This Court serves everything from landlord tenant to Minor felonies. You will see people standing in line at counters on every floor. Each floor has its own designated Court system that it services. You will find real estate at one desk. landlord tenant at another desk. You will find probation department at a different desk. You will find traffic fines at a different desk. If you are coming to this building please be sure you visit their website to find out what items are not allowed in the building. I can tell you that they do not allow cell phones, ink pens, and no food or water. It is best if you only bring your ID wallet and car key if necessary. This court handles lots of cases and they get you through as quickly as they can. Please be patient with the bailiffs and also the court Personnel or they may possibly lock you up. I saw someone arguing in the hall and suddenly the court security personnel pulled out handcuffs and the police came and escorted the person into a holding cell at the end of the hall. If you are here for landlord tenant go to the second floor to the information desk for information about your case. The legal clinic is on the 4th floor and it is not open everyday. You need to be sure that you understand what documents you can bring in and in what form before you come to this building. Always Be sure you look it up on 36 District Court website because they give specific information that changes almost daily.

Growing up in Dearborn I've been going to GFV for almost 30 years now and it's one of my most…read morefavorite places in the area. The last few decades have mostly been visits for events like Holiday Nights and Halloween, which means I haven't gotten as much time to really interact with this history and exhibits but recently I visited during a regular ol' summer day to check out the new Jackson House and exhibit and WOW. It's really impressive. You can tell just how much care and thought they put into preserving history and displaying the Jackson family's legacy and ties to the civil rights movement. It's humbling and informative and really lovely (I do love the decor of the 60s! All the vibrant colors!). Adjacent to the house is a building addition with more artifacts and historical information to put the home's importance in context. The seperate, more modern design admittedly does feel slightly out of place compared to the rest of the village (where the homes and workshops stand alone) but I understand that the family likely donated the home to preserve it and make it almost like a stand alone museum inside this larger historical complex, but I do love that most of the buildings just kind of speak for themselves. The guest access to the farms has also grown a lot since I had last visited. During our visit we got to hang with sheep, roaming chickens, see some steers and a calf, and of course the horses. It was peak harvest time so the fields were full of corn stocks, pumpkin, cabbage, and an assortment of additional crops. They've also added the Detroit Central Market, which is a great central gathering area for special events and a weekly farmer's market, and a children's playground area which would have made field trips a lot more fun when I was a kid! There's also a new dining complex with a few different food stations. My mom and I split a woodfired pizza and it was really good! High fives for using the old world pepperoni. Love those little meat cups! Highly recommend getting a membership for easy access to early event tickets, discounts on food and shopping, movie tickets and of course free admission to the museum and village. We were saying we should take advantage of our memberships more, just go to walk around on a nice day as a change of scenery. It makes for a very pleasant stroll, even if if you're no diving deep into the history of it all.

Don't even know what to say here.) 3) Then said "the amount I could claim would only be about $100-$200 a month more than my own so not worth claiming. (ANY amount over my own would be worth it!) I think I may have spent around 2-3 hours here alone. And that's just me perusing through all the exhibits relatively quickly. You can spend hours in here. It's truly worth the money. If you do have time, definitely go to the Rouge factory. I was able to head over there. I wasn't able to visit Greenfield Village, but that will now happen on my next visit to Detroit.
