My go-to for simple car rinse. It does the job as i'm not too picky about getting every single dust and spot off my car. This one is touchless which means the only thing that touches your car is soap, water, air & wax-depending on the types of wash you choose. The line can get kind of long if you go later during the day so best to go early in morning to avoid long waits. You can pay inside with cashier or purchase right at drive thru machine. Worst Chevron Car wash ever. The car wash is frequently out of service. But this last visit, the car wash washed half the car in front of me because the water was gushing from a broken hose like a busted fire hydrant. I told the attendant who said, "No one else complained about a broken car wash so I can't refund your $14 car wash." Ummm, dude, I just watched the car in front of me leave half washed with bubbles all over it. He wanted me to take my car in to show him... Yeah- no thanks, pretty sure having soap dry on my black paint isn't the best plan. In the end, I wasted 20 minutes and lost my $14. The worst gas station in the Town of Danville! I was in the store trying to get an extra tank of propane. Upon checking out, I was shocked that the price was $76 and I just paid without thinking. Then I came to realize it was way too expensive and I asked if I could get a refund if I return the empty tank. The attendant started to become really rude and said no. I wanted to change my mind by asking for a refund. The attendant refused and said it was too late for a refund! What?! I haven't even left the store and my hands haven't even touched the tank yet. I had no choice in the end but to leave the store with an expensive tank of propane. Lessons learned. I would give 0 stars for their service and will continue to boycott this location. read more

Gas here is expensive but that doesn't matter to me and my Bolt EV as it is an electric car! That being said, I went here for the car wash! Prices start at $8.00 for this touch-less car wash. I don't often write reviews but the old man working here is one of the most insufferable and rude pieces of shit I have ever come across. I occasionally come here to buy beer or snacks and if I ever purchase alcohol this man literally makes a snide comment about booze under his breath and then laughs. He did this today and I loudly said "What was that?" so that the long line of customers this depressing old man is holding up could hear. He pretended like he didn't say anything and then asked me for my birthday. I'm in my 30s and he purposely misheard me to say "did you say you were born in 1957?" This dude is weird and sick minded and I've seen him be a complete dick to several other people. Will never give this store my money again after tonight--I am very understanding of customer service jobs and what it takes the work them, but this man is downright rude and gives off a huge creep vibe. This Chevron location has the touchless wash. It's easy in and out. (We used to go to Texaco down the way after we shopped at Safeway. But it was a little more run down and coming out of the wash, you need to be careful of scratching your wheels). read more

When buying the car wash during fill up, always get the car wash before the expiration date on the receipt. I have bought the car wash several times, and every time I go on the date of the expiration (which should still be valid), the code is "invalid" when I type the code in the car wash console. It becomes quite frustrating because I had already waited in line for 30 minutes with the three cars in front of me. I had to intercom the cashier, then go inside to get a new code. It is embarrassing making everyone, who is behind me in the car wash line, wait. Not very happy. On top of that, their gas prices are usually 12 cents higher than other chevron gas stations within a 5 mile radius. I went to a wedding last Saturday in the area and stopped by here for cigarettes. They revamped the food mart here and it's so much better now. They offer a much wider range of products. The only crappy thing about coming here was that I only had a hundred and they wouldn't take it, so I had to charge the cigs. Other than that, this is a great gas station! read more

It may not be super cheap gas, but then I have yet to discover cheap gas anywhere near this section of Camino Tassajara, and the price is comparable to the others in this area. What makes this station stand out for me is the Extra Mile convenience store. It is large and clean and very well stocked. The soda fountain has three flavors of diet soda - Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Dr. Pepper - and 3 flavors of icee! And they have just about every kind of energy drink I can think of! They even carry five flavors of Takis corn chips. If you don't know what Takis are you're really missing out! The people who work here are always friendly and helpful and the bathrooms are clean. just bought gas yesterday. it was 2.99 for regular. thats pretty reasonable against all other gas stations subtract costco. competitive price with lots of pumps. clean fast no problems. chevron with techron. has a convenience store to buy a burnt hot dog or some energy drinks. mcdonalds is nearby in the plaza next door. signal lights so its not hard to get out after pumping gas. car wash too but i personally never tried it. i like washing my own car. satisfaction! read more

I am highly disappointed in this station. My 2 star rating is directly related to my recent experience with the car wash. I discovered that this station has a touchless car wash recently. Last Friday, I drove by on my way home. The entrance to the car wash was coned off. I went in to ask why and was told they called a repair person 4 hours ago to come and repair the car wash. I then went back on Sunday and the car wash was still coned off in the middle of the day. Tonight (Tuesday), I drove by, anxious to have my car washed at last and arrived as one of the attendants was putting the cones behind a car in line. I rolled down my window and asked the attendant if the car was closed at a certain time (there are no hours posted) and he mumbled something to the effect of, "yeah, its closed". I have never seen an automatic car washed closed at a certain time (it was 8PM). At this point, I am unsure if I will return. I know there are a lot of car washes out there but this one is very conveniently located to my home and the only touchless car wash for miles. They have two registers and never have them both operating during the busy times when I am there. I'm surprised... this station is 99% of the time up to 5 cents cheaper than the chevron at 680/bollinger or 680/crow canyon. I'm lucky to have my choice of chevrons nearby. But I'm baffled, why don't they charge the rich people more? Also the most crowded time is Saturday morn/afternoon where all 12 (I think) pumps are occupied. This station is always clean (I guess all Chevron stations are though) and I feel safe here as nobody has approached me for anything while I am pumping gas....this happens a lot at other stations in my experience either by people wanting something or selling something.
