My Doc is 5 star!!!! Dr. Pajarillo talks with me, not at me. She listens to my thoughts and…read moreobservations about my health. That does not mean she is a pushover or will believe your BS. She and I have worked to establish a trusting relationship. That means being honest with her about my health and behaviors. BUT she doesn't judge or lecture me about my choices. And I do not ask her to do stupid or dangerous things/medications. That being said: Providence sux. they may not be exactly For Profit, but their executive staff makes way too much money and their patients and providers suffer for this with low quality resources and denials of service. 10+ years ago - before they kicked all the Sisters of Providence off the Board of Directors - things were better, but now - Providence - and all the other health services Swedish in Seattle, Kadlec in Washington, Covenant in Texas - and more they have gobbled up - it's just about the money. These people are about as concerned with your health (or showing God's Love) as Donny Trump and his Oligarchy Billionaire Bros. So, My doctor is great, Providence, not so much

She felt it and told me I am fine. I had blood work done for the same reason and when I saw her again to discuss the results she said everything was fine. I ask for a physical copy. When I got home and read them, 8 results were flagged and way out of the normal range. My husband went in to get refills for his Celexa. She never called it in so he went up to get a physical copy and was handed a prescription in his name for 150 vicodin. They are horrible about calling in prescriptions. Last week he called to ask why they didn't call one in as they said they would and he was put on hold. Finally he drove 15 minutes to the office while still on hold and the receptionist was sitting there with the phone flashing doing nothing other than watching Judge Judy. That was just one of many problems with prescriptions.

For those of you who are skeptical about the office visit time, understand that they are running a business. With that being said, I feel like I should be a good little yelper and spread the word, because finding new doctor is probably one of the hardest tasks in the world, especially if you are like me and find yourself googling every disorder and disease, almost certain I have each and every one. But that's not for here... ;-D Dr. Upshaw is fantastic. I have been seeing him as my PCP for nearly 10 years. He is a D.O., and has a holistic approach about him that I really like. He is thorough, but quick. Empathetic, yet realistic. He takes charge and really knows his stuff, but also lets me have a say in my health care, which I greatly appreciate. I can usually get in for an appointment the same day as I call, or the next day at the latest. The office is clean and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly, but very busy. Sometimes they do not answer their phone, and you have to leave a message or call back later. This isn't usually an issue, but something to mention. So, there you go. Want a great Doctor, who cares about your well-being and is knowledgeable, understanding, quick and efficient? Go see Dr. Upshaw, he will become your new primary care physician, I can assure you!

This office is horrible. I had a Dr. Craig Haggett as my PCP. Never met or even saw Dr. Podett. I…read morewas on pain medication and also was going to a pain clinic. At the beginning of every month on the 9th I had my pain medicine to get refilled. What a joke! Every month I would call in my prescription 48 hours in advance then the fun would begin. The pharmacy bless them tried very hard to help but they would contact the office and never get an answer. I would have to make call after call and trying to get someone in the office to return my call and assist me. October of the year (2025) was especially difficult. I had to leave for my Granddaughter's wedding on October 11. I did the usual call in my prescription and wait the 48 hours. Started calling on Thursday and leaving messages. Finally spoke to someone on Friday. Explained to them I really needed my prescription filled so I could head to the Wedding the following day. Like usual it was always like I was bothering them and they would just tell you they are working on it NO sense of urgency what so ever. Never got my prescription had to go to the wedding with no pain meds. They could have cared less!! The November once again I do things by the book as usual. Called in my prescription waited the 48 hours and then started calling. The pharmacy did the same thing. Talk to them Friday they said no Dr. in today. Maybe try tomorrow Saturday. Called Saturday and nothing. Finally called back Monday and they said they would call me back. 4:00 Monday afternoon they called me back and said I needed to have an office visit. I said yes I know I have an appointment scheduled for next week. I tried to explain to the person on the other end of the phone she just told me you need to go to a pain clinic. I said I do see a pain clinic Dr. I just had an appointment with him in September. My wife (retired nurse) asks to speak with them. This is where the person on the other end of the phone started getting snotty with my wife. Then she hung up on my wife. This office is completely unprofessional and lack knowledge and when I did everything I was supposed to do and she had nothing to stand on she hung up. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this office.

When I explained that I would be changing insurance based on any place I could contact, she still said no. Don't waste your time.. My issues with this clinic started when I was attempting to call and…read moreschedule new patient appointments for myself, husband and our daughter who will soon be born. I specifically told them I was trying to find a Dr for my child but also wanted to get my husband and myself established too. I wanted one Dr for all 3 of us. I was told one Dr would not be able to handle the work load, so the needed to split us up amongst 2 drs. Fine.. it took over 2 weeks and like 3-4 calls for them to schedule us. They kept calling and asking the same questions and told me they would call me back. Finally got scheduled. I get to the building and it's older than dirt, smells like my gmas house. I believe I was the only patient there, I didn't see any cars in the front parking lot, only the back lot which I assume were the employees. Didn't see a single person other than employees. I probably saw around 10 employees which was mind boggling for the lack of patients. Not only is the building old, but also everything in the building. The receptionist was using one of those ink printing calculators - which begs the question: why type of computer programs do they have if you need to use an ink printing calculator?! The patient chair in the room (the one that moves up and down, and is usually covered with paper) looked to be from the 50s. It was not a "paper dispensing" chair, they only had a puppy pad looking medical sheet where your bum goes. The MA didn't even know how to operate it all the way, she couldn't put the leg part down. My blood was taken in room by the MA which was odd to me, there's usually an in-clinic lab with a phlebotomist or whatever. This was my "new patient appt" and they wanted to do a breast exam and pap, which was odd to me. The pap was skipped because I'm 9 months pregnant. In talking with the dr she mentioned I should have received a pap by my OB and I told her I did but it was "half of a pap" because I'm pregnant and she didn't want to mess with my cervix. The Dr proceeded to be like "these new drs these days, I don't know what they are doing, medicine always changes" which honestly made me feel like she was the one who didn't know what she was talking about and unprofessional. To top off - I found out they don't even see infants! That was literally why I was trying to find a DR! I specifically mentioned that when I called to schedule appointments. The reason they don't see kids under 2 is BECAUSE THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY and they kept needing to throw away all the very expensive vaccines. What does that tell you?! NO ONE COMES HERE. NO ONE TRUSTS THEM TO CARE FOR CHILDREN. I could go on.. don't waste your time.
