What a miserable gas station (beyond what is normally miserable at any station). This wretched place is always slammed busy, slowed by incompetent staff, and burdened with broken pumps. Sometimes, I'll drive miles away just to avoid this shit hole. Get gas elsewhere so this place can just shut down and start over. read more

The website says they have diesel but they do not. Drive all the way over just to have to scramble and find a new gas station when I was already running late. Why advertise something you do not sell? read more

I don't know if it's just me or if anyone else has experienced this but their pumps can't read any of my cards. It's been like this the last few times I've come here (not by choice, just in the area). Then you go inside and it's hit or miss, sometimes the line is short and other times it's long. How do you have 3-4 people working and 1 register open?! What is this, Walmart?! read more

Went in today to use a gift card 4 nice ladies working and all the registers are down! They immediate go to Spanish and have to close the store for approximately 3-4 hours!!!! I feel bad for them, however, in today's world how do you not have a backup system! In my day we use to have this issue and could still scan a credit card with carbon paper and keep people not stranded!!!! read more

Fix your card machine for the car wash. Waited 20 mins then when it was my turn, the card machine didn't work! The person behind me got out of their car and told me I had to pay inside. Waste of time and no point in going back around since a line started to form. read more

Manager is extremely rude. All of the workers there wear their name tags except for the manager. She doesn't because she doesn't want to be identified. I waited in line, and she pretended to be so busy that she didn't want to assist her worker with guest in line. When I approached, she walked away. I proceeded with my lottery tickets and had so many that she had no choice to assist because the line was getting longer. She yelled out to the other customers, "there's a self-service checkout over there. Guess she didn't want to help them or do her job. So, while I was being helped by the clerk she said under her breath "Just Go." and I heard her and asked her did you say something to me? She replied, "Why would I say something to you. I said to her "I heard you, and you're f!@king rude. I asked the clerk to speak to the manager, and she said, "She's the manager." I then asked the clerk for information for the owner because someone is over her, "She has a boss." I returned to the store because I felt that she needed to be put on report so I videotaped her and asked for her name which she didn't reply and I told her that she was being recorded and will be put on yelp, TikTok and YouTube, because people need to know how rude she is. In the past, I ignored the fact that one of the clerks, I think her name is Maria, on several occasions shut down the lottery machine because she didn't want to deal with it. I know this because the neighboring stores said they didn't close or shut theirs down at 10pm. The customer service at this local service station Chevron 2115 Olympic Pkwy needs better representation at this location. If she doesn't want to do her job, find a replacement. There are plenty of people who would/could do better. read more

Extremely rude employee yelled at my poor mother when the carwash broke down while she was inside it. Apparently she "wasn't doing it right" even thought the light was green. Zero patience or respect. Oh, and the carwash didn't even work .. the car came out even dirtier than before lol! I wish there was another gas station near my house this one is terrible, I rather spend my money somewhere where employees are nicer and respectful of costumers so from now on I will drive the extra mile to go to a different gas station just to avoid this one. read more

it is not law to decline sale to me because i do not want my identification scanned. i do not know where that information is being stored, or if any third parties have access to my information. i will gladly take my business elsewhere until y'all stop that. also, y'all are always packed with all the little old people wanting to check their 50 power ball receipts like this is a gas station not a casino pls move tf along. & don't get me started on how slow the workers move!! read more

Very bad service, the car wash payment machine is not working, I waited in line for 3 cars and another person and my self could pay we had to go inside and pay, there is not a sign to let us know to pay inside They just laugh about it Waste of time! read more

This Chevron is located in the same shopping center as Walmart. It's usually plagued with long lines and drivers with road rage, trying to just slide next to one of 8 pumps. It's just hell when even one of the pumps aren't working. Today, there were three out of order. WTF? The best time to come is during the weekdays, in the morning. Forget the weekend or after work. It's all kinds of chaos, with folks trying to shop at Walmizart, going to the bank/credit union or Starbucks. Even going into and out of the gas station is pretty hairy, with crazy drivers all around. Not the best choice for gas. I prefer going to the Shell located in the same center as Target, located a few blocks north on Eastlake Pkwy. More pumps, even if it can get just as busy. But still, a tad bit easier to maneuver around. read more

They get my consistent business because they are the closest station to my house and they do put a great deal of effort into their business. Positives: They have a mini-mart, car warsh and most importantly - gas. They work hard on keeping the place clean, picking up trash and touching up the immediate grounds. Negatives: Strangely they run out of gas a lot! read more

