So much to choose from. Yum!

Love this place! It's the kind of place where everyone orders their own thing but everything is shared, it's all so good and you have to try it all!

I have to say however - they did do gluten free cupcakes and they were done on short notice. The fact that this place is next to a brilliant chocolatier probably doesn't help. She had a Where's Wally themed party and the result was a white fondant with red fondant stripes which weren't uniform in size and didn't quite fit the cupcake tops. At $2.50 a cupcake, she really couldn't afford much and it was a little disappointing. I went home and made some of my own gluten free cupcakes and decorated them with piped colour and little Wally glasses. It didn't take much more imagination!! I have had others say that they've found the cupcakes here dry and I found the same thing. I've always experienced Gluten free cupcakes to have a bit more moisture if anything. Cupcakes and cake decorating is a great little creative business, but I feel that there are better places about and it is a disappointing follow up to what was a classic cupcake business from the 70's.

They are in the same block as Bracegirdle's which is huge competition, so they try to focus more on the cupcake catering. I ordered 100 mini ones for my 21st and they were amazing. They aren't very expensive and look so professional. I got 3 different flavours with colored icing and decorations like flowers and butterflys on top. They come well boxed so they don't move around and get squished and I hired a tiered stand for them to sit on. The cupcakes were so cute and pretty and everyone at my party loved them. They were soft, fluffy and flavoursome. And the lady was very nice and helpful, organizing exactly what I wanted and suiting me for when to pick them up etc.

My boyfriend had the most amazing cake at his 21st birthday and after discovering that he ordered it from Heidelberg's, without hesitation I decided to order one for my own 21st birthday party. Heidelberg Cakes produces made-to-order cakes, specialising in weddings and parties. There are a variety of cake flavours, which are all amazingly delicious and in order to help you decide what flavour you want, they offer free samples of their cakes. I ended up going for the chocolate and caramel cake. There are also a huge number of themes and designs to choose from, which was great for me as I had a themed birthday party. The service was also top notch and very professional. My cake was also delivered by Heidelberg's staff to the party's venue, just before it started. All of my guests greatly enjoyed the cake, and I can't wait until I have another occaision which calls for me ordering a cake from Heidelbergs!

The lovely vintage utensils and serving sets compliment and complete this vibe. Chose this place for a girlie catchup over cake and coffee, because we figured it would be quiet! It was, when you come towards closing time! A beautiful teacupcake with berries was selected. Accompanied by a dark hot chocolate and a cold drink for moi. My friend had the shortbread cookie and the macaron with raspberry and a coffee Everything was so pretty and screams of indulgence. We thoroughly enjoyed our sweet treats. I believe I will call in again in the New Year because Jenna is going to introduce a red velvet item to her selection! She also does cakes for special occassions such as birthdays and weddings. On a family size dinner table setup with unlimited Sweets, Scones, French Savoury Pastries, Traditional English Finger Sandwiches and Unlimited Artisan Tea and Coffee" Having recently moved back to Adelaide from interstate, I wanted to treat the special ladies in my life this Christmas, and so I jumped at the chance to attend this event today, and booked a table. Although the sweet treats served tasted beautiful, I was extremely disappointed that we were served just one scarcely filled cake stand of treats between all seven of us to have with our beverages. No Scones, Savoury Pastries, or Finger Sandwiches as advertised - although other tables were served these. What was supposed to be a lovely treat left me upset and regretting the hundreds of dollars spent on a few coffees, teas, cupcakes, tarts and macarons.

I came across their bright yellow truck when I was on my way to try a new Burger Theory Art Burger. Usually I'm right on top of the food truck goss, but this cupcake truck had been serving in the city for a whole month and I was yet to hear about it. What is going on in the world?! So after lining up for my burger I moseyed over to check out their wares. With 5 flavours on offer I of course went for the 6 pack, grabbing one of each and 2 banana cupcakes. They were pretty and very cheap (at $16 for 6). I really wanted to love these. Like really really wanted to love these. I mean.. cupcakes... from a truck... cupcakes... But unfortunately they just didn't deliver. The icing was the first major letdown. I'm a fan of a delicious but not over the top icing (and I'm a fiend for cream cheese icing), but the flavours were all quite 'fake' tasting and while I can't be certain, there was a distinct similarity to Betty Crocker chocolate & vanilla frosting. The choc mint cupcake strongly reminded me of toothpaste - and not the yummy varieties that you sneakily enjoy while brushing your teeth. ;) The cakes themselves - better, but still not great. The flavour of the cakes was a little generic, and there just wasn't too much that stood out. With plenty of other great options in the CBD (I'm looking at you BTS http://www.yelp.com.au/biz/bts-cafe-adelaide), I just don't think this is the time for the Cupcake Truck to shine. They would make a cute present, and they are pretty, but I just don't think you'll impress a cupcake snob with a box of these.

The staff here graciously glide through customers ensuring that everyone's needs are met. This is all done with a smile and passion for their profession. One thing I really love in a business is when you see the staff enjoying themselves. It is kind of infectious! You just want to be around them more and support such a positive environment and business. It is all about starting your day in the right way! Décor is simple and funky with cool wooden rustic looking tables. The menu is also simple, which shows that they are confident in what they deliver. With my love of bagels, I did not have to second-guess what I wanted for brekkie. It is served with herbed cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, watercress and pickled onions. Woo! However, after ordering it seems I had to get there earlier. They had run out of bagels! But, the staff where kind enough to offer a sourdough as a sub. Great! And also, I should mention that I am not fussed if a restaurant runs out of something. It just means their food is fresh and popular! Ok, so my brekkie was amazing. Lots of flavour in the cream cheese and pickled onions. Bread and salmon was super fresh and the watercress just tied everything off. Perfect! Could not fault it and would be just as amazing in bagel form. The coffee here is ace as well, great flavour and a strong brew! Good pick me up for the rest of my day. I saw on their menu they do burgers, so I think I will return for that. Absolutely love the staff and atmosphere here. Highly recommended!

We asked for a menu and sat down and noticed the menu was pretty much a standard breakfast menu minus the healthier or more foodie special options befitting a gourmet cooking school. So I went up to order and after we ordered I noticed there was a specials board (which you wouldn't necessarily expect to see for breakfast) which was hidden from view from the dining area. Luckily it had one green Juice and two healthier more interesting breakfast options so we changed our order. It's surprising they didn't direct us to the menu board when we were given the menu. The green juice was excellent, and so was the mushrooms on toast. The creamed oats were not too creamy, just right. The coffee was terrible, the worst I have seen for a while. A 'flat white' is normally not literally white! The 'crema' on the top was white with not a tinge of brown and it tasted over milky as well.
