As a result the place still feels new, is bright and has a lot going on. The bathrooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained. The people behind the counter are usually nice ladies, and there are multiple areas to pay for things. Thus, no lines and even when things are busy, it never feels crowded. Aside from the attached Whataburger, they have their own line of hot (mainly fried) foods from potato wedges to fried chicken. "Crispidos" are their local claim to fame and basically giant fried taquitos. It's most definitely crispy and filling, and I can see why people enjoy them so much. This is also a trucker sanctuary, equipped with gas stations and parking spots for semi-trucks, as well as a lounge and shower area. The rest of the shop has all of the road trip essentials from little snacks, cold drinks, and plenty of "Texas" souvenirs. Lastly, it's a Tesla Supercharger destination. I've yet to see the lot full, but 15 chargers means there's plenty to go around for everyone.
