I emailed Matt, the owner of Ares and he responded quickly and helped me figure out every single option, he asked lots of discovery questions to figure out what all my needs were, and offered me the option to rush my order and get it made within four days. I appreciate customer service like this, especially in the gun industry, because for some reason tactical companies' websites are very bad, all the time. Having someone be able to respond and speak to you is huge, I'm so happy with the way I was treated and have an incredible holster on its way to me. I'm glad a friend recommended Ares to me.

The racks are not placed to encourage curiosity or exploration. It's more like a garage. One of the reasons many people hang out in a favorite gun store are not just the products but the engagement of the staff, they shoot the breeze with you if it's slow. They encourage you to hold, look and engage with the products. They educate you. They shoe interest in you and your needs and get you talking. It's not just a gun store thing, it's true at barbershops, hairdressers, photography stores, ho by stores etc. you engage with the customer, encourage sales and a friendly atmosphere. None of that was present. I'd overlook the dark dingy store if they got the rest of it right. These guys could not care less that I was there. They did not seem to be working or busy although one was on the phone. I was the only customer with four of the kids sitting at desks. They made no effort to show me anything or what I might be looking for. I would have scored them lower but they indicated they mostly do business by online auction and we're just starting out in retail. Maybe so but a little common sense, friendliness and act like your there to do business instead of acting like kids in grandma's basement glowed to video games. The price I bought my auction item was fair and I appreciated that they called me since their auction software failed to send me an invoice or notice that I had won. I hope they get better at this and are successful but I would encourage them to learn how to merchandise and retail sell. They store and their behavior is the face of their business and in the long run it does matter.

I really learned a lot! Sometimes after being out of 'school' for awhile an 8 hour class can seem a little intimidating but it was well worth every minute of it! And now I know the place to go!! They seriously have so many different classes and I 10/10 recommended taking a class here. It will not disappoint! From beginners to advanced, this is the place to go!
