Luckily I was able to book a glass bottom kayak for a sunset tour! The tour lasted a little under 2 hours. I was super nervous at first but eventually got the hang of it. Our guide was very helpful and informative! We kayaked along the channel, enjoyed the sunset, and even took a group shot! Unfortunately the water was too murky to see the bottom, but we did see the seaweed underneath us. Highly recommend when the weather is nice!

The electric bikes that we rented were absolutely perfect for the windy day that we were riding. We were able to ride at the shore of the beach and explore neighborhoods of South Carolina. If one needs to feel more active, keep the speed at 1 but if you want more cruising, keep the speed at 5. This was perfect. The wind would have deterred us but the electric bike and Van Rowell came through. Rent these bikes from here. You won't be sorry.

We loved it so much we came back on Monday to do the private island tour! Keats was our guide both times and he made us feel so comfortable and if we got stuck he told us exactly how to get out so we didn't need him to come rescue us. If you want a smaller group this is definitely the place to book through! The salt marsh tour was us and one other couple and the private island tour it was just us. If you're on the fence of doing a kayaking tour just do it! We had tons of fun and would recommend Trailblaze Adventure to anyone we know that goes to visit Myrtle Beach

The staff were nice seemed like mostly younger kids. Overall I just wish I had known I would be limited to such a small riding area. We made the best of it and still had a fun time but after about 30 minutes of going back and forth it left a little more to be desired.

I highly recommend this experience for beginners and for intermediate riders.

The surf lesson hut is right at the edge of the beach and the parking lot near the hotel's water park area. Check in and signing waivers are at the surf shack. Open cubbies (not secure) to leave towels, sandals, small ice cooler etc behind the shack. Outdoor open shower for general use to rinse off afterwards located behind the shack on the way to the beach also. Parking: Booking instructions say that there is a white 2-story parking structure across the street (unknown cost) as I did free street parking.

We always ask for our guide, Chris, as he is super friendly and knowledgeable. I always feel safe as he looks out for the group, but there is plenty of time to zoom around on your own, too. My favorite part last year was coming up on a pod of dolphins near a shrimp boat. There had to be at least 15 of them (even a baby)! They were close enough you could have touched them. This is based on MY experience; therefore, the following is MY OWN personal thoughts and opinion:…read more I wish I had been told beforehand to READ YELP REVIEWS and BEWARE of previous experiences. In retrospect (from reading the other Yelp reviews) we came out better than a few others. If you are seeking a company that puts customer satisfaction and possibly safety first, I ADVISE YOU TO READ ALL YELP REVIEWS BEFORE booking chartered trips and familiarize yourself with all terms - this applies to any and all business you are considering. We expected some rocking in the water on the trip out; however, we never anticipated there would be what felt like real safety issues, bouncing so hard that it threw some of us off the seats and caused those standing to grab anything within reach to hang on. It slowed the boat down to four knots and caused the crew to inform us that at that speed, it would take us another two hours to reach our fishing spot and this was after already traveling for an hour. We were asked if we wanted to continue or turn around and possibly reschedule for another time. No promises were made by the crew, but the rescheduling idea was introduced by them. WE chose to turn around. Upon docking & preparing to exit the boat, we were given an envelope containing $320. We'd paid $1,960.00. After several voicemails left on the return trip in, my call was returned. After a discussion of events, a company representative talked with the crew and decided to refund an additional $580.00, bringing refund total to $900.00. He stated he had expenses - boat, fuel, crew (? - sign on boat stated crew works for tips so we gave them $200.00 for the hour - hour and half we were on the boat). We boarded the boat "assuming" businesses that provide services which are affected by weather conditions monitor all conditions and would have and use the knowledge and expertise to make a determination on whether a trip out was feasible or not, and if the safety, wellbeing of the crew and passengers and the satisfaction of customers was placed first, the engine would never be started; therefore, there would be no expenses. Again, this was/is MY/OUR assumption. After the fact, family members searched Yelp reviews and discovered it appears this was not the first and only such incident. Additional Note: We were also "gifted" two vouchers for a half day charter. Our group of 25 might have to draw straws to see who gets to add those to their portion of the refund. I'd asked for 16 so our local family could use that and the out of state family could receive the majority of their initial payment. Well, Two is better than ZERO!
