A huge piece of asphalt flew through the window & smashed my face. I had a broken nose, broken teeth, & my jaw was dislocated. The accident happened on our way to Dallas. I was in the passenger seat and the ambulance took me to the closest emergency room. My 4 year old daughter was in the back seat & is still dealing with the trauma of the experience. Thankfully I'm the only one who was physically hurt. The Doctors at the ER were pulling pieces of road off of my face and trying to stitch small cuts on my face. The whole experience happened very fast. I remember stopping them and saying I didn't want anyone touching my face except Dr. Mentz. I chose him several years prior & knew if I ever had any work done I only trusted Dr. Mentz. We called Dr. Mentz when we got home and his waitlist to see new patients was over 3 months. I was able to speak to his nurse and explained the urgency of my situation. Thankfully the nurse cleared a spot for me. Dr. Mentz was kind, caring, & exuded confidence & I immediately felt a calmness come over me. The damage to my face was so severe he asked for pictures of what I looked like prior to the accident. I was able to pull up some Facebook pictures that he studied for a long time. He then called in his nurse, started rambling off medical terms & instructions. He called an amazing cosmetic Dentist named Stryker Davis. Dr. Mentz explained my situation to Dr. Davis. He then immediately sent me to the cosmetic surgeon & dentist. Dr. Mentz explained it was necessary for me to see the Dentist first because of the trauma my face & mouth endured. And if the dental work was extensive it could affect what he needed to do to my face. I went to the Dentist & was treated like a rockstar. They saw me immediately, he did an examination then called Dr. Mentz & the two came up with a care plan for me. I was scheduled for plastic surgery on my face 2 days later. During my 2nd consultation with Dr Mentz he suggested we do some minor shaping on my nose. Honestly all I wanted was to be able to breathe again & feel normal. It took about 3 months for all of my swelling & pain to settle down. To this day I am so thankful I had it mentally together enough to stop the ER Doctors from working on my face. And of course I also wish I had taken Mentz's suggestion to sculpt my nose. It's on my list now & I plan on making a beeline to his office the moment I have everything in order (financially & time off work). Dr. Mentz is the best plastic surgeon in America! Do your research & you will see all of his before & after pictures. They're real people and his education is top notch! I highly recommend Dr. Mentz & have sent several friends to him. They were all very pleased with his work. I could argue that he probably saved my life! The procedure he did on my nose was one that he created. Weeks later friends & family could not believe the improvement of my face. Every day it got better. My whole family & I always pray for Dr. Mentz & his family and will continue to do so. This man/genius gave me so much that words could never express how grateful I am to him. If his waitlist is still months long go ahead & get on the list. You won't regret it! Also, once you're an established patient you get priority placement so the waitlist goes down to maybe a week or so.

In addition, my stomach is lumpy. I expressed this to my surgeon on my final/ 6th month visit. She explained that the fat I'm seeing is visceral fat beneath my muscles. She also recommended I do abdominal exercises. I don't know. . . I didn't spend money to exercise, I spent money to get the results. Although I am not happy with my big lumpy stomach, I am pleased with the removal of fat from my upper back, waist and upper arms. As I sat back in my office three days after my birthday, I decided that was it; it was time to put an end to the frustration, the self-consciousness and barrier to a better quality of life. I had done the hard work, 4am workouts, plant-based diet, no booze or smoke; all it did was make the problem more pronounced. On that Monday I continued previous research for the surgeon that would best fit me. I found two: one of them Dr. Vitenas; the other, well that doesn't matter now. In inquired online. That morning, I got a call from the heavens, it seems; it was Javier. After telling him my story, he empathized and asked for some photos so that he could consult with Dr. Vitenas. I did and he did, because he asked me to come in that afternoon for a consultation with Dr. Vitenas. I had vacation planned and that fell through so the timing was perfect; as if the seas had opened up-- but it gets better. I arrive at the state-of-the-art facility which houses Dr. Vitenas operating room (OR) (let me tell you that OR is top notch!). The details matter, especially with any medical procedure where sharp objects are involved. The details are evident as I was greeted (first my Melanie on the 1st fl. Beauty Boutique) by Gary, who knew who I was and what I was there for. I finally met Javier in person and he seemed just as excited for me as I was to potentially get this procedure done. He informed me that some magic might have been a brewing because a cancellation had just come in. I met with Dr. Vitenas and without words, he seemed to already know the struggle I was living with and how he could help make this a turning point in my life. I was all-in. I discussed details with Javier and he revealed the opportunity of a lifetime; I could have the surgery the next day if I decided to proceed. And you bet I did. Next came the nurse consult with pre and post-op instructions. I met with Courtney who was also excited for me. She appeared youthful, but you could tell she could do this in her sleep, so the trust carried through to the staff I met that day. This is crucial because I must believe that I will be able to get back to work in a timely manner-- no work no pay in my profession. Fast forward-- I followed the instructions, got the surgery and I was back at work 2 days later and full tilt at the gym 3 weeks after. I left the tape on for that long and wore compression all day and night, I rested, ate well and I could not be more satisfied with the results. Dr. V is a pro. He cares about his product, and he most certainly delivers. If you're looking for surgeon who treats your results as a reflection of his work and passion, Dr Vitenas is your guy.

