This is the 2nd Yelp review I've ever written because I'm that thankful for this place. I have an '02 Toyota Camry with a check engine light that kept coming on after long trips. I took it to my regular mechanic (who I was not completely sold on) and they told me I needed two parts that totaled 1600$. Being a broke graduate student, I thought I'd get a second opinion. I brought it to the Service Center; they ran tests on it and called me later that day, saying that it actually was NOT necessary to buy the parts right now since the light was coming on because of a dirty filter/converter. Dave told me to fill my gas tank up with premium gas every few fills and let the hotter gas burn some of the crud out (my words, not his). He said he definitely tries to save people money when he can, which is obviously appreciated. I try it and it absolutely works. Light goes off, these guys saved me 1600 bucks and have a new loyal customer. read more

WARNING!!! Check the price at the at the physical pump before to pay!!! I filled up today and noticed the pump price is higher than the advertised price. I submitted a complaint and currently awaiting a resolution. read more

I've found myself stopping by this particular Chevron more times than I'd like to admit, and each visit just reminds me how frustrating the experience is. The pumps here are some of the worst I've encountered--they rarely work properly, and getting a full tank of gas feels like a mini HIIT workout. I have to jiggle, shove, and practically dance around just to get the nozzle to cooperate. Honestly, this station really needs to fix the pumps--like, just get new pumps already! Until they do, if you want a stress-free refill, this isn't the gas station! So frustrating.... read more

I have been going to this gas station for many many years from them changing it to a Mobile, some Indy gas companies, etc.. The neighborhood around it must be by a damn septic tank that is shared by the apartments and mobile homes nearby because it always smells like crap! Now.... the service here actually used to be really really good, along with their break service guy.....; but NOW that it turned into a Chevron, I would think that it would stay or even be way better, but NOPE. This is the ONLY Chevron that "does not have a public restroom". Every Chevron I have been to, has prided itself in having some of the cleanest restrooms and best customer service, but not this one. The new cashier Alex gave a smug look with his blinged-out chains and straight up lied to me saying that they don't have a restroom for customers anymore. Aside from all that, with their new "re-modeled" station, why the hell are their actual handle pumps too damn dirty, that it looks like it caught and collected every STD Pokémon and Hepatitis A-Z????? It's as if they sprayed nice cologne on a bag of shit..... it will still be and smell like shit. Don't go here! Try to make it to the 76 down Carson Street next to Bambino's Pizza instead! read more

This is the only Chevron that charges $1.31 to pump gas! I use my Chevron card so I can get the discount, and I always have $1.31 charge on my bill, when using this station! It is right around the corner from my house. Just thought it was a fluke, one time thing, but NO, it happens every time I go there! Don't get a paper statement so, I happened to look online, at my billing statement, as I have it auto pay, to pay balance each month??? Won't be going there anymore!!! read more

I went there to put 2 gallons of gas today, just to get me enough gas to last till Wednesday. Expensive as it is already I still put gas. After putting gas and I get in my car my gas gauge did not move. It still stayed the same. I know it was only 2 gallons, but I know my gas gauge should at least moved a lil. I complained to the guy inside but he said that it's normal. I DON'T THINK SO!!! Anyone know how to complain to corporate?? read more

In a time like now poor customer service is completely unacceptable. You're associate Alex is highly unprofessional and rude. He does not speak to you after you ask for a service he just stares blankly passed you and then yells do You want help. I saw him yell at an older woman then did the same to me. I calmly told him we can't see you you should say something and he looked at me as if I was stupid. Alex needs to go home he is not ready to help people in this hard time. I will never get anything from this gas station again that was completely unacceptable. read more

Crappy ass service. during the pandemic covid they weren't letting people in. so the attendant ran my debit card as credit and locked it out. my bank txt me and locked it. I told the attendant and they said call the bank. I told him give me the owners name cause he did not give me a receipt with the decline. the owner said take it up with the bank cause thats not his problem. so my bank locked the card and had to wait for days without my card. keep in mind this is what I support my family with during the pandemic. what a shitty owner. never going there again and I live 10 houses down. Carson 76 is located on Figeroa and 228th. They have a fairly small store inside, no wow factor. If you need air for your tires, you can run over to the garage and on the left side there's a button that turns on the air, shhhhh. read more

Huge signs advertising their prices outside so I drove over from another station that was 10c more. Asked the price and confirmed and paid with card. When I go to put gas in price was 10c more! I asked cashier what was up and he says that the cheaper price is for cash only. I wasn't told that when I paid. I told them their signs are misleading and they should indicate that the cheaper price is for cash only, he says it says that On the sign so I checked and on the bottom of the price in tiny tiny letter it says "cash." Still very misleading, they cover their ass by having the tiny sign but it's so small it's hardly noticeable. Annoying cause I drove o er from another gas station just to pay the same amount. read more

Bright signs outside show the lowest price in town, but the pumps don't take card, and the the "24-hour food mart" apparently isn't open past 11PM which means you can't even pay the clerk inside because he's signaling they're closed. This is why I just go to Costco, or United Oil just up Figueroa in case of emergencies. read more

Under new management, lot of things have changed from before. Cheap price, great coffee and variety of cold drinks for hot california weatger. It has everything you would expect from a convinience store. Lots of variety. Heard they are bringing in beers too . Gas pumps all working great. Gas is cheaper compared to near by gas stations. read more

BEWARE!!!!!! CREDIT CARD FRAUD. i went here the other day bec. i was in the area and in need of gas. i used my credit card and today i got a call that my card information was stolen. this was the only place i used that card since last week so i'm very sure the fraud came from this place. i dont know what happened, i still have my card. i believe something was done either by an employee (or whoever was in charge of card transactions) selling out card info. this is weird. read more

Without any exaggeration, this gas station's pumps are always down. Either completely down, or you have to go inside to pay. When you go inside to pay, you are told cash only. Bottom line, this place is always broken. On top of that, my credit card was charged twice the last time I was here. Customer service doesn't exist at this place. If you need gas and it happens to be the closest, AND if the pumps work, then put gas here; otherwise move on to another gas station. read more

If negative stars was an option I would rate this location a Negative 22. I pulled up to pump 9 used my CC and started to pump my gas. Prematurely the pump stops I not sure what's going on then the employee Cherrie come up and says the man at pump 6 paid form my gas, they claim he told them #9 but meant #6 so " I took he gas and I need to come in and pay because it's not right I took his gas" I paid by card and at this point I'mnot sure what to believe, she said then I need to come and and tell the manager. I said the " Manager should come out and speak to me" ok do she goes to get the manager. When manager Adela comes out she is snapping pictures of my car then she comes up to me and says "you took his gas so you need to pay him his money or I'm calling the police and walks off." Bottom line the customer service is HORRIBLE. I would rather Push my car on Empty then buy gas from a United Oli Station. read more
