1 star is too high...Horrible customer service. I made an APPOINTMENT for 8am Friday morning. I showed up early, dropped my truck off, was informed "well, we may not get to it this morning, but I'll know something by the end of the day." Since my appointment wasn't actually an appointment, I rented a car bc I was stuck otherwise. At 6pm on Friday, with NO CALL, I reached out only to be told the diagnostic guys stops doing diagnostics in the morning and would prob get to my truck on Monday morning. I called 8:20am Monday morning, was told my truck was "with the tech" - called back at 11:30, still "with the tech," called back 1:30, "still with the tech" - when did appointments become suggestions? This "family run business" does not treat their customers like family, not sure why they don't care, but they do not. read more

This dealship is a total joke. Purchased a brand new 2020 explorer from them 6 months ago in June 2020. After driving the car less than 3 thousand miles, it had all sorts of safety features being disabled (bad radar sensor was diagnosed). That was over 3 months ago. I have been told 3 different times/dates when they should receive the part, and was pushed back again today for another 3 weeks. The service department seems to care less and have been awful with communicating delays or whatever. This car is not safe and I am not happy to put my family into a car that is disabing safety features, not to mention that a 10 mile trip will trigger between 6 and 8 very distracting warnings/notifications. They had another car on the lot that was used and could fit what our needs are. They encouraged me to take a test drive. Well guess what, the airbag light was on in the white 2020 Expedition I was out test driving. The sales rep stated he would get it into service, but said let's see what the numbers look like. I sat down and let him run the numbers only to be told he would offer me 13,000 dollars less than what I paid for my new ford 6 months and 5,000 miles ago and I also placed a large down payment on the vehicle. I've been here 3 times now, the first time was for custom work fitting and painting a new front bumper. I had another ford dealership working on this project who kept delaying and putting it off, they quoted a week of work that kept increasing both in cost and duration. I pulled the project from them after visiting the shop 3 months after it had started and little had been done. Chestatee Ford was recommended to me by a friend and I did some research, I found that they were highly recommended by my insurance company and many others in my car club. After meeting Joseph the body shop manager he quoted one week and finally an honest price. I accepted and work started, it went slightly over schedule but for good reason and I was always informed. I left very happy with the quality of their work and promised to return. Unfortunately a few months later I was incurred small damage on the highway with a random tire left on the road. I immediately went to Chestatee for repairs, again was not let down with the quality of the work done. Currently I am back in the shop having them paint and install hood vents, Joseph as always was extremely helpful and helped with suggestions. I left feeling very confident my car will look great. I will be back to finish my car with a new rear bumper and wouldn't choose any other place, they have a customer for life even though they're about an hour drive from me. read more

I got turned on to this dealer by a friend who lives up near them. He's bought several Fords there and spoke highly of them. My local dealer was lackluster in trying to find me what I wanted, so I contacted Kevin Pratt, their internet sales guy at my buddy's recommendation. Couldn't be happier with the results. Kevin searched hard to find me the car I wanted and to get it to me so we could take advantage of a soon to expire cash back from Ford. I live over 2 hours away from Chestatee Ford, down in southwest Georgia. Hitting the traffic up through Atlanta made me question my decision, but once I got to the dealer I was very happy I had made the trip. Some of the nicest and most competent people I've dealt with, ever, and hands down the easiest and quickest car buying experience I've ever had. They had many other great trucks but we found the exact vehicle we were looking for so we went a little off of our beaten path after Connie sent me pictures and the dealership followed up with our internet request for more information. Well, I guess shame on me for thinking some backwoods car dealership would hire professional salespeople. I just got confused by the fact they represent the FORD brand. So during this past Xmas break, I was looking at some cars and came across one I wanted on the internet and decided to drive to dealership. When I parked, out came 4 desperate salesmen to assail me. I get it guys, business is slow and you need your commission. But for the love of all that's good in the world, have some dignity. So I speak to the first one who accosted me, who told me I had to wait for the car I wanted to see as another client was test driving it. In the meantime, the car salesman wanted my license (I guess to conduct a soft search of my credit). I told him I could show it to him, but I wasn't gonna give him my information until I decided to buy the vehicle. So he goes away while I wait. In the meantime I notice they had set up the room for some holiday activity. After a few minutes, I notice sales people rushing in in a panic and some "pastor" starts to give some inane religious speech to everyone in the room. I really thought this was weird as I wasn't in a church, had I known there was a religious service going on I would have not come that day. Afterwards (I'm still sitting there in a bench and waiting) I overhear some other staff talking about their fundamentalist politics really loud, not caring there were customers walking around. I'm not gonna complain about what they discussed but about the fact they even felt empowered to discuss such sensitive topics in front of clientele who are strangers to them. I am pretty sure Ford would not approve of either a religious ceremony nor staff discussing politics (this is the deep south so you can imagine the kind of idiotic stuff they said). I also noticed what seemed to me to be a manager talking to what I assume to be his wife and spanking her in the butt and laughing like two middle aged love birds. Then the same idiot approaches me with his mustachioed creepy grin to ask if I was being helped, so I know he was spanking butts while on the clock. I'm not against displays of affection, but this was mind blowingly unprofessional. Wouldn't this be considered sexual harassment by the other employees? Nevertheless, my salesperson tells me the other customer decided to buy the car I wanted so on my way I go. Salesperson didn't even try to show me anything else and that's OK with me. A few months later I got to talking with an acquaintance who happens to be familiar with them. I learn that one of the higher up accountants there is a religious fanatic married to a baptist pastor and that the management is composed by a bunch of loutish rednecks who don't understand what professional labor relationships entail. I was regaled of tales of how that creepy guy brings his wife to the showroom and puts on a display of extreme PDA in front of every employee and client without a care in the world. How they constantly discuss their negative feelings about gay folk and about minorities etc, in front of everyone, even clients!! Finally how they post anti immigration/pro Trump posters in their business office for everyone to see and when they get black clients they hide them. So, I'm not really looking to do any business wit them in the future and I am really confused as to why Ford would even lend their name to this dealership, as everything described is strictly forbidden by labor laws and could land them in legal trouble. The reason is that if they feel they don't need to follow the law in that respect, how can anyone trust them with my credit or that they don't sell me a clunker? I ended up going to the John Megel dealership down the road and it was worlds apart in service and professionalism. read more

Read what has been stated in the two previous reviews written. Avoiding phone calls, not contacted by the owner to discuss the actual events!!! You can state your side of the story but it is negated by the fact the car is unsafe and not repaired correctly. I still have a fender that has a hole that is not in the drivers side fender and there is something loose and knocking in the right side. It will go to my local Ford dealer for a diagnosis and we will go from that point. Understand this is light aggression to this point with a review that can be removed.
