Packed gas station market has people wanting the burritos they cook, but employees have closed the food section and won't cook more. Packed place, gas makes low profit margins, owners strive to get customers in the door to buy high profit items especially from the deli, which is closed. 4 people asking for the deli products refused. I drive down the street to the in and out burger and it's a 30 min wait line around the block and the inside dining packed. There is a demon and demographic yet the market wants to be in the habit training the Friday night customers of the casino going home that they no longer have the late night snacks. To start: the beer. So much beer! Not just beer, they have beverages of all sorts and varieties. There is something for everyone: beer, cider, energy drinks, soda, and.... A milkshake / smoothie machine. But back to the beer, the tap selection was excellent. IPA, hazy, red ale, pilsner, and cider was available. They make use of the Digital Pour app so you can plan ahead. Prices were very fair; 64 Oz fill runs about $10-14 + tax. Next, there is a decent selection of packaged snacks, candy, chocolate, chips - all the typical convenience store goodness. I also spotted some harder-to-find chocolates like Justin's peanutbutter cups, Ritter Sport, and Toblerone. They are only recently opened as of this review, so there were no hot snacks yet (equipment was just out of the package), but I look forward to seeing what they offer. I understand turnover is high but clearly management there would rather hire multiple new people…read morethan keep their long term employees happy. Only been around here a little while and see three different employees who were incredible all leave because of this. Here's how you know: rush time for food. Former employee could cover both registers and make sure no customers were getting impatient. Like all the time. It was impressive. I went in after they left and there were three employees all drowning as a unit in the rush. Several times. I will most likely be finding a new neighborhood mart. Also, gas is way overpriced due to location.
