View from the road up to the winery

We were greeted with open arms upon arrival (literally, the owner gave the birthday girl a hug!). We didn't have a reservation for the wine tasting but the owner and staff jumped right in and got our group of 7 setup with a table outside overlooking the beautiful winery and lake. It was a little chilly that day so bill set up outdoor heaters on both sides of our table, and gave us blankets to stay warm. Our waitress was fantastic, attentive, and learned each of our names and called us each by name as she poured our tastings. We ordered salads and their wood fire pizza for lunch, and boy were we impressed ! Bonus.. we got to keep our wine glasses with our tastings .. they have a Helicopter pad for anyone flying in

We were looking for a dog friendly winery near Chelan after one of our favorite wineries decided to no longer allow dogs. We also wanted something to eat. Chelan ridge Winery checked all those, so off we went. When we got there we got a slight disappointment in that the pizza oven was not in operation on a Wednesday. However, our server suggested that we try the charcuterie board or the salad. We tried both, and they were both delicious. What really impressed us was the wines, and the details that were added to it. We learned a lot about the winery and the wines all while enjoying sweeping views of Lake Chelan. When the resident dogs arrived our dogs found new best friends. I think that really was the icing on the cake. So much so that we returned the next day to try the pizzas. The wood fired pizzas were great. They are not the cheapest, but all the ingredients were top notch. We were with a group of people, and nobody expressed any complaints.

Amazing Hosts, Amazing View, Amazing wine. Thank you so much Bob for always making us feel like family when we come to drink wine with you. We recommend!

The mushroom pizza was a 10/10 and the view can't be beat. Oh and the wine was excellent. So glad they were open later than other places on a Monday night. Thank you!

Best views! Friendly owners! Yummy wine & apps! After 2 afternoons of wine tasting all over Chelan, Chelan Ridge won our hearts! So did their cute on-site puppies! The new owners just reopened at beginning of September 2022 & just go above & beyond to make u feel welcome. The wines were some of the best we tried, and the $19 tasting even included complimentary wine glasses! The charcuterie was delish, and they also offer wood fire pizza & salads. Live music also included. Prices are very reasonable, kids welcome, & u cannot beat that view! Will def be returning!

With over 30 wineries to choose from in Chelan AVA, I see no reason to return to Chelan Ridge Winery. Way over priced (see menu). $20 for unremarkable Margarita pizza that serves 1. They are proud of their expansion plans. $18 for glass of red and $13 for a white wine. The owner, Bill, made the rounds to tables. Has a good view- but most wineries in Chelan do.

Great place to hangout and drink some delicious wine! Pizza was also very delicious. We were greeted by two cute dogs and the owner was very friendly!

AMAZING WINERY with stunning views. Great place to spend the night as this winery is a Harvest Host. The wine selection was very tasty and the pizza was delicious. The staff was very friendly and "Bill" the winery owner spent time talking to us. I can't imagine giving this place less than 5 stars! What a wonderful jewel overlooking Lake Chelan!

Very friendly owners. Delicious, lip smacking wine. Our favorite was the Chardonnay. Beautiful view of lake Chelan!

(Lake Chelan Winery would be the second most informative.) Nice setting with a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains.

The manager and the entire management team were so kind and sweet, which made the experience even better. The drinks were very nice, and the homemade raspberry cider was incredible definitely a must-try. The vibe is good, very cozy and welcoming. There's plenty of parking, and the space is very roomy. The bathrooms were clean, which I always appreciate. The free bread was delicious, and dessert was just as nice such a perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend!

Which would be fine, except their outdoor seating is extremely dirty and due to the amount of trees around, covered in pollen. So it almost felt like second class or a punishment. I slapped the chair cushion and it was like it had never been dusted before. Not that I expect the outdoor seating to be clean at all times, I would expect a higher end place like this that features wine on their menu to make an effort to keep things tidy for all guests. The food itself, was actually pretty good. The deep fried artichoke seriously missed the mark in seasoning and presentation (maybe have the sauce on the side to dip?) but the steak and short ribs were amazingly tasty. Great flavors. We also did a wine flight and the wines were very good as well. One of the glasses still had lipstick on it unfortunately. A couple of the glasses looked rushed to clean. It was replaced and all was well. But still.. attention to details here seems to be an issue. If you come here, make a reservation. Sit inside. Might have a better experience. Get the short ribs or steak and some wine and it will be a lovely experience.

Wait, what? I haven't written a review yet this year? Hahah…read more This place is our "go to" winery! We love Mark, Tami and Lexi. Not to mention the other great workers. The wines are really good. My husband calls the Merlot a bottle of Yum Yum! We really like the different gathering options: two different fire place / pit areas outside, a cozy couch inside with other tables and seating for two or bigger gatherings. They offer live music every Thursday, summer, winter, spring and fall. It's a great place to bring friends and family or meet a date. This place is it! Give out a try!

We got our own cheese board and for some reason I think the lady owner didn't like that (or just…read moredidn't like us for whatever reason!). Although on their website it clearly says you can bring your own food for your picnic and they can provide the wine. Also, for the picnic you're seated on a table. We got our mats with us just in case because we weren't told what the set up would be like... The gentleman was lovely and polite and even jokingly said something along the lines of them not being the greatest with service, which was unfortunately spot on (wise man - he knows their area of weakness). Wines were poured very late, and on many occasions the wrong bottle was brought out. We felt overlooked and unwelcomed. Cute place with nice wines and beautiful scenery. The Pinot Gris is really nice and refreshing. Wine tasting flight was only 15 dollars and waived with a bottle. Great deal. They definitely need to work on improving their service if they would like to run their business more successfully... Smiling and kindness goes a long way folks!! ;) ---------- In response to your personal and public message Tami, I don't check my emails on a Saturday. Nonetheless, I appreciate you taking the time to reach out and sharing your perspective. My intention in leaving a review was not to be unfair or to criticize you personally, but simply to share how the experience felt from our side. Our party was in fact very happy with the table you had given us. We were confused among ourselves whether we were going to be given a table or an area on the grass. The wording on the website about "enjoying a picnic" simply left us uncertain whether to expect a table or a grass area. We even brought our mats just in case. Perhaps you can clarify that this will be in a seated area. *We were disappointed by your poor attitude, and slow service by other staff. Not our problem if you were working alone at the time that we arrived...Again, I don't know who the gentleman we saw was but I am simply sharing our experience. While I understand that our arrival (though we were only 10 minutes late) and indecision about wine tasting may have added to the busyness of the day, from our perspective the service felt rushed and interactions came across as curt. A better attitude/response on your end would have been to ask if there was anything you could do to help or to clarify. You just walked off with an unwelcoming expression on your face. Thank your for your reply and I wish you all the best with your business.

The rosé and Syrah were both delightful and I ended up going home with a few bottles. They seem to be somewhat strict about making reservations, so we called ahead. We got there 5 minutes early and still had to wait a bit before we were seated. The staff tried really hard to get us to go sit in the open seating tent (I swear they asked us like 3+ times if we wanted to), but it had no view, was dark, and was full of kids. Def recommend making a reservation so you can actually enjoy the view and ambiance! We went in the winter so all the doors were closed and we sat inside. It was a little stuffy and loud, but we also went on a pretty crowded day. I can imagine the deck and outside area being lovely when the weather is warmer!
