The reception lodge was plenty large enough for over 100 guests with plenty of additional space, allowing for a perfect rain or shine event, and the covered porch was comfy and provided spectacular mountain views. The landscaping was gorgeous; in short, the setting could not have been more heavenly. There was no need for an event planner, as Cheri's many years of experience and dedication were invaluable and deeply appreciated. She really knows her stuff!! Best of all, she has a great sense of humor and was fun to work with, and her pride of ownership and thoughtful attention to detail made the wedding day an absolutely wonderful, memorable occasion!

Our son and his bride were married August 14, 2021 at the High Vista Golf Club Laurel Room. The…read moreevent coordinator, Liz Williams, was kind, knowledgeable, competent and helpful. It really couldn't have been a more perfect experience from the point of view of the groom's parents : ) I wish I had the chef's name - the food was excellent! The bride and groom were able to select menu items in advance during a tasting and the items served at the event did not disappoint. Everything exceeded expectations! The servers were very safety conscious and were masked and careful about serving and presentation. The venue was beautiful. It accurately describedon the website, "The Laurel Room at High Vista offers a stunning panoramic view of the Blue Ridge mountains in all directions through a room wrapped in windows and balconies. The interior has a timeless A-frame wood beam construction, vaulted ceilings, and expansive stone fireplace." For our son's wedding, he and his bride selected the rain or shine option of an outdoor wedding under a tent - an elegant solution that was perfect for wedding guests to stay safe and enjoy the ceremony. We moved downstairs to the Robinson Pub for the cocktail hour and again, guests could enjoy the pub or remain outdoors at tables. We moved to the Laurel Room for the toasts, food, music and dancing. Once again, with open doors and windows and access to the wrap-around balcony and patio, guests were able to safely mask indoors as needed and enjoy dining in the fresh air as chosen. The servers were professional considerate and responsive. It is hard to say enough about the wonderful wedding experience at the Laurel Room! If you are considering a venue with amazing views, safe options and even easy parking, you have found the perfect wedding place. Thanks Liz and colleagues for an evening that was enjoyed by all and will be an amazing memory for a lifetime!

Celebrated a 60th birthday here and the reason behind this being the location is super cool. My…read moreboyfriend's sister's wedding was supposed to be at the Country Club of Asheville and it was cancelled due to Covid. They still allowed them to use the space the following year being this year so we celebrated his mom's 60th. I'm so happy we used the space in December because the Christmas decor was BEAUTIFUL. The photos don't even do it justice! Food was also phenomenal. We got options of steak or salmon and I chose salmon. It was perfectly flavored and the scallops on the side were so cheesy, flaky, soft, and delicious. I also tried the steak and it had gravy on top so it reminded me more of deer meat and I wasn't blown away by it, however it was good. The dessert was chocolate molten lava cake with strawberry on the side and just trust me when I say it was the best dessert of my life. It was so rich so there was no way I could have finished it without feeling sick so I only ate half. My favorite part about the cake is that the top was hard and crusted and the second you go to take a bite, you find the soft center with the chocolate lava that spills out. How I imagine the sweets in heaven lol. The service was incredible and so were the drinks. I ordered a moscow mule and it was good. I also got a mojito and I'm so used to places telling me they are out of mint so I was surprised when I ordered it and they had all the ingredients. It was super well made and tasted great. Such a nice place for a birthday celebration and I bet the weddings here are nothing short of perfection. The location, view, staff, food, etc. is all incredible. I hope I have a reason to come back here one day!

It was the perfect setting for our woodsy, romantic ceremony. The tree-lined path was my favorite spot on the entire property! We had our ceremony outside with a beautiful view of the mountains, which was absolute perfection. Our reception was held in the big wooden hall that was set up so beautifully. Our guests absolutely loved this venue! We received so many compliments saying it was one of the best wedding venues they've been to. I am so thankful for Arik, the venue manager, who was extremely accommodating and so kind to us, our familiars and all of our vendors. The staff at Yesterday Spaces are professional and helpful.