I don't understand why cashiers at gas stations have to be so rude. Lines are long and they just act like they hate their jobs. Had an issue with a horrible attitude with an employee. Reminds me why I don't come here. read more

It is a pain in the a** to pull out of this gas station, let me tell you. You have people driving from out of it, into it, and to and from all the other businesses around it. Be very careful, especially at night because some people don't even pay attention. On the plus side, this gas station has a ton of pumps. Average priced and conveniently located near the Otay Ranch shopping center and WalMart. Get your shopping on but don't forget to fill up your tank before driving home! read more

I found this gem after getting lost and ending up 3 hours away from my intended destination. I had ran out of gas and my phone was pretty much dead. It's safe to say that I was about to lose my mind. This Chevron has everything that you'd need: gas, snacks, drinks, and OTC medicine. Andrew (I believe that's his name? Mid-twenties, Filipino), the only worker present there at the time, turned my night around 100%. My family owns a business and I can tell lazy from hard working workers, and Andrew definitely is one of the latter. If he wasn't tending to one of the customers, he'd be doing inventory. Always on the move, and with a smile on his face too! He was incredibly friendly and helpful with everyone that came into the store. If I didn't know better, I would have thought that he personally knew everyone. He let me charge my phone at the store for 2-3 hours. Made little conversation - enough to make me feel safe and comfortable but not too much to a point where I felt creeped out. God knows what would have happened to me if it wasn't for him. To Andrew's boss, that worker is an EXCELLENT one. I've never commented on a gas station before, don't really see the point, but I had to after the amazing customer service Andrew delivered. read more

I paid to fill my tank and was supposed to be refunded money back on my card and after a month and a half nothing. The employees haven't been able to help me both times I've gone in read more

Get gas and get harassed. Every time I fill up, there's someone there selling candy, giving a story of how they're trying to buy this or that or just directly asking for cash. Even with an employee putting up yellow tape on a broken pump and watching a guy go up to each person pumping gas, nothing. They let it happen. read more

I was having trouble pumping gas because the machine was not taking my credit card. I was clearly frustrated that it told me for the second time I was there that I needed to go inside to use my credit card. An employee saw me and approached me and offered her help which resolved it. Seems that chevron cc machines take cc's in a single direction only and I was sliding it with the chip facing in. She was patient and helpful and very pleasant and respectful. It's nice to see that someone pays attention to detail and does her job well. I think her name was Yazmin (she said she was the manager). This happened yesterday at around 11:30am. read more

I use to like coming here until the staff changed. Newer staff don't know what their doing and on most occasions when buying tobacco. Everyone including the manager just scan the back of my ID but funny how one of the staff claimed my ID is fake. Just to add insult to injury I sent my cousin in (who isn't 21) with my ID and funny how the manager sold him a swisher but her employee wouldn't sell me one when I actually had my own ID. Ironic but funny. read more

This is my third review for this damn place in hopes the owner or manager will somehow make the appropriate changes to this gas station. There is an older lady that works there, Spanish speaker. I think one of the oldest ones there actually. And she's been there the longest so who knows, she might be the one reading these and not caring for all I know. Been there for years. She doesn't care about the guests coming in. No one ever offers assistance, they just want you to leave. The other day I walked in, no line, the older lady who never wears a name tag, is stocking some hot food items for breakfast and bread items. She ignores the fact a man walked in and is in line waiting for her. I grab my drink and proceed to get in line behind him, she LOOKS OVER and looks BACK then continues restocking her food items. I looked at the time, 0647. Three minutes have passed by and she hasn't even started to make her way over. By this time more people are starting to come in creating MORE OF A LINE! Ugh I'm literally making a coughing noise and sound to clear my throat so she can hurry the hell up and help us. She SLOWLY starts picking up her mess and puts this cart back behind the registers, slowly removing her gloves and rudely asks, "how can I help you" like as if were bothering her. 7 minutes passed by of me being second in line. Completely disrespectful. Also, if she sees people pulling out their ID when purchasing a pack of cigarettes can you please tell her not to rudely ask for it !? It's common sense if you see me working on pulling it out of my wallet the millionth time for her.. please let her go! We need nicer employees working there with friendly faces and smiles! read more

Car wash was broken and person working gave us major attitude about it, then other workers inside started talking about my friends and I in spanish... not knowing we understood exactly what they were saying. read more

