All the vendors involved from cake, florist, officiant, photographer, and videographer were amazing to work with. Cassie was outstanding to coordinate with - she helped us through every step of the process. Meghan Rolfe was also such an amazing photographer. Day of she made us feel so relaxed and reminded us to be in the moment. We absolutely love our photos! We also worked with Heartistree Studios for our wedding video and could not have been happier with the final product. We highly recommend going with a package that includes a video highlight - you will not regret it! We are so honored and grateful to have had Elope Outdoors plan and execute our big day!

I loved that EO gave the option to have a true elopement OR a micro-wedding. After emailing back and forth with Meghan, we pretty much had everything decided-- it was that easy! As we got closer to the wedding, I was in contact with Cassie, who could not have been more sweet! She made sure I was kept in the loop the whole time and made sure to address any questions or concerns really quickly. Our officiant, Michael, was great and really listened to what we wanted. He was also super cool about us adding our own vows with only about a month til the wedding. Our photographer, Amy, was also really sweet and very understanding when makeup was a bit late. Although I haven't seen pictures yet, I'm confident that they'll be beautiful. We had a very small ceremony (8 guests) at The Cabin Ridge in Hendersonville. What an amazing venue!! Pictures don't even do this place justice. The guys and gals had separate cabins to get ready in, which was perfect for hair and makeup and avoiding wrinkled suits from the car. The wedding day assistant, Ginny, was a dream to work with and even put up my arch decor while I got ready! If you're looking for something that takes the normal "wedding stress" off the table, Elope Outdoors is it. They took care of the photography, flowers, officiant and venue. Although a bit biased, our family said it was the best wedding they've been to. :)

We came from out of town and were a bit nervous about spending money sight unseen. I think, we would have paid double if, we knew then, what we experienced on our wedding day. If you and your significant other are planning to get married, I cannot scream loud enough - DON'T WASTE MONEY ON A HUGE WEDDING! If you are able, go to Asheville and let JP and his wife guide you through a seamless ceremony. No stress, no worries, no regrets! We were able to pamper ourselves all weekend. We added the videographer to capture all the fun. It was just the two of us along with JP and Crystal. We honestly felt like we were with our friends. They made us so comfortable and relaxed. There was no rushing at all. We can't wait to get our photos and video. With all the money we saved by eloping, we were able to comfortably spoil ourselves to the fullest. Lots of Spa treatments, fine dining, shopping, Biltmore Estate....... Trust me on this......Don't waste money on some huge affair that you have to pay for, for years to come. Thank you so very much JP and Crystal.

In a word...exceptional!…read more I attended a weekend long wedding celebration with James & Molly here 8/5 to 8/9 of 2021. Us and about 50 family & friends. It was my first experience for a destination wedding in an outside venue with guest accommodations on-site. If that is what you have in mind, look no further...this is THE place. They have weddings in a field of Sunflowers! You get a horse drawn carriage to deliver the betrothed couple to a field of wild flowers to begin the ceremony. All your guests, walk a short distance to a massive tent for the reception. You dance, you sing, you dance some more, you celebrate the joy with family & friends, all the people you care about are in one spot, not for just a wedding ceremony but for the entire weekend! You can experience all this in the natural beauty of a Western North Carolina valley right on the Swannona River. The Cherokee call it 'beautiful river' and it is that. They assist in coordinating everything. Yes, everything from flowers to photos, food, DJ and live music. Ben Pham, Andy Pond and other locals from Gypsy Grass were fantastic! Though it feels like you're in a remote farm/ranch type environment, you are just minutes away from East Asheville and easy access off I-40. We knew it was a farm when we heard the braying mule, the clucking chickens & crowing roosters all doing doing what they do while the horses roam in their pens. Ms Jeanne Sommer and her team provide all the resources for planning an event you will never forget. It was a wedding ceremony that finished with a flare of natural beauty, Ms Sommer...que the rainbow! What else could you ask for on such a special day?

THE PERFECT WEDDING VENUE!…read more I just got married here last week. This is a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue. Asheville weather is a bit finicky in regards to rain, so we decided to hold our ceremony, reception, and dance floor indoors. The outdoor area has many seating areas or spots for pictures, including a fire pit and a koi fish pond. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue is, one couple even said they may have to book this venue too! The bar was one of the highlights of this venue. Drinks were delicious, and kept flowing. The staff here is absolutely fantastic, Dawnn was our coordinator and she made everything flow so well. Things were set up and packed up behind the scenes. By the end of the night, everything was packed up and ready to be brought to the car.

Mixed feelings on our wedding experience here. (Pardon the book. LOL) I would rate this 3.75/5…read morestars. There was a lot we didn't know, as it was a first time wedding for us with little connections in the area, and we would do a lot of things differently were we to do it again. Initially, we thought there would be a lot more provided than there was at this venue, especially for the one day rental of $10,000+. Things I would keep in mind for this venue (or for any other): Take your time choosing the right wedding venue: It is easy to feel time pressure when it comes to securing a wedding spot or vendor. We found Haiku in early 2024, and loved it. But we hadn't looked at anything else, and felt like we had to make an immediate decision because we wanted an October wedding. I wish I had taken the time to read through the contract before signing and asked more questions. We based our choice on the support we thought we would have. If I had under 50 people, and could have done their elopement package, I would have. They provide more support for that option. We had right around 70 people and it created a lot more work for us. Hire a wedding planner if you don't have family/friend support: I sincerely wish I hired a wedding planner to take care of a lot of the details that I missed and also who could have played intermediary with the venue and vendors. I thought that I would have more guidance that I did from Haiku, and opted to do the planning myself. Most of my stress came from details that would pop up out of nowhere, and having someone else fielding the minutia would have been amazing In retrospect, and well worth the moola. Pay attention to the contract, and get everything in writing: We signed a contract in Feb 2024, for our wedding in Oct 2025. As we started planning our wedding in early 2025, a number of things that we were told initially(not in the contract), were changed when we met up again later. Pricing, rules, etc. For some of it they were able to honor their original pricing, however some of the conditions we were forced to accept. The mixed expectations had us lose trust in our communications with Haiku, and made us realize we would have to be very careful for the rest of the process. Also, throughly read the contract and ask about contingencies. Ex. The contract makes the tents sound optional, and when it came down to it, we had a lot of push back when we thought we wanted to forgo the tents. There were also quite a few seemingly arbitrary rules, which every venue is likely to have, but left us confused and frustrated at times. Communication: I felt like their communication prior to a month before the event was lacking. Do not hesitate to ask them questions, and clarify everything. It would have been helpful to have some guidance to the portal we were given access to, along with dates things were due by....especially since it had many doubles and misnamed folders which made it hard to keep things straight. (Hopefully they have fixed this by the time you read this!) I spent a lot of time going back and forth with emails (Them and other vendors) where questions were missed multiple times. When it came to the actual event, it mostly went off without a hitch. The decor looked lovely, Haiku arranged things we had brought and meshed it with theirs creating a lovely effect. Things will always go wrong... and my issues at the wedding had more to do with the caterer cold food was served, people couldn't find our snack/hot beverages table (no one knew it was there), and missing unused cups/snacks that were not returned. An issue with the DJ being rude. We did have some miscommunication with how we needed to have some of items repacked to us, and had a couple things go missing (Labeling things would have done a world of good, I think) . ;) ) But overall, the guests had a fabulous time, of which I was grateful. -
