This is a great store in Cheshire run by a friendly family. This is my first time at this store location and everyone here is so cool and friendly. I sampled the -196 Beam Vodka Seltzer by Suntory. It's a wonderful tasting product w fresh fruit not artificial. originated in Japan and is here now. Only 2 grams of sugar and has 6% alcohol volume. You need to try it if you haven't yet. Wonderful product to take the beach or pool area. Their selection of beer is very impressive. They have the regulars, along with a lot of micros. Plenty of variety for any of your likes. The store itself is rather large with a good selection of beer, wine and spirits. Prices are competitive. They have Frank who does tastings in the store who can help you find something or answer questions. Plenty of parking available. read more

I was pleasantly surprised on the wine selection in this "big box" package store. Nice balance of main stream wine brand vs small lesser known brands represented by Skurnik and T Edwards, etc in CT. Pricing right on point. Clean and organized more so than Sav-rite in north haven. If you had to decide between the two stores, take the ride to Cheshire and frequent this place. They go the extra mile and present the customer with something more appreciative than what most other big box liquor stores can replicate. Would like to see more natural wines in the selection but that's just my preference and not one of the masses more one of Cheshire. I'll be back. read more

Again with the hot beer!!!! Coolers were broken again. Despite their notes to reassure the beers are good, they were not. New england ipas cannot change temperatures that drastic or they get boozy. All my beers were bad. Im done with this place read more

My experience with this business has been first class Ravi one of the owners was very good as far as helping me select wines for a party . He offered me discounts on various beers and spirits for my party. He also had some samples for me to review before purchasing. The selection is very good with over 8000 ft. Of floor space. I am a fan. I don't know what the beer selection is. Nor do I care because when people start yammering on about micro brews, my douchebag radar goes off. I'm a wine drinker with a shot of whiskey or tequila thrown in for good measure and this place has a vast wine selection that is easy to navigate and a decent selection of tequilas and whiskeys.The prices are reasonable and probably less than what I typically pay when I liquor shop in the West Hartford area. I am a beer geek, and I came to this location in search of beer. The selection that this store has to offer is quite extensive. The staff here is friendly, engaging, and quite knowledgeable. They provided me with some excellent recommendations. The store features more of the hoppy beer styles, with an excellent offering of IPA & Pales. There were also some of the bigger, maltier beers available as well. Everything from local craft to imported hard-to-finds, this was a nice location. Clean, fairly well organized, and well stocked. My only complaint was that some of the more hop-forward beers were not stored in the cold case, but honestly this did not seem to affect the quality of the beer, as it is all stored out of direct sunlight. Cheshire Wine & Spirits has a great selection of craft beers, wine and liquor. It's my go to when I am in town and I have always found every craft beer or cider I'm looking for other stores don't have. Recently I have been in search of a particular red wine blend that is my absolute favorite and couldn't find anywhere. I stopped into Cheshire Wine & Spirits and asked if they carried it and unfortunately they did not. Instead of just saying sorry and sending me on my way like everyone else they offered to bring some in for me which was awesome. I got a call a week later that they had received the wine and put aside a few bottles for me at the register I could come grab whenever- talk about service! Thanks guys! read more

We bought a keg from here for my husbands birthday. When we tried to use the first tap handle it would not work. I had to go back during our BBQ and get a new handle. The next one worked at first but then as we used it more it would get stuck and not pump out any beer. This resulted in our guests drinking our liquor instead of the keg since it was too late to go get a third tap handle. When I returned the Keg and tap handle the owner could care less that it did not work. Very poor customer service... no money back for a basically full keg due to their malfunctioning equipment, no gift card to try and retain us as customers, not even an apology for the inconvenience. The only good thing about this place is the worker Jim who is very knowledgeable about beer and very helpful in the store. read more

Selection is okay, but the place is filthy. Would it kill them to run a vacuum through the isles once in a while? It's a small store trying to do it big and you can tell they don't know what they're doing. I wanted to take a shower when I left. Check for other stores in the area. read more
