I have requested many times quotes on air fare, hotels and condos just to find out that their rates were higher than what I found online. I called and left messages for a manager to call me back on December 26 and 27,28,29, finally on December 30 a lady answered the phone and I asked to speak with a manager, she asked me for the reason that I wanted to speak with a manager, I started telling her about the different times that I found better prices and she started arguing with me, she got so mad that I wasn't buying her explanations that she hung up the phone. I called right after that and she didn't answer. On January 5, I spoke with Vanessa about talking to a manager, she told me that she was going to pass the message to John, that was 2 weeks a go and I haven't heard back from them. I called yesterday and today and all I get is their answering machine, I keep leaving messages with no luck. At this point I'm not sure what to do.

I happen to have a bit of extra money that I can afford to waste, Check your finances, if you can't afford a loss, do not sign up. Nothing is free, if it sounds too good, it probably is. The only time you pay more for a vacation is when you are in a hurry. If you can wait 60 days, as you have to do with this plan, you can get the deals. ONE office in all over the Myrtle Beach area, and the next closest is WILMINGTON, NC! They have ONE tow co they contract with for towing. That's for an area that sees over 20 MILLION tourists every year along 50+ miles of area. And they have ONE tow company????? Try calling the office like I did. I made over 21 calls in a 3 hour time period, only to get disconnected when no one answers or get voice mails with excuses. The only way I got through to them was on a line for BUYING something. Of COURSE they answered that phone line!!!! Then I got more excuses and absolutely zero customer service. How can a company this big ignore such a gigantic market????? After 40 years of being a dedicated member I'll be terminating my useless membership!! He made that clear from the beginning of our meeting However, the staff person we met with sorry the next hour+ BSing & directing all questions and comments to him, not me. When the manager finally came over, he mentioned that one of the things they were doing was getting sites that allowed pets. That sounded good. Very reluctantly, I upgraded my membership. Today, I contacted GDV regarding help with finding a place that takes pets only to be told that it is GDV policy "no pets". I feel that I was lied to in other for that office to get me to update my membership. I will never attend a meeting with them again. Ever.

Toni said we should hear something by the end of January, and if we didn't, we should reach back out to her and she would help us. I called in February and spoke to someone there who said Toni was out sick but someone would return my call by the end of the week. I explained the purpose of my call, and she said reiterated that GDV should be able to get that done for us. No one returned my call, so I called again and got their voicemail. I left a message, and also sent an email to the address on Toni's business card, which was an "info@..." address that should go to anyone in the office. I never received any response to either. I called our GDV sales rep. He said Club Loco never should have indicated any ability to help us as that is beyone their scope.
