We had a few very weird occurrences happen throughout the night, most notably in the attic and basement, both of which gave off insanely heavy vibes. The staff is amazing as is the old mansion itself, which has been through a myriad of architectural changes throughout the decades. We will definitely be back for a day tour! Super scary houses, my 11 year old and her friend did them with my wife but we kept my 8-yr old out of them (a little too much for him, we did paintball instead!). They were definitely scared, my wife however said the workers did adjust their level of "scariness" after seeing younger kids as to not completely terrify them. The house has so many different elements and "zones", it isn't a quick walk through. Each room has a scary feature be it a person, or simulation. The last phase of the house is dedicated to clowns, and boy are they dedicated!!! The barn- oh my goodness! That was so fun, and scary! You're chased with a chainsaw, haunted by dolls, and the girl from the ring. Characters stay in character, and provide the right level of fright! Paintball hay ride (zombie).... absolute blast! My 8 yr old and I did this three times!! He had so much fun, we got tons of paintballs, they play music and zombies walk all around open fields, hide in spots etc. This was a great age appropriate event for the younger ones not able to do house or barn event. It wasn't terrifying, but more entertaining. Scary folks running around... they have folks running around w/ chainsaws, penny wise, and other current horror film characters just walking around. Lots of places for pics/selfies for the millennials. Big thanks to Missy (owner) and Maggie. They were super friendly to my family after they discovered how far we drove (specifically for paintball zombie ride). This is a family/friend affair and the staff does in fact make sure they don't "over-scare" little ones. We had a blast and will definitely be back. We drove two hours and spent nearly 3.5 hrs there. I purchased the tickets ahead which was pricey but overall worth it! The tickets included admittance to the three attractions which were the haunted house, hayride and the corn maze. My fav was the corn maze, the actors did a good job with jumping out at random moments. I definetly got a good scare or two lol! My only gripe was the long lines, each attraction took about 40 minutes to enter due to the long lines. At the end we got cinnamon sugar donuts which were hot and delicious!

Wear sneakers -- there are long lines outside on grass and lots of walking through the haunted areas. 2. Porta potties located throughout the attraction. Bring hand sanitizer. 3. They have smoke throughout the entire area -- inside and outside. If you have asthma, bring your inhaler just in case. 4. Lines are long so think of ways to entertain yourselves during the wait. The earlier you get there, the less you'll wait in the lines. There were entertainers throughout the lines but they were infrequent. 5. There was a snack stand right before the first attraction that sold pretzels, hot dogs, candy, and drinks. There is also the pumpkin patch at the end of the route that has carnival vibe food areas with funnel cake, corn dogs, fries, slushies, candy, etc. 6. The first haunted house has many exits if the place is too scary. Because of this, the first one wasn't as scary. On the other hand, the other 2 attractions did not have exits if it is too scary. 7. There's a VIP line and it looked worth it after standing in lines all night.

Our tour started almost 30 minutes late because the guide was waiting for a personal friend to arrive - and on top of that we hended up having a spark notes version of the tour because of an event happening later in the afternoon. Our questions were shot down and we were told we would cover that topic during a different section of the tour. That part never came. We missed several buildings and the buildings we did see we weren't permitted to view inside/certain floors. They tried to end the tour over an hour early, but as soon as we demanded a refund/reschedule opportunity they said we could go backtrack to a few different places that we had initially not been permitted to see. The guide started the tour full of energy and stories - she told us about court cases that lead to many current laws and legislations that have been passed. However, after she tried to end the tour early that same energy she had was lost. For the entire last hour of the tour we were brought to empty rooms and told very little history of the place. Instead she just spoke to a few individuals (which I'm assuming are the ones she knew personally). This experience was a wasted drive, and quite frankly wasted money. They prioritized a specialty event that was happening instead of focusing on each and every individual tour - who honestly had paid just as much to be here. We spent more time standing around and waiting than we did hearing about this places history.

What's most interesting about this haunt is that it also benefits breast cancer research and the cost of entry is extremely reasonable per person for the incredible detail and quality of the haunted house experience that they deliver. I took my daughter Ivy and her friend both of who were completely big talkers and confident that they couldn't be scared by something like a haunted house inside of an old store within a mall. How wrong they were... within fifteen steps of being admitted through the entrance, both were behind me and clasping the back of my hoodie as tight as they possibly could taking little baby steps behind me through the entirety of the haunt. Where this place definitely shines is the small group admittance, the actors dedication to making each person's experience unique, and the effects and care that is put into each area. There is quite a bit of loud noises, strobing, and for effects used, so it is not for everyone, as there are times when it can become very disorienting and chokingly dense with fog vapor. However, I cannot overstate how wonderful the quality of the haunt is compared to the price of admittance. I paid a mere $15 for something that anywhere else would be charged far higher. They do wonderful things here and for a good cause. Get out here now and book tickets before the end of the season and experience it.

I've been to Legends of the Fog a couple of times over the years, most recently this past Friday…read morefor a spooky night of fun. This haunt is great for a small or couples activity; this year I went as a part of a group of 4. We all got the Fast Pass tickets which I highly recommend you do. This gave us priority access to all of their 4 haunt attractions; there were two lines in particular (the Haunted Hay Ride and the Butchers House) that were VERY long. Without the fast pass folks were easily in those lives for over an hour, maybe more. Get the fast pass -- worth the additional $15 bucks. There are 4 attractions - the haunted hayride, cornmaze, hotel, and butchers shop. The hayride and cornmaze are easily the best two attractions. The hayride takes you through 5-7 stations that are build up into different themes. Each has plenty of scare factor and actors who jump up and harass the guests. Shoutout to the design teams for making awesome props and sets. The cornmaze is my favorite -- they let you wander through the cornmaze searching for the exit while actors are hiding to provide some jump scares. We had a blast and got scared plenty going through the maze. The two indoor build outs, the hotel and butchery were just okay. I think they were sending too many guests in at once; this didn't give the actors enough time to reset into their places for the needed scares. They could have used a few more actors as well - we walked through many rooms and corridors without seeing anyone. The plaza outside of the haunts is really nice. There's a bonfire blazing to give you a nice spot to warmup. There are carnival games and a vendor selling Legends of the Fog gear. In case you get hungry, there's a small stand selling carnival food like hot dogs, hamburgers, and hot cocoa. Overall, a great night out at Legends of the Fog. Lots of laughs and scares throughout the evening. Make sure to get that fastpass!

