My husband and I were married at Yesterday Spaces this past fall and it was a dream! We are so grateful to have found this wonderful venue for our wedding. It was the perfect setting for our woodsy, romantic ceremony. The tree-lined path was my favorite spot on the entire property! We had our ceremony outside with a beautiful view of the mountains, which was absolute perfection. Our reception was held in the big wooden hall that was set up so beautifully. Our guests absolutely loved this venue! We received so many compliments saying it was one of the best wedding venues they've been to. I am so thankful for Arik, the venue manager, who was extremely accommodating and so kind to us, our familiars and all of our vendors. The staff at Yesterday Spaces are professional and helpful. I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day because they had it covered. I really appreciated Arik's willingness to work with me and my planner since I was planning my wedding from out of town. So I've resolved to create a list of reviews for potential wedding venues here in Asheville. So here's my first. I've had the pleasure of attending and working at multiple weddings at Yesterday Spaces. It's not exactly close to the downtown area of Asheville, but what it lacks in proximity it more than makes up for in charm. It's used quite regularly by people who live in Asheville, as well as people visiting Asheville for a destination wedding. If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers a beautiful outdoor field with a fantastic view of the Blue Ridge mountains and a large hall to seat 100 or so guests for the reception this may be the spot for you. The owner, Mike, is on hand for each event and is extremely adaptable and happy to make sure that your event is everything you would hope it could be. The hall/barn area is quite spacious. It features hardwood floors and ceilings. Surprisingly enough it doesn't create a tremendously cacophonous environment and really creates a friendly family sort of atmosphere. There's a commercial class kitchen in the back of the space that seems perfect for caterers to utilize, which is a big plus for the staff you may want to bring in for your event. I've also attended an event where the bride and groom brought in food trucks and had them set up outside. There was more than enough space for this, while still being quite close to the reception area. There's a large field across the street and down the hill from the venue that has more than enough space for 80 or so cars, and for those that don't feel like trudging up a long gravel hill Yesterday Spaces utilizes all terrain golf carts, which is quite a pleasant service. If proximity to downtown isn't on your MUSTS list, I highly recommend checking out this venue. read more

I LOVE Yesterday Spaces! I had my wedding on 8/14/16 at Yesterday Spaces. I live on the West Coast so I couldn't see it in person before, but my parents did a walk-through and sent me pictures. I was sold right away! It has rustic charm, a helpful & friendly staff, beautiful views, and multiple locations to have your ceremony. It ended up raining so we were in the Dairy Barn which was gorgeous! The Event Barn for the reception was great for our party of 110. We had a buffet set up and dancing afterwards. Great sound system too! Long story short, I 100% recommend this venue! read more

Perfect! Close enough to downtown to have city life and definitely a serene country setting for our daughter's wedding. Arik calmly helped with so many things and everything went smoothly. They have worked hard to make it look easy! The venue was laid out wonderfully with options for rain etc. parking, and the reception barn. The walk to the outdoor ceremony site was magical as was the site itself. The barn nearby for the wedding party to wait was all carefully thought out too. The farmhouse is so lovely. Some of the wedding party stayed there and it was amazing. History and love abounds. We couldn't be any happier with our choice of venue! Thank you Arik and all! read more

We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose Yesterday Spaces for our wedding. On the wedding day, everything was perfect. We had a traditional Jewish wedding that included a men's tisch in the dairy barn, bridal reception in the upper barn, and klezmer dancing in the field. Our guests loved the entire experience. There are so many gorgeous spaces on the venue that make it so wonderful and unique. We also found that our vendors loved working at Yesterday Spaces. They have two high end kitchens that our caterers raved about and a great sound system that helped the DJ bring the party. Planning and a wedding can be stressful but working with Arik was a pleasure. He is kind, thoughtful, and well-organized. Our advice, if you are looking for a wedding venue in Asheville and Yesterday Spaces is available, book it immediately. read more

My daughter was married at YS on May 27, 2017. We are truly pleased that we chose this venue. The weather was lovely and we were able to take advantage of the tranquil and lovely outdoor ceremony site. The event barn was perfect for the reception. Arik and his family are welcoming and easy to work with. Many of our guests complimented the venue on its charm and beauty. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants lots of options and a venue staff that is helpful and accommodating. We also had family members who stayed the weekend in the Farmhouse and another weekend rental house close by. They all loved that experience as well. read more

If I only had space to write one sentence, it would be - THIS IS WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF! Seriously, this place couldn't be more perfect. It's absolutely what dreams are made of. The tree lined path, the string lights in the field, the 100 year old farm house, the dairy barn, the animals, the fireflies, the reception hall, the family that runs it and maintain the grounds. I basically want to live here, but am settling on having the most incredible wedding photos I could dream of. Arik was my point of contact from the beginning and he couldn't be a kinder person. He was so accommodating, patient, reliable, authentically excited about our vision and grateful to have us. Just a wonderful person all the way around and all his staff was incredible as well. The caterers love working events here because they have a fully equipped catering kitchen with everything they need. The value far exceeds the price and if it is available - you would be missing out not to book it right away. We were there for the entire week prior to our wedding so we got to enjoy the country roads on morning runs, walking up to see the animals, catching fireflies, sitting in rocking chairs on the front porch for the sunset (something we don't seem to do in California) and just slowing down. I'm already trying to coordinate a trip back just to stay in the farm house again! The memories we created on this land will be some of the most cherished ones, ever.
