It is a super sad situation, as the place use to be our family's go to automotive service location. We will never take another vehicle to them again. They have lost loyal customers who try to support local businesses, due to their unprofessionalism, untrustworthiness and unreliability. The first issue was that someone did not check the fluids after servicing our vehicle. They called after the fact to say they "forgot." I call that unprofessional and unreliable. The 2nd issue came after my mother died and I inheirited her vehicle and needed to get it inspected b/c of MD requirements. I called them last Wednesday and requested an appointment for an inspection ASAP. The soonest they could even give me an appointment was Monday AM. The car was there before they ever opned on this Monday. My husband called mid-day to see when the car would be finished/ready and to let them know that our plan was to go to the Motor Vechicle Administration AS SOON AS it was ready as there were time constraints. They informed him that they could not inspect it b/c there were clothes in the back seat. They did NOT BOTHER to call to let us know that. My husband got all of the clothes out of the back seat and we waited to hear from them. Then around 3:30, he took the initiative to call them again. They informed him it would not be finished today. They would have it done by 9 tomorrow-which did not work for me. I immediate went to retrieve the car and will not give them any future business. Good luck, if you try them. Very Sincerely, Teresa Alison

Their cost were all pretty close. The difference is the core return refund, ie whether it is paid up front. So, the core return makes a huge difference on the overall price. Anyhow, Denton Auto care quoted me a price that just for the transmission was $4500, nearly $1600 higher than the sources I looked up, no discount for the core return either. This shop tries to charge you extra every chance they get. So, I sourced my own part with a warranty. Then they still jacked up the labor about $400 higher. Then they hit me for an additional $200 to program the transmission. It's 2026. Like they didn't know that this was part of the procedure. The only reason I used them at all was proximity to where I live. They also were listed in the transmission suppliers installer pool. I won't even use them for a tire repair at this point. Nothing really against the mechanics that work there, but the management staff needs an overhaul.

My Jeep dealer was booked until late September, which was way too long for me to wait since I was going out town that weekend. I had heard great reviews for the service at Vince's from the Canton Neighbors group, so I decided to take a chance. I was able to get an appointment easily the next day, and I was blown away by the service! The staff was SO friendly and treated me and spoke to me like I was part of their family. I was in and out within a reasonable time, and the issue (rats starting to make nests under my hood ) was shown and explained to me in detail by Ray, along with recommendations to help prevent them from moving back in (once I stopped screaming). An outdoor waiting space was set up with a canopy, table, chairs, outlets, and a fan. I was offered something to drink while I waited and was updated along the process. First of all I had an appointment at 7:30am yet the guy who did the oil change didn't even show up until 8. I also needed to have my wipers replaced and the guy behind the counter first told me that it would be $100 extra and when I told him that was ridiculous, he punched a few more buttons and then told me it would be $50, so I said to go ahead. This was at 8 and by 8:15 they tried to sell me brakes (which had just been replaced last year and the car doesn't get driven that much), so I told them no. By 9am the oil change was done and they were still waiting for the wipers to be delivered from a store 10 minutes away, I decided to give them a little more time but by 9:30, they were still saying they were waiting for the wipers, so I told them to forget it and ring me out. Between the oil change ($75) and ($25)for the oil filter it ended up soaking me for $120 total. Needless to say between the attempts to gouge me for overpriced items, unnecessary repairs and the ridiculous waste of time waiting for a 10 minute delivery, not only will I never go there again but warn others to save themselves
