Nice local shooting range. Eight clean indoor firing lanes, well maintained. Guns available to rent to shoot. Friendly employees with a limited but decent selection of firearms for sale. Currently extremely limited stock of ammo, limit one box per customer, for sale. Plenty of firearm accessories to be had here, and pricing to shoot is reasonable.

This store has a variety of firearms and accessories. Bullet making supplies, bullets, targets, range bags, pistols, rifles, shotguns, revolvers and sporting rifles - including ones they assemble themselves. They also have an indoor pistol range. A really nice place with friendly staff. I've been to their range a couple of times and it's not been crowded and is a good environment.

Damage to rear sights from improper installation.

Prices are a little high. Fair selection of guns. Staff a little cold to new comer's.

The staff has bad attitudes and the prices are high. Considering the sour attitude of the owner I wonder why he got into retail.

I recently took a box of old gun parts to Clark. In 1992, when my oldest son, Caleb was 13, with…read morehis own money, he bought used rifle with a 1944 marked Spanish Mauser action. It had been re-barreled and chambered in 308. A Missouri walnut Fajen Sporter stock had been put on it and an early Timney trigger. It was rough but he did the best he could to refinish it at 13 years old. I can't tell you how many deer he's taken with it. Several years ago he retired it because the bluing was thin and it would rust easily if it was in the weather. Then he decided he would take it apart and refinish it again. He did disassemble it, but it sat in a pile for a long time. Last year I retired and had began building, repairing, and modifying some AR-15s, so he asked me if I wanted to tinker with it. However, when he gave me the list of things he wanted done to it, I knew it was beyond my knowledge and experience, so I took it to Clark - in a box. When he looked at it, I apologized for its condition, but his response was, "No, this will be fun." So I left it with him. I know it was no easy task given its age, origin, modifications and other unknowns. But Clark did a fantastic job. It took a while, as would be expected. But he refinished it and made the additional upgrades that Caleb requested, like reshaping the stock, installing cross bolts, and rust bluing the barrel. And so rather than just taking my word for it, here was my son's response that he wrote on one of his social media pages. "It looks awesome! And I'm sure it will still drive multiple Sierra boat tails through the same hole at 100 yards.... Thank You Pops!! We made a lot of memories with this ole gun. And its something I can pass down to my grand kids some day.

Clark is by far the best gunsmith I've dealt with. He offers quick service and reasonable prices…read more He's the only one I'll trust with my firearms.

Well, here is an update to one of my last posts regarding the issues I was having with a gunsmith…read moreand the lack of forthrightness in his business practices. I sent a letter to him outlining the timeline of my business with him and provided the dates and discussions had on those dates. Included in the letter to the smith were his assurances to me that the rifle would be "out the door" by the end of the next week (that was July and again in August 2021). Today I received a certified letter telling me that his battle with COVID caused a near-death experience (November 2021). OK, sorry to hear that but not a reason to lie about the rifle........Next, he had employee issues and that led to the delay, again, no reason to lie about the rifle.......and lastly, equipment breakdowns, hmmmm, still not a reason to lie about the timeline to complete the work. Just tell your customers the truth!!!!!!! As he continued in his letter, he accused me of being a nuisance and trying to force him and his employees to do things on my schedule and further, put my needs ahead of his employees, business and "all my customers as a whole". I NEVER asked him to conform to my schedule and all I EVER wanted was an honest timeline on the work. Sorry for the book here but the bottom line is that I paid for the rifle and in theory it will be shipped to me next week. He stated that if I didn't pay within 30 days he would keep the rifle and do what he pleased with it. And finally, I actually got to speak with someone at the shop today and asked if I could speak to the smith and was told "no". I wanted to chat with him and let him know that I have appreciated the work he has done for me in the past and that said work was done well and quickly. For future reference, I will not be using or recommending this gunsmith for custom work or restoration of single shot rifles. p.s. I did contact the Attorney General and so at least they are aware of the situation. I will be updating the AG on the situation as it stands today.