Worst Chevron gas station ever. The employees are slow, rude and act if they do not speak any English. I avoid getting my premium gas here, but on occasion have no other choice. The car wash would be great if it worked properly. When it does not spout soap like it should the employees give you a hard time for bringing it to their attention. They will argue that it was just maintenanced or go out to show you the soap. In any case minus 1 star for this station. Retailers don't forget diversity and reflection of your community should drive your recruitment of employees you hire. Not everyone in Eastlake speaks Spanish. read more

Horrible customer service card readers don't even work on several pumps when addressed about situation was ignored and just ended up leaving and going to another gas station like how bad can you be to have 1 Star on your gas station get it together read more

Well, I'm not surprised to see a rude lady being described in many other customer experiences so let me put a name to the employee/manager who is associated with the hostile attitude many others are describing. Liz is the employee/manager that caused my extremely bad experience to be Yelp noteworthy. I entered the single lane carwash and after spending upwards of 20 minutes waiting for the other cars to process through the machine it gave me the error code of BUSY. I even waited for the last car's drying timer to expire thinking it was a glitch. After trying about 5 or 6 times to make it work I gave up and pulled through without a wash. I parked and went inside. I asked the lady at the counter if I could talk to a manager and Liz came out from the back room and I explained to her what had happened with my experience of waiting and having their malfunctioning machine not provide me with a wash and she looked me dead in the eye and said well there's a sign outside that says it doesn't work so there's nothing I can do. I asked her if she could show me the sign and the sign is written in a size that is impossible to read from the car. I asked her from where we were standing which was close if she could read it and she couldn't. Then I politely asked her to explain to me that if the person running the gas station who is aware of the issue couldn't read the sign from where we were how could the people using the drive-through read it and her robotic response was the same sorry sir there is nothing can do because we posted a sign (that not even she could read). It is rare for me in today's competitive marketplace for a company to keep such a remedial employee whose job it is partly to provide customer service and solve issues. It suggests that at the very least Chevron and the people responsible for placing people in positions of responsibility have utterly failed in elevating incompetence within the Chevron company to a level that is being reflected by many other customer reviews. I just hope that someone within the Chevron company has the wherewithal to have a process in place to weed out the people who give the company CHEVRON a bad name. There are not many choices in our area for gas stations, limiting our options and based on my experience with Liz and this perpetually problematic carwash I will make a consorted effort to drive the extra mile to take my loyal business where it is at the very least appreciated. read more

This location is always pricey. I would make the drive down on telegraph for mobil gas..it's a bit cheaper.

Be careful! The pumps don't work with Debit/Credit cards again. This is the second time in one week that I've tried to get gas and the system goes haywire. First time, I tried to use my card and it stopped pumping because the store attendant used the other persons money from the pump next to me. I was running late so I just left without pumping gas. Today I swiped my card about 3 times cause the pump kept saying it has stopped pumping. I talked to the store attendant 3 times and he couldn't get it to reset. Hope they don't try and charge something fraudulent on my card. The lady at the next pump was having the same issue so she just paid cash. I think they need to look at their system before having anyone pump gas again. read more

The lines at the gas station are always ridiculous. And it's a small area to navigate around. Convenience store is adequate. Staff is typical of a convenience store, sometimes OK, often grouchy. Car wash is the best feature here. New equipment and touch less. read more

Incredibly rude staff. Too bad there are so few gas stations in eastlake. Avoiding this one is tough, but worth it.

Ok guys now I'm not racist and I'm not trying to deliver any racism idea through this message but it's so so so so so freaking rude to talk to customer in a foreign language other than English specially that you can see that the customer is not a Spanish speaker and can not understand what you're saying to him\her and most of it is forcing it on at the work environment .. Managers shouldn't be allowing that unless the customer can't speak English then that's not a problem but to do that with people that can't speak it again it is un acceptable and really rude I hope whoever is reading this review gets my point and not go the other way .. And I hope the managers would read this and take an action regarding this ridiculous behavior.. read more

Mean and Nasty..You all should be ashamed of yourselves...I thought with this new crew that things would change here..I was wrong.

Usually stop by here to fill up before jumping on toll road, prices fluctuate as you would expect. Used the car wash here a few times, but after the last definitely not worth the 10 bux. Car still came out pretty dirty. Pay the extra couple of bux and take it in to have it washed and hand dried. read more
