Sadly, my kids are almost two and still not walking, but I arranged with family to be able to not need to lift them and to schedule surgery for September. I was SO EXCITED! I called to put down my deposit, but was told that because it had almost been a year since my initial consult that I needed to come in again, so I did and was appreciative that I wasn't going to be charged another consult fee. The nurse and staff were all so kind in explaining this to me so I scheduled the second visit. After having pleasant conversations with the aesthetician and nurse, Dr. Khan comes in and seemed different than our first visit (which btw I thought fondly of her from), in this visit she hastily took my measurements again and explained that my breasts were now much more saggy and I needed not just implants, but a lift. I didn't understand her thought process so I explained that and that I didn't want more scars which would be involved with a lift. She then said, "Let me put this into terms you'll understand, you know when you fill a grocery bag with more stuff and it just sags..." ... I think asked, "Do you think my nipples are going to be downward facing if I don't do the lift too?" And she said "I don't know, but that's why you come to me and not Dr. Google." Honestly, I just didn't understand why I couldn't get a better explanation for the lift and maybe I do need one, but if she was treating me like this during consult then I didn't think she would take any of my other questions very well either. My feelings were hurt, I was so excited to schedule surgery coming in, but she didn't seem interested in helping me so I decided to just leave and booked an appointment with another surgeon in the area. After losing over 200 pounds, I was finally ready to remove my excess skin and close this chapter of my journey. I went into surgery feeling hopeful and was told I'd be receiving an extended thigh lift -- one that would properly address the severity of my loose skin down to my knees. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. My results were uneven, incomplete, and left me with deformities and no definition in my thighs. The emotional and physical toll has been devastating, made worse when I was told I'd need to pay again for a revision to fix work that should have been done correctly the first time. Since then, I've consulted with five other board-certified plastic surgeons in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including Dr. Al Aly, who literally wrote the textbook chapters on massive weight loss body contouring. Every single one confirmed my results are not consistent with a properly executed MWL thigh lift and identified major technical errors. In my opinion, Dr. Liland is not qualified to operate on massive weight loss patients, despite advertising these procedures. Patients like me -- who've worked hard to lose hundreds of pounds -- deserve surgeons with true MWL expertise, not someone using them to gain experience. I wish someone had been this transparent before my surgery. If you've gone through massive weight loss, please research your surgeon carefully and don't be swayed by social media photos or marketing claims. I'm sharing this so others don't endure the same pain, expense, and regret I have.

I was referred to him by my facial plastic surgeon in Fort Worth. This turned out to be the best referral I've ever received. I had a BL/BA in March 2022 by a different Southlake plastic surgeon. The results left my breasts looking *worse*. They were larger (thanks to the BA I was told was the only way to achieve upper pole volume - it isn't) and drooping more than pre-surgery. The areolas had also greatly expanded. I had a revision surgery in March 2022 with better results, but still had significant ptosis. The right breast implant was noticeably higher than the left. The left had fallen out of it's pocket and was slipping. The doctor was unwilling to listen to my concerns and tried to gaslight me into not believing my eyes. I had given up by the time I met Dr. Thornton in 2024. The consultation changed everything. He was gently honest that my results could be significantly better if my BMI were in a heathier range. At the time, I was 5' 1", 185#. He was NOT rude, condescending or taking any pleasure in telling me the simple truth. I appreciated his honesty and got to work. Improving my diet and increasing my exercise - in addition to reducing my nightly glass of wine to one glass every 3 - 4 months led to a dramatic transformation. I went back to visit Dr. Thornton in July 2025 at a healthy 120#. I wasn't just skinnier, I was healthier with proper nutrition, plenty of physical activity and a healthy mindset. We scheduled surgery for a month later. My expectations were set in a clear direction. Dr. Thornton acknowledged that he didn't know what he would find coming in after another surgeon. He was able to diagnose the slipped implant and had a plan on how to correct it. He wasn't going to over-promise and under-deliver. I felt secure in the knowledge that I was in capable hands. Fast forward a month and the results are BETTER than I could have dreamed. Recovery was so much easier than the previous two surgeries, even though the procedure was more involved and took longer. I credit Dr. Thornton's skills and his choice to use the Keller Funnel. Even before scar mitigation, my incisions are almost invisible. My breasts are sitting high on my chest and the implants are perfectly symmetrical. Communication is very important to me. Even if I had clicked with a surgeon, if his staff wasn't a good fit, I would have walked away. His nurse Tina is warm, caring, personable and reassuring. She's such an asset!! I sincerely appreciate the kindness and unending patience from Skylar and Courtney. Honorable mention: the surgery center Dr. Thornton uses, Mansfield Surgery Center is ultra clean, staffed with the kindest staff (shout out to Wendy and Michael). The anesthesiologist, Dr. Meiser was phenomenal. Bottom line: you will get out of the surgery what you put into it - follow your PS's directions, DON'T SMOKE, watch your nutrition, live a healthy, active lifestyle, ask questions and keep a positive attitude.

I emailed her and several others on November 5, 2025 and I still have not received a response. I've reached out to Yaritza three times since then, and she has not replied either. This company pressures you into getting the procedure, promises results, and then completely fails to deliver. They think it's acceptable to keep your $10,000 without addressing the harm that was caused or the fact that the procedure produced no results at all. I will not rest until this issue is rectified!! I was very surprised when I tried to schedule myself for Juvederm injections recently…read more 9 and 10 years ago I received Juvederm injections at Dr. Anderson's spa and it went perfectly. 2 years ago I went in for Juvederm injections and had a bad reaction. The nurse asked what other medications I recently had and I told her I had a Physer covid booster 2 days prior. She quickly got an antidote to neutralize the reaction. She was apologetic for someone not telling me to avoid certain medications before getting Juvederm injections. She treated me very well, apologized and gave me ice pads for my face. And I felt it was my fault for getting the covid booster before the Juviderm. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I was very surprised. It was very ugly. It was surly a bad reaction. I texted the spa and told them that my face was very ugly. Now, fast forward to present day: I made the appointment on November 19th. Then I received a call from a woman who said that I could not return to the spa at all for anything because of the way I acted after the Juvederm reaction 2 years ago. She continued to accuse me of many things. She told me that, at that time, she tried to call me back to the spa, and I wouldn't come. (I don't remember this) She said, that I told her to stop harassing me. I believe this as a lie. I would never say that because she was nice to me at the time. I remember the nurse was not mad at me 2 years ago, nor was I mad at her or upset at anyone. It was a continual verbal abuse on the phone and a very big surprise. I don't know why she would make these accusations at this time. Possible she thought that the same Juvederm reaction would take place if I had it done, and it would embarrass her or the spa?? Or, she didn't like me texting the spa to tell how I saw my face? I don't know. My wife and I spent well over $45,000 on plastic surgery and some on Juvederm from Doctor Anderson during the last 20 years and everything was great with high quality, perfect surgeries. Why am I treated this way now? This above is the absolute truth. I am a Christian and it would be very difficult for me to lie.