I was regretting the surgery everyday I woke up and saw myself in the mirror. I had surgery with Dr Courtney in October 2023, I paid for a BBL, lipo360, Breast augmentation, ab etch, arm lipo, inner thigh lipo and he offered to fix my umbilical hernia during the procedure for free. Yes I know it was a lot but he assured me he would do all of it. I woke up from surgery and my arm lipo was never done. No one told me this after surgery, it was after I got my massage and the masseuse told me that I didn't have arm lipo. I was very confused and was unable to reach Dr Courtney and his team until the next week when they confirmed that he hadn't gone through with the arm lipo because THE LIPO MACHINE STOPPED WORKING. Really?? This made me very uncomfortable because I wasn't sure if my other areas were done properly as the machine stopped working. He asked me to recover from the procedure and come back to finish the arm lipo. My Breast lift/augmentation wasn't bad looking, thank goodness. Thats the only thing I would say i was ok with even if it could have been better. During recovery, I spent so much money on massages and I kept hoping the lipo360 would look as I expected but no difference I felt like I hadn't done lipo. Everything else was a mess and I was getting so frustrated. I finally was able to get back on his schedule in March 2024 and it was a complete waste of time. My ab etching was the worst. So ugly and left me with superficial burns in my stomach. My liposuction-Still not the results I was expecting and I'm not sure if the lipo machine worked this time but I kept waiting to see results and after I went to him at 3 months PO with no results he asked me to go loose weight. I was so livid. I finally went to Miami to Dr Moraidian and he snatched my waist and stomach flat. Something Dr Courtney told me would never be flat and I should go loose weight for. Please save your coins and go out of Texas or the US. This Dr will not give you the results you are looking for. The only patients that seem to like his work are his influencers.

I was going in thinking I needed an upper bleph, but he was completely honest about how that would solve a smaller issue to a bigger problem. Doing the whole lift has taken care of the sagging skin above my eye, & I'm really glad I didn't go down the bleph route!!! After completing liposuction under my chin last year, I realized I had some loose skin that was preventing my jawline from looking sharp. Him and I discussed the neck lift - which he then also debunked whatever leftover fat was in there. It's insane how I could look as far down to my toes, and my jawline remains as sharp as Ariana Grande's. Pain for both has been in the lower 3/4's out of 10 (i have a HORRIBLE pain tolerance & I was fine). You'll have a weird banded headache around your head for the first week and a half. And you'll have a good amount of tightness in your neck for about six weeks. But sitting at seven weeks right now, I feel like myself again. The recovery was super quick, just as he said it would be! I got my hair done yesterday in an updo, and I've been doing full beats of makeup, & I have no pain or discomfort. He was constantly checking in on me, when I had issues with a medical rash from an allergic reaction to an antibiotic, he was on it IMMEDIATELY. He handled the "crisis" calmly and professionally, and I trusted him every step of the way. He the checked on me every few days until the rash was gone completely. That made me feel comfortable to know the issue was being handled - coming from a highly anxious girl. Dr. Chattha was the best surgeon I could ever ask for & I will NEVER go anywhere else again. When I did, I was told I couldn't receive a refund, and the person I spoke to was curt and sounded annoyed that I called back at all. This review is not a reflection on the doctor, whom I never met. However, first impressions matter--especially in this field--and I did not feel comfortable or cared for from the very first interaction. The first photo is before any procedures. After my initial treatment, neither I nor Dr. Roth were happy with the results. He offered to do the procedure a second time. The second and third photo is what I look like today more than a year after the procedures and after $8000 were spent . I came in for my chin, but in the end, all of my buccal fat was removed, which is something I have never wanted. So much so that for the first time of my life, I have heavy jowls and I'm in my 30s. I hate looking in the mirror and wish I had never done anything. All I wanted was to get rid of my double chin and now I'm left with so much loose skin and no baby fat on my face that I look 20 years older than I am. I feel botched. I regret coming here everyday.
