It is not your typical "cookie cutter" venue and it has an intimate charm that is incomparable. We met with Nick the owner during our tour and he instantly made us feel at home. Nick even sent us a handwritten thank you card for touring Sea Cliff, and for us, that sealed the deal for us in booking them for our April 2022 wedding. During the pandemic, Nick and his staff (Ian, Donna, etc.) were so responsive to any and all of our questions and I never felt like I was being a nuisance to them. They all reassured us that our wedding would be the best day ever and they all definitely calmed my nerves. In preparation for the wedding, we attended a tasting held at Sea Cliff that allowed us to better fine tune our menu based on our wants and needs (be ready to get full). THE FOOD AT SEA CLIFF IS INCREDIBLE. Many of our guests have told us that Sea Cliff served the most delicious food they ever had at a wedding hands down. The cocktail hour outside was the highlight, with it being held at outside on the lawn with the sun setting on the water. Many of our guests thought that the food at cocktail hour was the main meal because there was so much food! The service was impeccable and Ian (Maitre D) really put his heart and soul in to making sure that our day went as smoothly as possible. He really made sure that we were able to truly enjoy the day and reminded us to take it all in. Camille (bridal attendant) made sure I always had a drink in hand and she even prepared us plates during cocktail hour to make sure that we were able to at least taste the food served during cocktail hour. She also put together my bustle and made sure that it was always attached so I could easily walk/dance around. From start to finish, our wedding day at Sea Cliff, as cliché as it sounds, was the absolute best day ever. It is a bittersweet feeling knowing that the day is over, but we will have memories to last a lifetime. When you become a Sea Cliff bride, you truly become part of a family and I am forever grateful to the Sea Cliff Manor family for all that they did to make my wedding day even more special.

The week before the event, Chris told me that the food would be delivered about 30 minutes before the start time of the event so that the delivery person could help us set up. Instead, the food was delivered a few minutes PAST the start time, so that guests were arriving at the same time as the order. It was a terribly inconvenient time to be receiving the delivery, and obviously too late for help setting up. We had ordered assorted appetizers -- crudités and chips/dip. The chips and dip were literally bags of Doritos and etc -- without even bowls to put them in -- and frito lay dips. Like the kind we could have bought at the grocery store for far less. Moreover, one of the items we ordered (pasta salad) was totally forgotten. All of this could have been OK if Chris had handled it better afterwards. I let him know the following day about the mix ups and inconveniences, and didn't receive a response for a few days. At the very least, if you have someone else handling a job, you should reach out to find out if it went OK before the client has to reach out to you. His eventual response was disinterested and perfunctory. All in all, we feel ripped off and cheated. Other than the dessert, there was nothing delivered that we couldn't have gotten at Stop and Shop for a lot cheaper and without much more hassle. I'm really glad we had our own chips and dips to supply because it would have been very embarrassing to put out the bags of chips that were delivered. There was no compensation for the dish that was not delivered, nor any offer.
