Not only are Sarah and Adam some of the nicest people on the face of the planet, but they're super easy to work with and they craft images that are artsy and truly capture moments in time -- none of the cheesy staged stuff that you see in most wedding photography. Michael and I went with them to a carnival in Dripping Springs, TX for our engagement photos. I wasn't sure Michael would fare well doing the engagement photos since he's a guy and would probably rather be watching a football game. Sarah and Adam made it so fun that he was into it in no time. We both felt really comfortable with them and the images turned out great! They were really interesting pictures because of the cool setting and how relaxed we felt. Sarah and Adam went with us to New Orleans for our wedding (we are Austin based) and they captured every detail, from both of us getting ready in our separate rooms through the second line parade we had at the end of the night. My favorite part was that they really captured the atmosphere and the feeling. I remember hearing a band on the street outside my hotel balcony and there's a picture of it! Every little detail I had in my mind that made my day special was captured on film. We also chose the photo booth option, which I have done before at other weddings and special events. In Tandem's is radically different in that participants can start the camera themselves, see their images and even Faceebook, Tweet, or email them to themselves right from the event. Guests had a blast with this! If I had to do it all over again I would definitely go with In Tandem. They're the best there is.

We chose the "Just a Scoop" package, which says month-of coordination but is SO much more. Sierra met with us every three months leading up to the wedding (which was over a year of work since we booked her services 15 months out), kept us on track, let us know about things we didn't know to know about, and provided emotional support the entire way. Throughout our engagement everyone kept asking us if we were stressed out and thanks to Sierra our answer was always no! She kept us smiling and excited through the entire process and helped us spread out the planning work so that we were never overwhelmed. Her capacity to remember a million details at once and stay on top of things is second to none. Not only did Sierra make the planning process a positive experience, she also CRUSHED the day of the wedding!! Sierra helped put the linens on the tables, helped with the floral set up, helped coordinate all our vendors, and even stopped by the hotel our wedding party was getting ready in to pick up anything that needed to be brought to the vendors on the day of. The price was very reasonable and he offered a lot more services than other photographers. I love that we could choose the services "a la cart" rather than being forced into a package deal that did not fit our needs. My first phone call with Dave reassured me that he was the one for the job. He was very friendly and laid-back. He was also incredibly helpful from what vendors he recommended to how to choose the ceremony time so the lighting would be just right in the Clock Tower on 16th street. We met Dave in April to do an engagement photo shoot and it gave us a really good opportunity to get to know him prior to our big day. We really enjoyed ourselves and were completely relaxed, which was reflected in the gorgeous and creative photos he took. Dave had already shot at the Clock Tower on other occasions, and this experience really helped us land some awesome shots of our wedding. He didn't miss any details. Besides giving Heather a list of things that were important to us, she took those suggestions and produced photos beyond what we could have imagined were possible. For example, at the end of the evening we all went outside to light wish lanterns to send off into the star lit sky. As everyone was putting on their coats to go outside, Heather suggested I go out without my coat because my dress would be covered. Well, Heather's suggestion led to one of our favorite photos: the two of us taken from behind as we released our lantern into the sky, looking upwards and still holding the lantern, and the back of my dress flowing into the snow in full view...highlighted by the glow of warm candlelight. The moment was captured beautifully and is now framed on our wall. We also asked Heather to take some shots of us during the day in front of the iconic Tetons and those photos are always met with a "wow"! I had look at others but for some reason Paula Roberts Photography stood out to me. Her pictures are phenomenal. Each ones , I looked at ...she would capture the moment. And that's what I loved about her work. The more I got to read her story on her business page the more I decided I want her to do my friends family photos. They great thing was she was from NC and my friends lived in NC too. It was a great match. My friend was grateful for the family photos they had a great time in the shoot. And the pictures were amazing. They were happy with their new family photos.
