I tasted quite a few of the ciders that they had on tap here, all were wonderful at it was a tough decision what bottle of cider I would purchase to take home. I tried the ginger pear, the cider with lemon, original cider and finally the Peach Apricot Cider which is what I decided to get a bottle of to take home. I saw a lot of tempting choices here and so I got a taster set so I wouldn't have to decide on just one cider. For my taster set I got the Peargatory, Chimera, Honey Bubbles and Cold Smoke. I liked the Peargatory a lot. I am often drawn to perry ciders often and this one was no exception in the matter. The Honey Bubbles was very good as well as it was more of a dry Rosé ciderbut with a little bit of sweetness. The Chimera was a cheery apple cider and that one was pretty good but a wasn't one of my favorites as was the Cold Smoke which came across heavier on my pallette. None of the ciders were bad, I just had some favorites. In fact in this part of Washington state I am not so sure you can go wrong with any cidery you go to. This tasting room is situated right in downtown Chelan.

Nothing too exotic with this cider other than it's a straight up wonderfully tasting hard apple cider with just the right amount of sweetness which most importantly gives me the impression I'm drinking a cider and not a soda pop. This cider is alive and vibrant and just gives continued confirmation that this is an area of the state where the standards and quality of local cideries and apples are quite high to ensure a rewarding experience.

It was Tuesday and I ordered three tacos on corn tortillas. The plate looked awesome. The black beans and rice were ok; nothing special. My three tacos came as requested, pulled pork, Fajita chicken and carne asada. It came with pico and a crème guac sauce. The corn tortillas were a bit odd and you really couldn't eat them as a taco because they just falling apart. So I ate the filling. The pulled port was the best. It was lean, moist and so flavorful. The carne asada was just strange. It was very small curled up balls of meet. Charred and has no flavor. I don't touch the chicken. It looked like it was a repacked frozen sliced strips. Not my jam. I had asked for some sour cream but never received it. O would not recommend this late in the season.
