They were able to come to…read moreus, cook and prepare food on site, and keep a steady flow of delicious food ready as we gobbled everything up at warp speed. We had a carving station with prime rib and honey ham. Both meats were DELICIOUS. The prime rib was a favorite of many and we ate every last bit of it. In addition to the meats, we had a large selection of smaller bite-sized foods such as crab cakes, mini BLTs, mini Chicken Pot Pies, veggie spring rolls, to name a few. Fresh fruits and veggies, various cheeses, an excellent salad - basically everything you could want, we had it! Everyone was very impressed and I have been getting questioned all afternoon as to where the food was from, who catered, etc, as everyone really enjoyed it. On top of their amazing service, they even boxed up left overs for us so they don't go to waste. Great company to work with!

COMMUNICATION: I live out of state and thought it might be difficult to work remotely with a caterer, but Nicki made the whole experience easy and fun. I really felt like she took the time to make sure I was happy with everything and was always available to chat on the phone or quick to respond to my emails. GRAZING BOARDS + APPETIZERS: I was drawn to Twisted Radish by the photos on their website of their elaborate grazing boards (because appetizers are always one of my favorite parts of a wedding..), and it was so fun creating a delicious spread with Nicki's help. The end result was even better than I expected, she went out of her way to make sure everything was displayed beautifully and it all tasted amazing. DINNER: We did a plated dinner with three different main course options - Wedding Day Salmon, Herbed Tri Tip and Apple Cider Chicken. Each plate came with heirloom carrots with rosemary and orange, garlic broccoli with chili flakes, roasted fingerling potatoes, poached pear salad and sourdough dinner rolls. She even surprised us with butter boards for the rolls! Every dish tasted amazing, even better than I imagined. COFFEE AND DESSERT: Nicki set up a incredible coffee station complete with almond and oat milks in vintage carafes. I have a lot of coffee snobs in the family, and they all approved of the coffee. She also make us two homemade ice cream flavors (vanilla bean and blackberry) that were fantastic. STAFF: Everyone from Twisted Radish was so kind and extremely professional. You can tell they love what they do. I would 100% recommend Twisted Radish for any future events needing delicious and beautiful food. I feel extremely lucky they were available because I feel like we got the very best of the best!

Just days before our luncheon I needed to add another 5 people, which she said no problem at all. The display of food was very nice, holiday festive, clean and neat. Best of all they even brought their own trash containers, which was very helpful to our client. The set up was done on time, as was the prompt removal from my clients office. Both our client and our staff was very happy with the quality of the food served, and they even commented they will have to get in touch with them in the future for other events they have. Very satisfied, full bellies, and excellent response from our client. Mission accomplished! Thank you for a job well done. I would highly recommend their services and quality of their food.

While we had some initial stutters with communication with them (my husband took to Twitter, and that got some attention!) the end result was food and dessert that my friends and family are still talking about 4 years later. We could have gone with your standard sad chicken, pitiful fish, or woefully over-cooked beef and equally sad veggies, but we toughed it out and the food prevailed. They worked within our $3000 budget for food, offering us several full menus and items to choose from, and it was to be cooked on sight. Fresh, hot off the grill food at a wedding?! Practically unheard of. No over done meat, and veggies here, it was all perfect. They even put together a surprise extra cake for my husband and I, pretty awesome, I think. I'd absolutely have them cater again, and still happily give a great review of the food!

A decade or more ago I would swing into this meat market in search of beef jerky…read more Back then I also shopped for the occasional cut to grill at a friends home who at the time lived nearby. That was long ago. Today I wanted beef jerky but left with smoked brisket. Because it was sealed in a plastic bag it's likely it's shelf life could be eons. I didn't bother to inspect any date of production codes, I only cut open an end and ate a few wet (yes, drenched, as though it was swimming in the confined airtight compartment!) strips. I didn't exactly know what I should expect, but wet salty bacon looking slices wasn't anticipated. Taste was good, but didn't fulfill the jerky-jones I wanted to relieve. Thinking back, I am thinking MSG, the yummy and (erroneously) feared stuff Chinese restaurants liberally utilize to assure the food is addictive in such a way you want to keep adding as soon as swallowing the previous bite. That's a good thing. The meat was indeed something I finally had to take a stand against and forcefully stop myself from consuming. It was delicious but strange. I doubt I'd buy it again, though my daughter who historically claims to HATE MEAT, busted in layer that day when I returned to get her, and devoured it. Last time that happened was the day I myself smoked some jerky at home. I was told by my wife "Nicole was eating that jerky you made, until I told her it was meat, then she stopped and refused to eat more. Haha, at least she ate a bunch, because I wasn't going to, I didn't care for the seasoning I used.
