Being a typical woman I panicked and scrambled for those I knew who would have an opinion about local shops. Lucky's came up more than once. To my delight they were able to get me in fairly promptly. Yes, I am the typical woman and know very little about cars. My raving review comes from the fact I felt it was a fair price (from research) and I really felt like they took a moment to show me what went on and the why. When at other shops you get spoken to like the clueless car customer (that you are). They also worked with me for payment, which I greatly appreciate since it was a surprised expense. Give Lucky's a shot.

But Gabriel and Keenan made it literally so easy! We went from test drive to leaving with the vehicle in two hours. The vehicle is exactly what we wanted and we've have had it for a week now and love it! And yesterday we received coffee mugs and fresh cookies in the mail. Lovely touch and we appreciate it! Volkswagen Duluth focuses on customer service, and doesn't act like they are doing you a favor by helping you buy a car. We as consumers have the choice to take our business anywhere we want, and my husband and I definitely recommend Gabriel and Keenan at Volkswagen Duluth.

My experience with Keenan McGovern was disappointing. During the sales process, he was friendly and…read morehelpful, but after we signed the paperwork for our certified pre-owned vehicle, his communication and approach changed noticeably. We traded in our previous vehicle, but the title was still at our families home in Michigan. Keenan told me that this wasn't a problem and that once I returned to Michigan, I could simply mail the title to the dealership. Based on that conversation, I believed everything was taken care of. I was surprised when he later called and told me that I now needed to sign a power of attorney because the dealership had already sold my trade-in before receiving the title. This was never mentioned during the purchase process. If selling the vehicle before receiving the title would require additional paperwork or legal authorization, that should have been explained from the beginning. Buying a vehicle is a significant purchase, and customers deserve clear and transparent communication throughout the entire process. My frustration isn't with having to sign the paperwork--it's that the need for it only came up after the dealership had already sold my vehicle. More transparency upfront would have gone a long way toward building trust and avoiding unnecessary frustration.
