There was a small sign on the door that said there were no public bathrooms. Maybe I am old - but in my mind gas stations are known places to use the restroom - especially a known company like Chevron. I asked twice and was not allowed. The employee said she would get in trouble. She then directed me to the gas station (not a Chevron) across the street to use their bathrooms. My issue is not that my expectations of gas stations = bathrooms. My issue is that the sign should not be small and posted on only the door. There should be signs on the pumps so people like me can just get back in the car and go to another gas station. That would not have upset me. Spending ten bucks on gas I didn't NEED was frustrating. No manager was present for me to speak with. I called today (this happened yesterday) to tell the manager that they should post signs on the pumps. She said sorry as she would look into it and that she had to go as they had a lot of customers. Did she HANDLE it? Not sure, but she did apologize.

Use your Ralph's Rewards Card and you get money off per gallon when you rack up points. But it's not just a gas station... there's a Subway inside that's open at the wee hours as well. I called my bank to dispute the transaction and the customer service rep told me that Shell placed a hold on my account. That had never happened to me before, especially not at that specific gas station. I was instructed to either wait two business days to get my money back or go up there and demand it immediately. I went back up there of course. On my way there, I called 15 times and the store associate did not answer. When I got there, the store associate told me that he did not care about my issue and that he "really didn't give a f***" when I got my money back. Since then, their improved Rocket and Jack in the Box quality in customer service and generally as a triple collective whole has surpassed my expectations through the years. I'm always greeted these days by their cool Asian manager guy and his amazing staff that constantly keeps the restrooms clean and every product intact like how every Chevron should be. I dig how they have such a variety of snacks like hot dogs, chip brands, candy, etc. too with some of my favorite energy drink go-tos these days. Outside, it always seems very clean swept and the gas pumps always look new! It's cool and crazy because they're literally right next to their competition: SHELL with no problems. They are the closest next to the 405 S., so once you drive out, you can go about your business heading to work, vacation, school, etc. IF you're not caught up by the random train.....; but that's not a big deal to me.
