On this particular visit, the only other patron was engaged in conversation about guns and ammo. After about 15 minutes, the proprietor gave his attention to me, the only other patron did not make a purchase, at least not while I was there. I concluded my business in short time. On another visit, I was granted entry (door buzzer). Instead, I was the only patron. It appeared that only the proprietor, his assistant and me were the only people inside of the establishment. The proprietor appeared to be doing paperwork to the left of me. To the right of me was the assistant who appeared to be wiping down the counter and various other things, like the telephone and such. Not wanting to intrude, I sat on a stool while getting no attention. After approximately 3 or 4 minutes, I got up to leave. To exit the door had to be buzzed. About 4 steps to the door, the buzzer immediately sounded to allow me to exit. Not one single word was spoken between us. I used this establishment for FFL services, not anymore. Freestate range is a short distance away and the cost of transfer is slightly cheaper and services professional and polite.

Upon entering I check in with the staff in front and then headed upstairs to where the class was held. Our instructor Stephanie was engaging and made class fun. Got our fingerprint done during class and then after the lecture we went and did some live firing. One of the downside is the bathroom only has 1 urinal and 1 stall, on this day the urinal was out of order so a long wait time to use the bathroom since only have one stall. All in all, it was a very straight forward process to completing the class and getting my HQL certificate and I would highly recommend anyone who in the area and need a HQL class to get it here. As for me I won't be back unfortunately due to the distance, gas price, and having to drive through dingy Baltimore to get to this facility.

I took 2 of my handguns to Jack's Gun Works several years ago. One was brand new with 14+ lbs (off…read morethe scale!) of trigger pull and impossible for my wife to even pull the trigger. Jack had it ready to be picked up in just a couple of days, with a trigger pull of just over 3lbs and smooth as silk. The other handgun was a Ruger Mark III. You know, the kind that you had to have a degree in mechanical engineering to break it down to clean it! I left it with jack for a few days and when I went back to pick it up, he had it fixed by altering the release mechanism with an aftermarket piece. It works beautifully! Jack is VERY knowledgeable and an excellent gunsmith and a real friendly to all of his customers. A good man to know and work on your guns! Thanks, Jack!

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and didn't mind that I was inexperienced. I went in a few times to check out the guns before I finally pulled the trigger on the 9mm. The ammo was pricey and so was the gun, but you couldn't get guns or ammo anywhere then (unsure what it's like now but probably still tough), so I didn't care. The fact they had ammo at all was a huge plus. They have a great location and amazing signage too. Can't miss them!

The staff showed me a lightweight hollow point, ammunition that I had never seen before, so I couldn't leave without getting a better look at it. I was sold the minute the staff showed me the weight of this ammunition, and it was incredibly lightweight. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners today, and they were two of the nicest people I've met in years. This shop has an amazing story of pride in their families' service to the country, and I wish them all the best with their business.
