I needed to replace my Jeep's glitching Uconnect head unit so I researched and settled on a new Stinger HEIGH10+. Reviews of the Stinger unit indicated that it's a great system but a bear to install. I dropped my Jeep off at noon and was told I'd get a call later in the day. I thought for sure I'd get a call about problems and or delays with the install. Nope. Got the call as I was leaving work that it was ready to pick up- I couldn't believe it, seemed too good to be true. I scheduled an appt 4 weeks out for a remote start install. the guy i spoke to said he had the parts in stock and scheduled me for nov 11. i made 100 deposit and was never made aware of any policy for cancelling an appt (not getting deposit back) nor was i emailed a receipt or invoice with policy on it and the manager admitted i didnt get the invoice with the policy. today 10/27/21 i called to cancel my appt due to the fact that i sold that car. was advised per policy i would not be refunded the deposit and would only be given store credit. i made him aware that he never told me about this policy when i scheduled. he stated he was the one who scheduled me and admitted i didnt get the policy. they should either tel;l everyone about the policy when taking deposits or honor a full refund especially since my appt is still 3 weeks away. he stated he would have to talk to someone but theres no guarantees of anything. wont be going back here ever again. poor communication and poor management. policies can only be in place and followed with verbal/written acknowledgment for the consumer otherwise policies are broken and contracts are invalid. ***Update the owner has edited his response twice and stated that because of my review he is unwilling to work with me and theres nothing more he can do. i cussed him out for his poor business. he asked me what i thought a deposit was for and i explained that the issue is that no one stated to me the purpose of the deposit when i scheduled. i was under an impression that it was to hold my spot for nov 11. he stated it was for a special part needing to be ordered. the issue isnt that a part was ordered (which by the way a company can return and the owner stated that to me) the issue is that i was never made aware that a part was even ordered. the owner stated i was told this was being reviewed and that i should have given it time prior to posting this review. read more

Mike and the team at Auto Audio went above and beyond to help us with the audio roof we purchased online for our RZR. When it originally arrived, we had high expectations based upon what we were told the roof contained. Needless to say, the sound quality was horrific. The constant rattling, buzzing and distorted sound made us wish we had never spent thousands trying to make this machine sound better than the system we had in our Polaris General. Even though this was another company's product, Mike and his team agreed to take a look at our roof to see if there was anything they could do to improve the sound. They pulled everything apart and found that the one and only amp didn't have nearly enough power to give us the sound quality we were after. Outside of the power issue, the design of the roof made it impossible to provide a nice sound as the components were rubbing against each other. This meant we had to endure a rattle that rivaled a small earthquake each and every time we tried to use it. On top of that, we were supposed to get a Rockford Fosgate PMX-2 head unit with the roof when we bought it, but it came with a "zoned" Memphis unit. Thankfully, Auto Audio had the Fosgate head units in stock, so we were able to get rid of the Memphis and upgrade to the PMX-3. This will allow us to install at backup camera at some point down the road. After installing sound deadening foam and running new wires, we have one bad ass audio roof. We couldn't be happier with how things turned out and the entire team at Auto Audio was incredible to work with. We will never buy any stereo equipment anywhere else from now on. These guys know what they're doing, so don't make the same mistake we did. Go to the experts first. You'll save yourself a lot of money and your ears will thank you too. Thanks again you guys! We purchased a Drone remote car starter/EZ go package from Auto Audio. They had misrepresented the product when they sold it to us so after it was installed and we discovered it did not work the way they said it would, we requested to have it uninstalled and refunded. Called to try to talk to the manager several times about the situation. The manager did not even attempt to resolve the problem...he only said that he is not authorized to make decisions to refund and we had to talk to the GM. We left messages for the GM and never got a return phone call. After a week, and calling the manager daily, we went into Auto Audio to try to resolve the issue. As soon as the manager saw us walk in, he all of a sudden had a solution and said that since he was not able to get a hold of his GM, he made the decision to have our EZ go system uninstalled. Although we're not completely satisfied with the end result, we accept it. Our Drone remote car starter works without any issues. They swapped out the EZ go system for a key fob to our remote start-which works without issues. Installation here is great; customer service sucks! They will be very attentive and answer all your questions when they are trying to sell you their product, but if you have a problem with it, good luck getting an answer. The GM does not return phone calls and cannot be reached. The manager does not have any authority to make any decisions. Would NOT recommend this place to my friends or family! read more