OMG, was this ever a blast! Basically you walk through a couple rooms which are setup like a house. I don't want to give too much away because it would ruin the fun. However, I will say that you get a laser gun, which you are supposed to kill Zombies with. Some of those zombies are mannequins and some are people with zombie make-up who will scare the hell out of you. There are also wall cutouts and floorboards that aren't real, so the entire thing is one wonderfully scary experience after another. I went with 4 girls and my husband. So there was a lot of screaming, but a good time was had by all. For $10, it was totally worth it.

I've been here twice - once about 15 years ago, and again last night on an absolutely perfect fall…read morenight with my 11-year-old son. It was a blast! After taxes and fees, tickets for a 7:00 time slot on Friday were $49 apiece. Definitely expensive, but I felt we easily got our money's worth. It's in the middle of nowhere south of Mullica Hill. We got there around 6:40 and parking was easy with floodlights in the lot and many signs and attendants guiding cars. There are four different attractions included in the ticket. It starts with a hayride, then onto three different areas that you walk through. Each area is an absolute assault on the senses: loud music and sound effects, actors jump scaring you, running at you screaming with chainsaws, flashing lights and bursts of fire everywhere. Definitely fun but not for the faint of heart. Everything here is truly next level from the costumes and makeup on the actors, to the pyro technics, to the hundreds of animatronics, and the overall attention to detail in the set designs. Afterwards they have campfires to sit by and lots of food for purchase. It was really nice to sit and just people watch and enjoy the atmosphere. Just an all around classic South Jersey Halloween experience that everyone should try at least once. If haunted attractions are your thing, you definitely need to try this one.

We started with the hayride where we sitting on top of one another. The place was not scary at all! I think they are confused with a water park because we were constantly getting sprayed with water while on the hayride and walking through their so called haunts! There wasn't very good scenes or actors. We got stuck behind three drunk girls who had nips in their pockets that they were drinking when going through the haunt. They actually stopped in the middle of the haunt to take pictures and hold the line up. The actor didn't say a word to them and just let it happen. Another group was holding up The line when they were talking to an actor they knew!! Not scary at all and very loud and obnoxious trying to make you deaf! A lot of little kids were at this haunt too! By the time we left my sweatshirt was damp. Between the unnecessary noise and spraying of water everyone in my group was wet and pissed off. I will never return to haunt! Waste of time, energy, and money!!! There are much better haunts in the area.

Every once in a while you drive past a place so many times that it almost becomes part of the…read morescenery. That was the Turkey Hill Experience for me. I'd driven past it countless times over the last few years but either didn't have enough time to stop or couldn't convince anyone else to stop with me. During my Lancaster Adventure Day, though, all of that changed. I purchased a Single Scoop ticket online ahead of time for $16.75 and reserved the very first time slot of the day at 10am. I figured a late-summer Thursday morning would be the sweet spot, and it turned out to be a great decision. It was busy enough that the place felt lively but not so crowded that I had to wait for every exhibit. Parking was plentiful, and I somehow managed to snag a spot right in front of the GIANT cow out front. Honestly, my day was already off to a fantastic start! The only hiccup of the visit came during check-in. Even though I'd already purchased my ticket online, I still had to wait in the same line as everyone buying gift shop items, purchasing admission and asking questions. Since there were only a two employees working both the registers and admissions, the line moved a little slower than I expected. If I could change one thing, it would be creating a separate express check-in line for folks who already have tickets. Once I finally made it inside, though, everything became easy peasy! The exhibits are completely self-guided, so you can wander at your own pace learning how Turkey Hill makes its ice cream and iced tea while playing with interactive displays along the way. One of my favorite parts was creating my own virtual ice cream flavor, complete with custom packaging. I also wanted to film my own Turkey Hill commercial, but those stations stayed busy the entire time I was there, so that'll have to wait until another visit. Naturally, I made a beeline for the tea sampling station. As someone who appreciates sugar-free options, I was thrilled to find both Zero Sugar Sweet Tea and Zero Sugar Fruit Punch available to sample. Both were fantastic! Then it was time for the part we'd all been waiting for...unlimited ice cream samples. One thing I really appreciated is that they weren't tiny little "blink and it's gone" samples. You picked two flavors, and they served actual scoops in a bowl. For an attraction centered around ice cream, that felt exactly right. My only tiny complaint? Wooden popsicle sticks instead of spoons. They definitely got the job done, but they made eating melting ice cream a little more awkward than it needed to be. Still...free and unlimited ice cream? I'm not about to complain too loudly! I spent about an hour wandering through the exhibits, playing with the interactive displays and enjoying the air conditioning on a hot August morning before making one final stop in the gift shop. Prices there were about what you'd expect for a tourist attraction, but there were plenty of fun souvenirs if you're looking to bring a little Turkey Hill home with you. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend visiting the Turkey Hill Experience at least once. I don't know that it's somewhere I'd return over and over again, but it was a fun, interactive way to spend an hour learning something new, eating entirely acceptable quantities of free ice cream and escaping the August heat. That sounds like a pretty successful adventure day to me!
