My two front tires were literally on its last thread, sometimes why do i do that lol. I also didnt want to spend $250 on brand new ones, so off i went bargain shopping. They initially brought the first used tire, didnt like it. The second was better, a Goodyear brand, and the third a Continental looked like trash. I settled on the Goodyear for $100 including install. So far, so good. Car runs well. I was in and out within 20mins. They do have brand new tires if you don't want to go the used tire route. I've had bad luck with tires this year. But while in "Bmore" it's been very difficult since the roads are very bad. Anyways, someone punctured one of my tires and I was low on cash. Got out the donut and went on line and found this joint. The customer service was awesome. I was helped by Ben. I was in and out in less than 15 min! Y'all know I travel ....a lot....so good tires are a must. I get back to Baltimore and boom ...another flat...Back to Baltimore tires. (Note: different tire...not the one they replaced) Saw Ben again and got an excellent price on 4 new tires!!! In and out in less than 30 minutes. This is my second time at the place, the quality of service was exceptional and skilled. I did not have to wait long however they have a nice welcoming waiting area to sit in. They explained to me the pricing and what needed to be done to my car. I got two used tires for $55 each considering having to pay $120 each for brand new! read more

I came here because of the excellent Yelp reviews. I needed Tire balancing to correct an incorrect balancing job by The Tire Network. When I asked the staff what they charged for balancing, they originally quoted a price of $60. I told them my story, the price changed to $40. The mechanics balanced the tires quickly (probably too quickly). When it came time to pay, I asked the mechanic if he fixed the problem. He said, 'yes.' When I started driving the car, the problem was either the same or worse. Today, I took my truck to Monroe Brake and Service on Howard Street to get my tires balanced. The problem was fixed and the mechanic said that my tire weights were 'really out of whack.' Appears that Baltimore Tire cannot balance tires on a Nissan Frontier. I will not patronize Baltimore Tire again. read more

No clue how this place has a good rating! I brought my car in today for (4)new tires, 205/55/R 16. The first guy did not understand what that meant. I told him I wanted four new tires, he asked me, "Are you sure you don't want used tires?" I said no, new tires. He just pointed for me to go inside There's no cashier, a mechanic with no name tag walked out who barely knew how to use the computer (or speak english) and could not tell me their inventory of 205/55/R 16 tires. I told him I was looking for a fairly cheap, but new tire that only needed to last me a couple thousand miles and I wanted to pay about $60 a tire. He told me he had Kumho performance available for $106 a tire to which I said no, I said I wanted to pay closer to $60 a tire. He then said OK, I have Goodyear Eagles for $114 per tire, clearly not understanding what $60 meant. I asked again if he could just show me the inventory and the guy looked at me with a confused look and said he did not understand. If you're going to have mechanics double as cashiers, at least make sure that they speak English and know how to work your computers. read more

Ben, the Manager, couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. I've never had a single problem with them. Stopped in over the weekend. I needed three tires and I was in and out in about 20 minutes with three quality used tires for around a hundred bucks. Try that at a Firestone or other name brand tire dealer. While waiting for my tires to be mounted I spoke with Robb. Nice guy and very knowledgeable about the tire business. I had an unfortunate run in with a pothole on Balt-Wash Parkway and my right passenger front tire loss. Shortly after hitting the pothole, I could feel my tire run flat. After getting the spare put on, I carried onto to work. While at work, I began "Google'ing" discount tires and I came across a dozen or so and called them all. I was trying to get it done today and Baltimore Tire was the only location who could get the exact tire I had for my VW which is not normally the case. Most reasonable pricing to include balancing and disposal and the customer service was awesome. They even inspected the other tires and found a nail, slow leak, in a rear tire. They put on a patch for next to nothing all at the same time. I will definitely look to them in the future...fingers crossed I don't run into anymore potholes. read more

Came here before to get my tire plugged a few weeks later my tire is back to being low on air. I drove back to the ask them to check the right tire that they plugged and he asked did I have a receipt. Why would I have a receipt weeks later. I told him I don't care about a receipt and asked him to look at the tire. Since he has a horrible attitude and can't answer questions I won't be returning! Save your receipt if you do decide to go to a horrible tire shop as such! read more

I went to Baltimore Tire today to have a flat tire plugged. The young men who assisted me were very nice. They had my tire plugged, put back on my car, and my spare returned to my trunk in less than fifteen minutes. All for a very reasonable price of only ten dollars. read more

Used to come here often, the service was good and fast and the prices were very reasonable. Called today, the person on the line seemed confused, asked me multiple times what car I had, put me on hold a while, then quoted a price $10/tire more than I've paid (last a few months ago). I asked when the price went up and the man kept saying "if you don't like it, no problem, you can go somewhere else". I just wanted to know if it was new management or just new stock price. He insisted it has been this price for a long time, then repeated the address of the business (things I never asked) and said "If you don't like it, no problem, go somewhere else" like 10x. I thought I needed one very expensive tire. Instead they recommended a perfectly fine used tire at a fraction of the cost. Before mounting it however, they examined the damaged tire and were able to repair it at a very minimum cost. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.
