial apology for having the worst car they'll see all day. Have there been times that they've missed a mud spot or a dog-lick mark on the back window? Yes, but I am not going to crucify them for missing 0.01 percent of the wackadoo craziness I come in with. The service inside and out, from beginning to end, is ALWAYS friendly and I'm just grateful Westside is still here after all these years (and despite so many apparent haters). My only suggestions: 1) Clean cloths--some of the rags smell mildewy, so I have to drive with the sunroof open and all windows down to get that smell out; and 2) Move the greeting cards away from the window so customers can see when their car is ready. read more

Two weeks ago I came home after my wash and saw they did not vacuum the dog hair off my back seat. Today returned again and specifically asked the girl who vacuums to be sure and get the back seat. When my car was done I checked and the back seat still had dog hair. The guy who dried my car tried to remove it with his gloves, but I still had to vacuum myself once I got home. I know dog hair can be hard to remove, but seriously, you have industrial vacuums and it just takes a bit more effort. I should not have to clean my back seat myself when I get home after paying $35 for a wash. On another note, I was hit up for money by homeless while waiting for my car to be done. I went to west side last week to get my car washed before I went on my vacation! The car looked ok but I didn't check inside the back (I have an suv) my mistake, until I went to pack my luggage! The floor had been vacuumed but the sides of the back had not been touched! So I came back when I got home from my trip and tried to explain to the gentleman that waited on me what was wrong! He walked away and came back with a "discount" to get my car washed again! I said I don't want another car wash I just want you to clean what didn't get cleaned before! It's been a while since I have taken my car to get washed, usually I do it myself. It is summer time though and I figured I would relax and get mine and my fiancé's cars washed. They do a decent enough job, but during both of my trips I was approached by strange men. One simply asking for money because he was homeless (my second trip he purchased a pack of cigarettes with the money he had collected) and the second time someone who may have either had a disability or was on some kind of drugs. I finally walked away and stood by my car while the attendant finished drying it and wiping the inside or the windshield and the man approached me again. The whole thing made me very uncomfortable and I know it's not the car wash workers job to tell vagrants to leave their clients alone but I feel like chevron as a company could do a little more to make their customers feel safe. Clearly this is not an uncommon occurrence. Especially when it happened to me twice in one day. Hire security or something. As for the car wash itself, in all honestly I could have done a better job at home, myself. They do better than the automatic car washes and the prices aren't bad. read more

Absolute waste of money, I would have done it myself if I knew it would look so half-assed. That's even saying a lot. They didn't vacuum, my mats looked like they took a baby wipe and smeared the dirt all around it. There was still stickiness ALL over my cup holders and around. Dirt everywhere still. I got an oil change with free car wash? He said he filled all fluids but there was no window washer fluids when I tried later???? When I got the car, there was popcorn and straw wrappers between my seat. I didnt think to take pictures. I will next time. I guess proof is in the pictures right. Stuff was still under the seats so they must not check there. It took almost two hours for everything. There were crazy busy. To prevent things being stolen I clean my change out the ashtray and put everything in the trunk. Or in a bag with me. Better safe than sorry. Sorry so many people complain about stuff being stolen. There is nothing quick about this quick lube. First I went in for oil change and the signs says 39.99 for oil change but they don't mention the five dollar fee for disposing if your oil so after taxes it really comes out to almost fifty dollars. Even with a free car wash that's still expensive. Then it took an hour and a half !! Then you have to pay in the gas station and the cashiers are inept at best. Waste of time. read more

I spent a total of about an hour, maybe a little longer waiting, but it's a big job and most of that time was a mini-detail of the car. This place is horrible!! I had just bought my car from the dealership a week before I took took it in for a car wash. I took it in because it rained during the week and I wanted my car to be clean for the weekend. When they called me up to let me know that my car was ready, I noticed that there was a fresh new scratch on the driver side. The paint even looked lifted and it was noticeable that it was just done. Then the worker tried to smooth it out with a cloth and polish. When the scratch didn't go away he called the owner Carlos. I explained to the owner that I had just purchased my car and I had not driven my car anywhere because I work from home. He then told me that he can see that I had just bought it because the purchase sticker was on the front windshield with the date on it. Unethical, extortionist business practices. DO NOT patronize this location. I prepaid for a car wash at the gas pump and the car wash attendant charged me an additional $5. I have been a long time customer and came today to fill up my gas tank and get a wash on my GMC Yukon (which I rarely do at the same time). When I swiped my card at the gas pump terminal, it asked me if I wanted a car wash today? I selected the Gold Wash and it charged me a discounted rate of $21.99 instead of $24.99 (see photo of white receipt). I filled up, then pulled up to the car wash attendant and he takes my gas pump receipt, goes to his computer, then closes back and hands me another receipt charging me an additional $5. I ask him why he's charging me more and he gives me the below average IQ salute by shrugging his shoulders and walking away. I go to the cashier and explain the situation. The young blonde tweaker looking cashier asks me..."Well do you have a truck or SUV?" I said yes. She says, "that's why." I said, that's funny, no other gas station I've been to up-charges my car wash after I pre-pay for it at the pump. Why don't you program your pumps to prompt the customer for that option instead of extorting them for an additional $5 after they've been enticed to put the discounted price at the pump. The guy who dried my car scratched the passenger side door with his belt buckle (why would you have a belt buckle on while drying people's cars?).
