If they think it might be a collectable they look it up on eBay and base a price off that. Blessings thrift store needs to realize that eBay is a International market with millions of buyers not a Tiny town in the middle of no where. I can go to Wal Mart and do that. (Yes, I am exposing myself shamlessly as a cheapskate). At Gods closet they welcome, NO, revere the cheapskate! Their prices make the average garage sale hound drool. It is fantastic. Stemware for 10 cents (why is there no cents sign on my computer, clearly not a cheapskate computer) Curling irons for 50 cents! Is anyone elses respiration increasing? Shirts, 50 cents, pants for less than a dollar! I can't stand it. Jewelry, all sorts of stuff priced to drive a cheapskate nuts. Secondly, the ladies who volunteer there are also very nice, I like them even more because they are the ones who price the stuff. Now, for you poor individuals who live in Seattle this is no easy drive. It is off of exit 68, then go 20 miles east down Highway 12 into Salkum to get to this little gem of a place, right next to Salkum market. But if you ever camp out this way, stop in. I have to say without question, that the Centralia Square Antique store is in the former category --- it is worth it! The owners/employees are friendly and easy to talk to. When it comes to antique stores, this place has to be one of the most organized, tidy, and well-kept shops I have ever been to! Each section of the monstrously large store is clean and easy to look at. There is virtually no clutter and the items for sale are in good quality. One of my favorite things about it, is that there is a huge amount of variety throughout the store. Everything from furniture, to toys, to jewelry, artwork, music/records, comics, décor ... you name and they probably got it. The only thing that's keeping me from giving it that fifth star are the prices. While the majority of items for sale are of good quality, the prices are a wee bit steep for an antique/used items store - not the bargain that you'd like to find. Still, all things considered, I would recommend stopping in and take a look. I have been there a number of times and will continue coming back, looking for that diamond in the rough and unique and timeless treasure!

I was skeptical that a store founded by the mom of a professional model would stock anything that fit me. But Yasmine assured me they stocked from double zero to 20. I'd heard that at other shops only to find a piece or two in my size. At Runway, many, many things were stocked in my size. I tried on about two dozen pieces and came home with an unconstructed jacket for work, a gorgeous velvet top, an elegant blouse, super cute flared jeans. and an extremely flattering split-hem sweatshirt. My daughter found a couple great shirt jackets and a flattering pair of jeans with her very-hard-to-find 36 inch inseam. We were thrilled! Prices were really reasonable given the quality. It's unlikely we'd have found half of what we left with on your own. Yasmine is that true professional who knows far better than you what will suit you. So glad we took a chance on Runway!

Back in the day when I used to hang out at skating shops a lot (never skated, just liked the…read moreclothes) I would come across Volcom from time to time. I bought a pair of pants one time and immediately fell in love with them and I had a good run with them before they finally had to get retired. They were durable and unlike other clothing brands did not fall apart in a matter of weeks or months. So I was longing for another pair of Volcom pants... at least one other pair for sure but I didn't really hang out at the skate shops much anymore and when I would occasionally would go into one I could not find the brand there. So I was super excited one time when I was traveling on I-5 South and drove through Centralia and saw that there was a Volcom outlet store there. I HAD to go there. It took a little bit of time since I don't go to Centralia much but I finally made it to Volcom a few weeks ago. I loved this store! I found more of those great and durable pants again for very good prices. At the time you could buy two pairs for $69 which isn't bad compared to what you pay for at the skate shops. Usually one pair is around that much at those places. The staff was very friendly and helpful while I was here trying on the clothes to see if a sale was going to happen... which it did. I got two pairs of pants and they still fit and feel great! I'm definitely coming back. I'm tired of getting clothing brands that don't last regardless if these stores are very close to where I live. I will do the drive to come down here and get more Volcom!
