All of the sauces were done extraordinarily well, especially that under the braised leeks!!! the tuna tartare was my bf's fav - crunchy toppings with fresh tuna on avocado in a spicy, asian inspired sauce. we were less impressed by the raviolo and steak entrees but still good (the chili oil on the raviolo kinda threw me off). the intermission was nice as a brief break to shop around and purchase things at a discount. overall, pricy meal but definitely a whole experience (3 hours long that is!). would highly recommend trying this out if you also enjoy fine dining experiences. That entrée easily should have been double the portion size for what we paid per plate. No bread and butter plates on table setting as pictured in the place setting agreement. Cold dinner rolls that were wrapped in a napkin as if warm in basket on tables. The servers were lacking in professionalism and training. Servers should have completed serving all entrees on one table before moving on to the next...as to not have one person without entrée for 3 to 5 minutes, while the rest of table sits and stares at their already cold food. Servers expressing to our guests how they're tired and exhausted and want to get the heck out of there. Server staff pulling dessert dishes before guests were finished, placing uneaten desserts on tablecloth, taking water glasses before guest were finished with them, pouring coffee into paper cups and letting guests know they needed to get these dishes into kitchen washed and packed because they wanted to get home! Cons: - We asked the bartenders not to tap into the second keg and they told us we would not be charged for it; on the bill we were somehow charged for that second keg anyways. - On the contract, it stated that the staff would be working for 4.5 hours (2 bartenders and 4 staff) for about $675. On the receipt, we were billed over $800 for almost twice the the time. They told us that their staff was there from 3PM-11PM after the fact because of set up and dishwashing. Clearly, this should have been made glaringly obvious in the contract...never mind the fact that we used plastic cups and recyclable plates so there would be no need of dishwashing. - Other than the assistant Emily who was more than helpful, the staff running this business have been completely aloof and inattentive to my wife and I. Starting with the first woman that we spoke to, all the way up the chain to the COO. At the end of the day we're not fighting back to get a refund, but it's just a shame that this happened because we love supporting local businesses. Pasquals as a restaurant? Phenomenal. Neither lasted long at the event and leftovers were quickly claimed. Both desserts were FANTASTIC. The peach cobbler was well spiced with a crispy topping. It is difficult to describe how delicious the Banana Pudding was, but if you do not get it when you have her cater your event, you are making a huge mistake. There is no question that we will get Melly Mel's to cater any future event we have.
