I love love love this gas station, but fear it may have closed during this pandemic. Consistently…read morelow prices and never super busy - I made sure to fill up whenever I was on my way to Bothell or Woodinville. The only place with cheaper gas in the area is at the Safeway in Kenmore/Bothell. They have an easy tire filling station if your tires need refilling and are conveniently located off Bothell Way NE. If you're going west you'll need to hang a u-turn at 61st to get in but other than that it's very convenient!

After the remodel, you cannot pull in…read morehere if your filling side is the right side, because there is exactly seven feet of clearance between the pumps and the new short wall to the left, meaning instant damage. Before, I could slide in here off Bothell Highway at 30 MPH, but now, you have to make a complete stop in the highway, position your car, turn at just the right angle, go about 3 MPH for a few feet, stop again and then very precariously line your car up with the 7-foot wide "alley" between the wall and the pump. Very uncomfortable, and dangerous, as there is no way to get out of your vehicle without damaging your door. NOT ENOUGH MANEUVERING ROOM. That's why I don't come here any more, YOU CAN'T PULL IN IF YOUR GAS FILL IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE. If your gas fill is on the left, then no problem; then you have some room to work with, but otherwise YOU WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE IF YOU PULL INTO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE PUMPS BECAUSE OF THE SHORT CONCRETE WALL THAT WAS PUT THERE, by some "genius." Unbelievable, people. Really sad.

I don't frequent this side of the hill that often…read more The prices for gas here seem to run a little bit higher than others, and I don't know if this one is still an independently owned station or a corporate owned one anymore. It has changed ownership a few times in the last several years. It's the prices on the inside that kill it. Sodas, smokes, and various grabbies you might get at a place like this are *dollars* more than anywhere else. Not cents, DOLLARS. With other stations, convenience stores and grocery stores super close by along Juanita Drive, it's worth it to avoid this place and go to the other guys instead. A recent vehicle accident sent a car through one of their pumps, into the building and all also caught fire. They are back open for business during repairs and such, so perhaps they will upgrade a few items (pumps, interior) and clean the place up a little better due to that. Not awful, but just not worth it when you live somewhere with so many other choices so close by.

Some people don't understand, that small, independent gas stations cannot set their own prices…read more All make about the same markup, and that is controlled by the oil companies. They are still making the same margin as when I worked in a gas station in the early 70s. So don't blame the gas station operators, blame the oil companies. The owner used to run Park Oil, which was a major supplier of heating oil to customers in the area. He is friendly as is the staff. I am all for supporting neighborhood businesses. It only costs me an extra 50 cents to dollar to fill up here as opposed to the corporate gas stations elsewhere. And as long as the pumps are lit, they will take your credit or debit card for gas - so they are in essence an all night gas station unless you want to pay cash. UPDATE: The business has been for sale for a while. Rumor has it that a deal was finally struck and it will be torn down to build a small strip mall, with $tarbuck$ as the major tennant.
