There usually a homeless person in the front of any 7 Eleven too so it's not uncommon to see, there was one today when I came but he didn't brother me. When I walked inside, I went straight to the candy aisle and looked at what they had. I went with the Crunch chocolate bar and they have a promo where if you buy one then the second one is way cheaper. I walked around the store before paying just to see what they have as well. I saw some ramen, car oil, cold medicine, beef jerky and of course beer here. I looked at their hot food selection but wasn't craving anything. I also looked at their energy drinks but didn't see the brand that I wanted so I went to pay. The employees working today was very nice with me and I didn't have a bad experience here.

I was in line for a car wash and noticed my receipt didn't print the full code. When I called to ask where the code was located, he said he could see it on his end. I politely asked if he could give it to me over the phone, and he very rudely said no. I then asked if he could please bring it out since there were four cars behind me, and again he chuckled and said no. When I explained that I couldn't move because there were cars in front and behind me, he hung up on me. Once I was finally able to drive through, I walked inside to request a refund due to how poorly I was treated. Wack extra fee for using my ATM - but that was not the worst part. I paid, pumped, and happened to notice that there were 2 cars behind me waiting to pump gas. So being nice, I pumped quick and moved to a spot out of the way so they could pump. The spot I moved to was near their sign which was being changed by an EXTREMELY unpleasant looking and sounding man in an Arco shirt who proceeded to yell at me that I could not park there. I opened my window to explain to the man that I was not parking, but had stopped for a second to fix my money. He yelled at me that he could not hear me and didn't want to but "JUST MOVE YOUR CAR!" I got out and explained that he did not have to yell and that I did not intend to stay more than 2 minutes. He continued to yell at me. By the way, I did look around and there was no indication that I could not park there (curb was not red, no sign, and I was nowhere near him). So I got back in my car, shut my window, moved to a pump, parked and decided to write my review while sitting here at his pump - which was a very pleasant experience btw because there was no more yelling involved. I have been here a good 10 minutes now, and you would have thought he would be more upset at the loss of sales at this pump but I did not hear a single peep. Go figure... Needless to say, I was not a fan of Arco before, and definitely will NEVER spend another penny at this one...

I have always favored this 711, even before I moved to the area. It has pretty much the same…read moreinventory as the other 711 stores do (except for 711 gear, like the pink trucker hat I bought from a different 711 location), but this 711 is exceptional about restocking ALL of its products. If you often buy something in particular from 711, probably once in a while they won't have it at your local store when you go. This 711 isn't like that. I noticed that they are always fully stocked up with every prepaid and gift card in 711's repertoire and that they carry every single prepaid phone and prepaid phone card there is. Personally, I have gone with a friend in order to buy a prepaid phone card for a specific phone and for a specific amount of phone time at 4AM, when the only store nearby and open is 711, and we went and that 711 didn't have anymore of those cards so we had to visit 2 more 711 stores before we found the phone card she needed. This 711 on the corner of Devonshire and Topanga would have had it. They always have everything! But, what's even more of a reason to like this 711 more than the others is that the people who work here are so kind. Seriously. Kind is a very specific adjective used to describe a person who is cool or nice. The staff here are very kind people. They are good people. It makes my day when I come into contact with such a nice person that they exude goodness and kindness. It just makes my entire day. I'm pretty sure that we are all like that... dealing or connecting in whatever way even for 10 seconds with someone genuine and good to humanity lifts our spirits and gives us faith in who we are ourselves. It's always a good thing, anyway, right(?)... It never hurts to meet a good person. So, that's the reason I bring my business here.
