East West is a gorgeously decorated venue space in West Asheville on Haywood Rd. This space can be rented out hourly and has a capacity of 50. I have been here many times-mostly for pop up craft/art shows, once for a 20's themed birthday party and most importantly, for my own wedding rehearsal dinner. Renting the space for the rehearsal dinner was easy and the owners were super helpful and accommodating. Their contract is very clear and their prices are very, very reasonable! We had 50 people total for the event and when we arrived the night of the party, they had the space set up for us with their dining tables and lovely chairs arranged as well as a serving station and bar area. Their furniture is what makes this place so incredible really-they have absolutely beautiful mismatched furniture, vintage and rustic looking. This is the type of space that you see all over Pinterest. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a small event venue for a wedding or birthday party. This is such a cute little venue! I attended a Yelp Elite party here a week back and had an excellent time. I never knew this event space even existed! I was told that renting it out on a weekday is super reasonable- only $65 an hour. You can't beat that! I love hosting large parties at my home, but I can never fit the amount of guests that I want in my tiny little home. Anyway, the venue was set up in a beautiful way- full of antique and vintage furniture items. They have restrooms, but I'm not sure if they have a kitchen. I've been told that they will set up the room however you'd like it. When I was there, they had out three very long tables and I think there were about 50 of us. They have a few parking spaces but I was able to park in the alley to the right of the building. Not sure if that's allowed. I will DEFINITELY be planning my next big event here! Pick-up from their storefront was simple and efficient, everything well-packed for the bumpy ride to a rural venue. The mismatched glasses, plates and silverware were just the look the bride envisioned for their farm field wedding. The tables were absolutely gorgeous and East West's prices were quite reasonable. A really great event space for groups large and small (60ish max). The mix and match, vintage furniture can be configured to your desires in the space, or rented out for your own party elsewhere. This is one cute little pinteresty looking place on the extreme east side of West Asheville, just before River Arts District. It's a big, cavernous space, with a lovely girly cozy vibe to it. I guess this is the kind of place you go to if you want to have a pinteresty funky femmey looking wedding but you don't have the time or the fortitude to collect 50 different mix-and-match kinds of depression-era milk glass to drink champagne out of. These ladies will rent it to you, so you can have the wedding of your dreams. ( The kind of wedding in which you appear pigeontoed and looking downward in every photograph, brown wavy hair cascading over your shoulders. Wearing your fiance's watch ironically on your wrist, plunging back of your grandma's gown showing off your hand-drawn tattoo, just so. And all the guests get personalized cupcakes. And champagne punch. And dance under Chinese lanterns hung from graceful oak trees) Yeah, it's that kind of place. They also rent out their venue, apparently, with all the nifty old timey furniture in it. I could see someone doing a high-end boudoir photo shoot on all of those faded velvet chaises longues. From what I understand their prices are reasonable. Seriously, though, SUCH a dense cloud of estrogen that kind of hangs over this place. Really, I've never seen anything like it. East West Vintage Rentals offers the BEST vintage rentals! I am so happy I stumbled upon them and were able to rent from them for our wedding day! We rented the mocha loveseat for our sweetheart table in which we also used it for our sunset photos, on top of renting a sweetheart table from them as well. We rented mismatched dinner and salad plates, mismatched colored goblets, farm tables, a farm cake table and a few other items. It really made our bohemian-themed wedding exactly what we had dreamt of it to be! read more

My wife and I held our rehearsal lunch at East West in October. The room was spacious and the decor had an eclectic yet unified feel. The front room gets great light during the day and served as a good photo shoot area. Despite the range of objects found in the space, it always had a clean and organized feeling. East West was a perfect choice for our wedding celebration and I would highly recommend it to others! read more
